  1. I think the GTN system should have bid and ask. You should be able to place buy orders with a maximum cap and sell orders with a minimum as well. yeah -- okay Eve online is like that but it can be improved upon.
  2. I suggest unit testing, system testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and quality assurance. Sure, these are foreign concepts for some developers. But, it might likely improve the patching process of SW:TOR.
  3. Well, since my opinion on the CS forum is being ignored - since the bug is a feature - I'll post my plee here in this thread. As the OP requests, unfix this bug immediately back to pre-1.2 state. I love the facemask my Sith Mara wears and enjoy seeing it on him! What's up with the devs of this game introducing annoying feature after bad feature instead of fixing actual bugs or testing patches before being applied to the public server? This is just plain ludicrous.
  4. Microtransations.. what would I like to see? None If MTs are implemented (subscription or not) I'm cancelling, deinstalling, and cleaning SW:TOR bookmarks. If I wanted to pay to win I'd have gone with the numerous models of that already out there.
  5. Exactly! WoW never requires any add-on since it workds well as shipped. However, I play with at least 9 add-ons at all times. I like them because they make my experience changeable as I wish. Add-ons will not break a game, only make it more versatile.
  6. Fixed? LOLOLOL My sith mar has a mask that never shows regardless of hood/armor worn. It can't be seen even though it modifies my voice and gives stats. So, yeah... no - it's not fixed.
  7. Revert the face gear change to pre-1.2 Bioware. That's all I have to say. Working as intended is not an option for me.
  8. Having all the glitches fixed would impress me enough to stay for several more months. Missing half mask headgear on my marauder Bad colorings in conversation scenes Chiss not being blue in convos Missing or silver eyeballs in convos Partners companion having no armor update in convos (Khem Val) Convos taking 3 to 6 minutes to start (waiting for teammates sucks) Phasing (ship/planet/elevator/convo) taking very long and sometimes hanging up Lack of responses other than (I'll kill them all) or (I'm the best) Lack of real consequences for decisions - it's a railroad with a few short side tracks Voices cutting out Crashes to desktop while in combat and anywhere Just to name a few. I keep hearing promises, just no results.
  9. I have Jaessa dressed in the slave outfit from Cantina Social vendor.
  10. That was a very enjoyable little short film. I liked it alot.
  11. None of my less than full headgear shows up in my sith pureblood.
  12. Thanks. I'll just take the almost 45 minutes it takes to log in all 6 of my alts then. It wouldn't even have been an issue were it not for the horrendous time it takes for SW:TOR to actually log in a character. Worse yet - my machine is like 5 times faster than my wife's. It takes her anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to log in the first toon. Each one after that seems to double the amount of time we spend watching the static screen with the swiddly gear bits in the corner. When she quits the game - lol - the screen just freezes for about 10 minutes then goes to the desktop. She is going to cry when she finds out that's what we have to do.
  13. So Bioware, I have 7 toons on Droogas Pleasure Barge including my level 34 Sith Mar who started the legacy. Now that patch 1.2 is out I can create my legacy tree. R....ight... Only problem there is not one of my lower level toons in either faction appears in that box of relatives to add to the tree. And that nice piece of legacy weapon.. useless. I can't send it to any alt since none of them are or can me made part of my legacy. Oh sure they all got my name. That was set up prior to the patch. Now the legacy is pretty muchy useless and stupid. Why did I bother anticipating this release with so much expectancy?
  14. I guess SWTOR has no shortage of 'genderists' in it's community. *shrugs* too bad really.
  15. Jaessa Willsaam 100% Malavai Quinn 0% (backstabbing, suck up) Vette 0% (Whiney, goody-two-shoes pistol girl who I can't stand)
  16. I can't believe how beliggerent that vette has gotten since I removed her collar. Now I just wish there was an option to put it back on her. Oh well... It's not like real life where that would be a given.
  17. Yellow main hand - Red off hand. Main reason: @lvl 31 I can't or haven't found any better crystals of any other color. Really, I have to wonder if this game is even trying to give us options. I've had to get an Artificer to make these for me. They just don't drop anywhere in game.
  18. Bump +1. Zooming in only half-automatic.. IOW braindead!
  19. Seems to me that Qyzen and some of the other Aim-based companions would benefit from a system that replaces "barrel" with something like "techbody". Techblades and blasters could then just use techody as the base stat which would be either Aim or Cunning based. So this midification for modables would just have one change. Replace barrel with techbody 1. Techbody 2. Crystal 3. Mod 4. Enhancement 5. Augment (optional) Now you can have an orange techbglade or techstaff.
  20. Yes, all that I noticed too. Those saddled whale-birds on Alderaan they use for taxis exhibit the vary same wobble in relation to the character sitting on them. It's like the bird goes up while I slam into the saddle, then the taxi drops and I rise up. It just looks wierd.
