  1. upon reading this i quietly lawled to myself and stopped reading.
  2. Theres alot of reasons sage shouldnt do rated maybe, but sage can do rated perfectly fine with the right team. We are really squishy that is true so i wont get into debates over any of that but heres my take on sage/sorc changes. 1) Remove Global cooldown on sever force or raise its duration to 3-4 seconds. (i believe this skill is under utilized by many sage but it really does need an increase or change) 2) Remove Global Cooldown from weaken mind or make it unpurgable (to easy to purge, makes u stand around like an idiot when throwin it around) 3) Make mind crush a 10 or less second cooldown. (to ez to purge, to long a cooldown) 4) Static Barrier/Force Armor does need to scale or be changed to a single hit stopper. 5) Add immunity to interuptions (all classes) during full resolve, at this time being full resolve barely helps a sage healer as we have only 1 instance and it isnt a life saver. 6) this would take a change of the tree but make telekenetic equivelant to say a PT, glass cannon not just glass. Hit hard for how squishy we are w/o insane cooldowns, pushback, and low damage. Yet keep it higher tree so that people cant hybrid it. those little changes could save the class maybe some other tweaks i didn't mention. However I think 90% of the sage/sorc can't play their class. Yes we lack burst (after 1.3, losing adrenals) but i see so many sorc/sage spamming **** like telekentic wave, force quake (dont know the sorc names) and rolling dots on the enemy team instead of just outputting massive dps with project/FoB/Tele Throw (shock/force lightning). We have some decent single target damage should you gear for it. Only class i can't truly 1v1 in a sent/marauder, but i can get close to it using proper tactics. However we are to squishy to do alot of it as we are first target in most wz, so in most cases our damage isn't the isue, our burst isn't an issue, its our survivability being so damn squishy. Save the Utility > defence comments if anyone has them.

Damage is subjective though (maybe wrong word), Regardless of what spec i play on my sage I'm usually #1 in damage, often by a decent margin (even in ranked) however our damage is really just constant, not a real burst. Other than FoB and Turbulence, which dont seem to hit as hard after 1.3 (maybe cause i lost my adrenals). Those PT and Mara kill faster then us (even if they are lackluster defenced, glass cannons) So alot of people pick them first. I just stated it i can solo your average sent/mara (only hurt the rly good ones badly) and i can 1v1 most PT. I got off track maybe, idk, but in the end i ment to say, yeah i may have (example) 600k in a voidstar, and the PT or Mara may only have 400-500k, but i bet they ran through more people faster, despite what the kill count says. importance of damage placement.
  4. always people complaining about PT's and mara's. As a sage ive died to these classes a multitude of times but at the same time, they are one of my first targets after a healer. reason being is most of them are glass cannons. Other then a sentinel/mara cooldown, if they are not targetting me directly, i can make short work of their health bars. and PT's i can handle 1v1 (although im really low health after said 1v1 vs a good pt) so maybe they are balanced, big dmg, no defence. Snipers/Gunslingers always worry me more (as a sage) with hunker down, and massive hits, not saying they are over-powered though. just saying everyone finds some class OP.
  5. Read a few replies after my comment and still stick to my "everyones full of it" thought on this. Yeah sage isn't the best but it is nowhere near as bad as people say it is. And to say, whoever it was, ANYONE in your guild could shut down a sage. You dont play against any good sages it seems, You can only interupt so much e.t.c. All i really saw in those posts is "oh well, the entire sith side of your server must have 0 skill if you survived". Really just..eh. This game isn't dieing to bad game mechanics it's dieing to lazy people, and arrogant people. Yes im arrogant but I've proved my point in many games before and I will continue to. However mr. Ohlen or w/e his name was, I'll gladly take some push towards the other healers.
