  1. No. We get what you're trying to say, however from what I've read so far, I along with 100% of the posts think you're idea is moot. Here's why: If you want versatility, there are 6 of the 8 advanced classes to choose from. Gunslingers (being your pure ranged dps) and Sentinels (being your pure melee dps) are your pure dps classes, for people who want to do just that - dps. As for 'just respecing and being something totally different' you forgot the gear required to be something 'totally different' ie. that's whole other set of gear I have to maintain. No thanks. Especially for end game pve. As someone mentioned before, I left my pally back in that game that shall not be mentioned for a reason. No if I feel like tanking I'll go jump on my Guardian or Vanguard, if I want to heal ill play my Sage or Scoundrel. Sorry, but dumb idea is dumb. Leave the advanced classes variety as they are (fine) and go re-roll another class. /end rant
  2. Well done on the guide, very well presented. I dont really agree with any of your builds though, but it will all need an overhaul with 1.2 on its way, so waiting for that to land before I'll post my preferred build. My two cents are as follows: maybe I missed it, but there is no mention of accuracy as a stat to stack also? Considering accuracy = greater chance to hit (even lowering the targets defence when over 100%) I would consider it relevant to our dps and therefore threat? Also with 1.2 on the horizon, you can pretty well remove command from the mandatory list of talents.
  3. I think you will find this on the case on all classes. I levelled my JK Guard as my first toon and found Alderaan just as you did, I went and did PvP for a two levels to give myself a bit of a level buffer. As for companions, personally I preferred T7 over Kira and definitely gearing him up makes him a beast companion until Doc. Also I can't stress enough, keep your gear up to date, along with using the max STR Adrenal (seeing as you're bio) for that extra dmg, you will see a difference using them. The JK is one of the harder classes to master in this game and is still my favourite, I urge you to stick with it as the class gets better and better as you level, once you unlock Doc you pretty much have zero downtime and it becomes much more enjoyable.
  4. I think the solution to this problem is quite a simple one... 1) the 3 piont talent Pacification: additional to the damage increase, they should make each point produce 20/40/60% more threat of each of those abilities also. 2) as someone has already mentioned, increase soresu form to 100% instead of 50% 3) I would like to see some ability that can help us group ranged targets up, working opposite to force push, drawing enemies toward us and into melee range.