  21. I still have a WoW account that is active even though I don't play much. I'm waiting for MoP to be released since my level 85s are bored of doing dailies and I am not much for the Cata raids and dungeons. I like the Star Wars feel of this game, really. I wish I could continue to subscribe to this game because over all it is fun and the stories are interesting (at least the first time around.) However, at this point it is so unplished that I have to give it a low score on release. I'll point out a few places where I'm picky. 1) Zoning in WoW is almost completely transparent on all PCs. Whether it be the zeppelins or the portals, there is never any noticible delay. Going into buildings and into and out of instances feels instantaneous. However, SWTOR is unplayable on my wife's PC as quests/missions require her to wait up to 5 - 7 minutes to start playing the conversations, to get into her ship, to get out of her ship, getting out of elevators and ending conversations to that she can be ready for the ensuing fight. 2) WoW flightpaths make perfect sense and have all been tested. Yesterday on Alderaan we learned to a new flight point and it had no connecting light paths. Nothing on our map indicated where the missing flightpoint was. When we finally did discover it, we flew back from the main hub and the taxi actually went through a solid rock and a building (granting some quest along the way - not sure which one. But it was possibly H2+) and kept flying where it should have crashed. 3) Crafting is horribly hard compared to WoW mainly due to having to send companions on missions which are not even available. For example I need Underworld Compound. I send a companion to get some. They return after using my money and fail (Master, I exceeded your expectations??!!??), Only now I go to send them again or send another companion and all I see in Underworld Gifts! Underworld gifts I don't need nor want and no choice for UW compound or metal!!! I have to sometimes craft 25 to 35 of a green item to get a blue recipe. Now all my mats are gone and the recipe is useless until I farm some more. 4) Only 3 skills allowed and most require a fourth skill to even level, Slicing is needed to get many aspects for each skill but if you take it you can't craft without resorting to GTN or player trading. 5) Armormech would be the obvious choice to making armoring. But, not in SWTOR. You need Cybertech. Armormech is actually the most useless of all skills as you can only make 2 things. Heavy or Medium armor. Completely unbalanced skill so why take it? 6) Most crafting skills can make augmentable items. But, augments are nearly impossible to find. GTN is useless for finding any. Without slicing, forget it! 7) You can't even begin to make the much needed enhancements for lower levels until you level Artifice well beyond the point where it's useful for your lower level. 8) Modification venders don't sell so many of the mods/enhancements I spent so much time collecting those commendations for. So many are endurance heavy and primary stat light. I have to get a Cybertech to make me decent mods even though I have earned the commendations. 9) Social points are useless for anything both a light armor wearer. Why bother having social items vendors as their just taking up space? 10) Combat is slow sluggish... example: I stunned a mod with a stun dart while he was standing still outside agfro range. The mob jumps 30 meters to stand in my face and then jiggles in stunned shock??? I kill a mob and he stands there as if carbonited. He doesn't fall to the ground 70% of the time. Many times I kill a mob and I see his health bar empty and he's still fighting for another 3 seconds and then freezes for falls dead. Completely unrealistic physics. 11) Finding datacrons that require jumping!!! Don't even get me started. My avatar sits there until .8 seconds after I press space bar. But, then he slowly jumps up. I've spent literally hours getting to a single datacron for crizzake. 12) Log in out times for my wife's PC takes her 5 minutes. No other game she plays takes that long to show the opening screen. 13) Random crashes to dektop, random freezes, wrong tooltips, (my Sith Warriors opening screen just keeps saying "Missing Codex Entry: xxxx"), the list go on and on. Vettes collar.. it's on, it's off, no it's on again, it's off again??? Check the conversation screens in holocams and such. Is that so hard? Missing eyeballs and all back outfits on people in conversations? Glitchy shadows? All of the above and more competely turn me off on this game even though I am a total Star Wars fanatic. I will continue playing until I get one of my 7 toons to level 50. But, I don't know if I can in any good concience continue subbing after that. THe storylines seems a bit thin in some places and I really wonder if any of my choices/decisions have any impact on the ending. All this said, I hope developments continues and things get fixed and working better.
  22. It would be so cool to have a medication to prevent you from becoming a Rakghoul. THen they could implement something like a temporary transformation from getting infected after so many stacks and you would become a mindless creature attacking friendly NPCs and mates until it wore off. It would almost be like the Lichking came to SWTOR! The Ghouls of WoW when the RotLK patch was released made it worthwhile to play for that period. Then it ended. boohoo... that was back in the day when DKs were heroic.
  23. I've put about 75 different items on the GTN on my server in the last week at GTN suggested prices including 0% markup. About 68 of them after 48 hours got returned to me. These include greens, blues, and a few purples. Only the purples tend to sell. I've gone there on numerous occasions to look for mats for crafting, too. Too bad the only mats there seem to be to 350 to 400 crafting. I'm not there yet. And even if I were, I wouldn't find enough to keep me busy. Oddly, when there are any mats for low-mid level crafting, they seem to be put in at ridiculous prices. Like 3450c for a piece of plasteel. Yeah, the GTN leaves a lot to be desired. I want to be able to place orders on the GTN. But, that would be too eve-like.