  6. alot of people have made various defence cases for every side of the die in this thread it seems. So rather then reply, i'll just post my 2 cents. This patch is called "Allies" just call it "waste of time" or "we dont need subscribers" Anyone who finds this particular patch spectacular just boggles my mind. I'm not one of the people complaining i'm gonna quit. I wont quit, I relatively enjoy the game, but it is a bit drab and boring 75% of the time. Augment kits: This just kills even more of the economy, the economy that barely exists. Then again being able to wear whatever i want, I'll take it. Guess this is an ok addition but nothing amazing. Legacy Additions: I do my dailies, i pvp all day, i sell alot of slicing stuff but because of the money sinks in this game, and the price of mod ripping, and the price of the PvE mods on the market..i never have any cash. The grind for cash is just to rediculous, Dailies...eh.. Hopefully this stuff aint to expensive cause the focus of this game does not need to be in legacy right now. Dont get me wrong tho i want more legacy but thats not going to save this game. Server Transfers to little, to late. Maybe im wrong maybe it will fix issues, but what really needs to happen is merges before transfers. This could be an issue IF they really do have a high pop on these servers who come back on every patch, then you'd have overloads possibly but im sure they can find a safe number to merge. Beyond that, Fatman and Harbinger just gonna get flooded with more people, low servers stay low. Unless its selective but then whats the point you wont know where to go and may wind up in a worse situation, or only somewhat better. LFG Tool Perfect use of time...if you actually have a server pop..and content people wanna do. Alot of people can say this game needs that, or this e.t.c. What it truly needs I'm unsure. Cross-server PvP and Group finding? perhaps. Ranked Warzones? Perhaps. What i believe will fix it, stop lying to us and yourselves EA/BW, this game isn't doing fine. Your next patch isn't exciting, you arent listening to the community. You can't even fix simple bugs and its rediculous. I dont wanna stop playing this game, I may take a break for GW2 but i truly do hope, that this game is "fixed"
  7. Just my 2 cents. Yeah Sage lacks some of the things that other healers do, and it does take a bit more skill to stay in the fray. However any sage complaining that it's unplayable, or to weak needs to re-learn the class. In PvP specifically. I have never had a problem with being squishy, or not being able to heal myself AND heal another. unless theres 2-3 dps on me all decently geared and interupting. The only class ive died to 1v1 is a very very select handful of sentinel's, i can name them on 1 hand. If you dont understand your rotations or when to do them, or how to fake an enemy into interupting the wrong move, just stop playing a sage. and in PvE if your tanks doing his job, healing and resource management is easily managed. sages who argue different, need to look at healers like me (Bellatrice), rowling or willie on The Harbinger. even w/o a gaurd we know how to get what needs to be done, done. Not saying were the best, but were examples of how you play a sage in the heal spec.
  8. Tbh if they dont add a lvl 80 valor gear and ranked wz's..this is gonna flop. Thats what alot of ppl unsubbing want, including me even tho i havent unsubbe di still play.
  9. THIS is absolute truth. why anyone disagrees or says theres any problem with the gear thing, is full of it. Only people losing want equal footing. If i hear 1 skilled, geared player say they want the losers to be equal to them, they are lieing. Call that statement b/s and your full of it.

All with BM mods cept the shoes..thats the last piece of BM i need not counting ear/implants.
  11. My sage is a biochemist and i use it alot. My shadow is a synthweaver and, he uses it well. I wish i had made my sage a synthweaver long enough to craft rakata then swap to biochem like im doing on my shadow. Anyways, i use my synthweaving to craft me augmented clothes all the time when i wanna change my look, since i hate war hero gear. and ive amde money off it as well. the skill isnt junk, your perception of how gear in this game works is. just grab all orange and do cybertech and keep upgrading with junk you make, take the easy route.
  12. People in this MMO are rediculous. 1) The best are the best, why make them better? that's easy, because they earned it. Why should some one who just plain sucks have the best gear? On my server i see the worst players in War Hero and they still suck, and its not uncommon its tons of people. If you dont deserve the gear, it shouldn't be easily obtained. 2) To those losing alot due to server pop and the WoW Horde/Alliance type situation (every1 being sith) Yeah that does suck that you have a low pop, but even on my server with a bit more pop then some others I'm always playing with the same trash, minus maybe 3 guild mates, and we have dominated entire days of game play. Find a core group it's all you need. Bioware doesnt need cross-server pvp, they need to cut the amount of servers in 1/2 at this time. More i could say, but MMO players these days have no patience, loyalty or understand what hard work is. If something is hard, requires time, or some degree of effort, they run screaming to other mmo's. I've played a bit of older MMO, and the best were the best cause they were skilled and earned their stuff, or were a guild leader and had everything handed to em, but thats how it goes. Stop complaining and get better at PvP. One person can quite literally win a pvp match. I have myself, and seen others single handedly somehow save their rediculous PuG from losing, many times. Besides, getting all BM gear is quite ez now even if your losing constantly, and its close enough to war hero that if your being dominated, it isnt your gear its you.
  13. 2 of those are correct at least. A clicker will do just as good as anyone else..as long as your not a sentinel or the like really. As far as your question, I believe full recruit was somewhere around 800 expertise which is meh but not bad to start with. I dont remember getting my arse handed to me badly when i hit the 50 bracket, but i pvp'd all the way to 50. Maybe take a look at your build and how your playing your class.
  14. I couldnt read past 2 pages. However i do agree for the most part with what i read. Hopefully class balances get reverted or fixed, but at the same time why is pve still such b/s, meh. Imo all i really want is for them to cut the amount of servers down by 1/4-1/2, that way, idk, maybe more then 1-2 servers on NA side will be above "standard" pop.
