  1. I don't get this build at all. Why would you take Gut, which deals Kinetic damage + Internal when you take, Intimidation x 3, Demolition x 2, jacking up the elemental damage and not take Energy Blast? This whole build is an Anti-Caster build. That is it, with the reduction of Riot Strike, Interupts and Harpoon CD's, the whole purpose of this build is to have a bit of armor to SLOWLY and ineffectively kill healers or casters, ever so slowly. There is no damage with this build, there is no point to this build, it does absolutely nothing for you, except maybe let you take 4 more hits in a Wz that has turrets that you can call out incs on. Pretty pointless imo. Again, if you want to do DPS and kill casters, take a DPS build. If you need to tank damage to help you live longer you aren't very good at Pvp imo anyway. If you want to level with a tank build, then go into full tank spec, get all the damage reductions, go up to energy blast, like this.... http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801GoGrdRrRGRZMZb.1 Protect your healer, support him with your CC's, let the healer get away, cast your taunts on the enemies, stay alive and interrupt casters, run back to your healer. The whole point of the shield in Pvp is for you to go in Deep with Storm, Stun, get everyone target locked on ya and run back out while the deeps pick off the fringe. I mean, whats the point of a little shielding so you can stay alive and do what... ? Something DPS do a lot better but you can't because you don't know how to have a decent survivability? Imo, if you want to do DPS, grow a damn pair and be DPS then. Otherwise:
  2. This is the worst spec I have ever seen. Compare Storm and the talents you put into it, considering storm only does 450 Kinetic damage to... Hold The Line, in tactics and the talents you take to get there. Compare it, right now. See what I mean? Smoke Grenade vs Gut. The problem is that everyone and their uncle, they are all geared against Kinetic energy, it is the one spell damage type that is most commonly mitigated by class defensive measures. The most damaging type of spell damage is elemental. Storm is a Kinetic Damage. Smoke Grenade doesn't do any damage. I honestly feel like your build is just kinda trolling me, lol. Rebraced Armor and Ceramic Plating, really?
  3. Nope, but I have been told the upside to the bug is that having 5 stacks gives Mortar Volley the bonus as well. Never tested this tho to confirm.
  4. I recently, very recently switched from Shield spec to Tactics and I can tell you that not taking Energy Blast for the 1 point in Power Armor is pretty silly imo. 1% of 100 is 1. 1% of 1000 is 10. 1% of 4000 off a crit in Pvp is 40. Not really useful considering you are going for max damage in Shield spec while the damage off Energy Blast as you speced into Ion + Elemental Crits + Elemental Damage, to not take Energy Blast is really, really inefficient. Let me break it down for ya... 40 damage stopped or 1k damage given without a global cooldown, meaning you can fire Energy Blast .1 second after firing any other spell while still enjoying the GCD from the first spell makes me question if you understand the spell at all. The rest of your build is pretty much what I ran as shield tank in Pvp simply to harass casters mostly, which is really kinda why I switched to tactics in the first place. If I want to be DPS, I might as well take a DPS spec. Otherwise, you are almost better off going into Charge and Defensive measures as HiB isn't really worth all the talents you gave it and didn't even spec into Frontline Offense to justify it. Really, your build is lackluster and trying to do to many things. Be a pure support tank or at the least, take Frontline Offense and Energy Blast if you are trying to mix up both.

  6. When you foray into the world of keybinding, you are entering a whole new gaming world. You are become more then a casual gamer, you are becoming a solid gamer. Every program, every game, everything you do with a computer has keyboard shortcuts. When you start to utilize that, everything you do with a computer starts to become more efficient. So, how do you do that? One answer is muscle memory. It is going to be hard no matter what you bind and how you bind it. It will feel awkard and it will feel weird. The best advice I can give to help facilitate the transition is to stop using the keyboard for any kind of movement right now, as soon as you read this. Only use the mouse. Don't strafe, don't push forward on your W key, just use your mouse. As you start to get the hang of this, you will quickly realize how fast your left hand feels completely and utterly useless. It needs something to do! Queue the bindings. Some use a hybrid system of Q,E,Z,X,C with alternate forms of Alt, Cntrl and Shift to bind the important spells that you use. Others scrap the movement keys altogether, (such as myself) and in my case, I work with, Q,W,E,R,T,A,S,D,F,G,Z,X,C,V and bound every spell in the game with this basic layout using alt, Cntrl and shift. Attack spells, I use the regular keys, support spells are Cntrl + keys, non combat spells are Alt + keys and companion, etc spells are Shift + keys, but this works for me. (Used to using grid on Starcraft.) So.... Whatever works for you, however you bind, whatever you do, the only reason you do it is because you want your left hand to be pressing buttons instead of 'clicking spells.' How deep you go is how well you can effectively keep your character mobile with just the mouse.
  7. You guys all make excellent points! Sadly, as I am also a member in that guild, I have no idea why the OP would even make this thread, never mind spread false fallacies like this. He probably got beat bad, someone dropped accidentally as it happens and he went on a rant. Again, this is a complete lie and everyone who is bashing this guild has been trolled very hard. Pvpfrenzy is a high member guild devoted to Pvp. We have many 50's, many up and comers and ton of people working on alts, like every one else is. What the OP is suggesting is a complete waste of time and quite frankly doesn't happen. Anyway, page 4 right, never gets read anyway, so go back to your troll bashing and know that we are all laughing at you for biting so hard.
  8. What is this I don't even.... PvpFrenzy is one of the better PvP guilds on The Fatman, there is no denying this. I would even say they are the very best. Of course there is no ranking nor is there any incentive or any measure, so we will never know. All we do know is the OP got creamed and is now here to QQ about his A: facts, B: Screenshots, C: Obvious case of imbalance and mechanic abuse based upon his game design experience and analytic genius. The only thing we can gather from the OP is that Pvpfrenzy is dominating in the WZ's.
