Hi,
Are you looking into transfer players from PVP to PVE and vice versa?
I don't know why it's not possible at the moment. Your FAQ doesn't give any valid reason...
My friends have chars on PVE server and I play on PVP server. They can't bring their chars over and they can't be bothered to make new chars on another server, they already have lots of chars...
How soon is this option available? Or it hasn't been look into yet?
-
That's sick and disgusting.
What is? slave boys outfit?
Well, it's all subjective.
I find slave girls sick and disgusting. (Just my opinion) (Think about all the children playing this game.)
I find the fact that there's only slave girls in the game is very sexist.
Either not have slave girls or give us slave boys!
-
Hopefully soon.
It'd be fun to see some slave boys.
Only have slave girls available in the game is just sexist.

Just spotted this article:
I am guessing he's probably someone here (on the forum)

You don't always get thrown back on the fleet after the flashpoint is completed.
It actually depends on where the flashpoint is.
If you are doing The False Emperor, you'll be existing on Ilum after you are finished.
-
Did it occour to any of you that this might be to implant some type of new world event to celibrate?
No.
Quote from the maintenance note:
"We will be performing an unscheduled maintenance this Wednesday, July 4th, 2012. This maintenance will increase server stability. After the maintenance, there will not be a new patch to download."
-
lol.
They nerfed 'Conveyance' since 1.2!
then 1.3 they buffed other classes' proc skills which made 'Conveyance ' look like a joke!
Here's the quote from patch note 1.2:
"
Conveyance no longer unintentionally allows its buff to be applied to more than one healing ability.
"
Sooo......Yes it's screwed.....
-
On the bright side:
At this rate we'll reach 1.4 by this weekend.
Christmas came early!
-
the point is an hour and 1/2 is NOT a long time for a small patch... if they all had the time to sit on this forum for hours before (and after) crying over it, and if playing during those "peak hours for them" were so important and they had planned on playing at those times then they had the time to check every 1/2 hour or so because more often than not the servers do come on early...
instead they wasted 10 times as much time as the game was down complaining about it being down
The problem is no one knows it's going to be a big patch or small patch.
If they could tell everyone what they are going to release in the patch maybe more players will come online.

It's not Campaign only.
War hero ones can also do the same.
Campaign and war hero are the same rank (I only just found that out myself a couple of days ago from conversations between guildies)
Ralata is the same rank as Battlemaster.
-
it wasn't down for 4 hours... it was down for an hour and 1/2
The maintenance notice says 4:
http://www.swtor.com/blog/updated-maintenance-june-29th-2012-0
A lot of players won't be logging in tonight even.
So, what is your point really? Everyone should sit here and keep on checking whether it's finished? If they are lucky the maintenance might finish early?
LOL
Regardless, my point was all that effort for just one fix. I expected at least 2-3.
-
All urgent maintenances are pain in the ***, but everybody knows its needed if you fing a bug in game. .
I am happy that they release fixes.
But for a 4 hour downtime I expected....more bug fixes....
-
BioWare gave people an enitre month of free game time when they couldn't get ranked warzones into 1.2. Amazing how quickly an unplanned maintenance makes people forget that.
Everyone got that equally.
Hence there were no additional gain in time to anyone.
But the maintenance time is not planned equally.
A lot of countries have different prime times.
-
This is not about me picking the wrong role. It is all the others picking 2 roles.
I was trying to say everyone should check/uncheck before they start to queue.
-
Open the group finder.
Check/Uncheck the role you are/aren't.
-
My guildie was kicked from a FP because he has 15k hp. He was waiting in that queue for 2 hours.
HM FP's are for gearing, you do them because you need gear. GEAR IS NOT AN ISSUE.
Why didn't you help out your guildie then?
-
@OP
Were you the one got kicked?
-
Its a game. Certainly its frustrating if you cannot play when you want, but surely there are other and better things to do with your time?
Of course!
If you look close enough there's always more important things to do!
But I paid my sub.
I work full time.
I dont mind 1 maintenance per week or occasionally 2.
But now it's taking away 3/5 weekdays of my play time in one week...
-
Well, guildies planned to do an operation tonight...Because last night was getting too late...
-
If there's any lesson to be learned here, it's read the ToS before you actually sign it.
Are you saying there's another humancentipad agreement there?!
-
I prefer we get at least a day or two play time back.
Just being hopeful.
-
Don't let the minority of Oceanic players who are complaining fool you, most of us in this part of the world are laid back enough to not give a hoot about the timing of these updates.
You don't work full time, do you?
-
The gear drop is the same as the 8 man ones.
The 'more' bit is not really 'more'. In a 16 man you just get 2x more gears than the 8 man one.
So doing a two 8 man one is the same.
Guildies did do 16 man ones for fun.
But if we do gear runs, guildies don't feel like doing the 16 man cos it's no incentives for them in terms of gears.
-
I agree with OP.
Because there were a few times we had enough ppl in guild to do 16 man ops. But most of them were asking what's the difference, etc. I told them it's the same just 2x more loots than the 8 man ops.
They said 'uhmm so what's the point?! Isn't it the same just doing 2x 8 man ops?'
Though 16 man is more fun and bonding with guild members.
Most players I know would prefer just to do the 8 man one because like the OP said, not enough incentive...
Why The Deluxe Edition Don't Get More Cartel Coins Than Then Standard Edition?
in General Discussion
Posted
So... You get:
1000 Cartel Coins - Purchasers of the Collector's Edition
Heroes' Banner - Purchasers of the Collector's Edition
You do realise that the Collector's Edition is not sold in every country right?!
For those who get the choice of Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition, you don't give any Cartel Coins reward for the Deluxe Edition buyers?
What a waste of money to get the Deluxe Edition....
