You play for your personal success, this is addictive and battery charging. Have you ever defended your ALt from criticism like their your own property? Have you ever just thought I could stop now but I owe it to my Alt to get it to next level or a certain statging area? The game becomes part of you it feeds on that human failure 'we never have enough and we want more'.

i play Arma II online, sometimes 32 can play on one side and no lag. 16v16 no lag. Including vehicles and so on. In some MP missions its your squad versus 100s of spawning enemies, spawning through scripts so theyre not in actuall game world at that time. This could be a consideration for flashpoints and spawning. That way we can play in larger grould than 4 without lag. Sadly it wont happen, game engine thus far limits it.

Personally speaking, I hate reading and trawling information to find something that I want thats jsut there, got images and explanations. I was thinking of doing my own website when I was playing this game regularly to explain PvP. Perhaps I can pass this concept onto you.. I was hoping to make a PvP section guide. PvP where it is, what it is (BASICS), how do I access it. What are the rules, what are the pitfalls and how can I not look like a noob in PvP. There is so much info out there but it takes ages to compile it all. Perhaps a PvP section doing this on your website would be awesome. EDIT: Actually just looked further at saw your FP section. GW1 is still my personal benchmark for all MMOs. The complete companion system, Capping at level 20 and then seeking special boss kills to capture elite skills. Only have a panel of 10 skills to choose for battles making it strategic. Long quests forming friendships with humans, Villanry Of galrath being one of them. Tidy bloom visuals and easy to pick up mission storys. Crafting, arrmour sets, trade, Multi expansions and FREE TO PLAY. GW2, hell yeah...... I was hoping this game would live up to my ideal. Visually this game does, and the light saber noise sells it well.... I once played GW1 for 29 hrs straight. Ive never played this more than 4hours. My opinion of what I grew and developed. SWTOR to single player, solo-ing and grind for me to enjoy.

You know deep down what the choice is, go with the gut. I unsbubbed just so I can save my funds until future updates. Its been 3 days since I last played and Ive not missed it at all. Thats how I knew it was right.

Problem being many doomsayers carry momentum and thrive to create a mystique of an apparent collapse of a MMO. Figuratively the momentum can refer to the tendency of a person or group to repeat recent success: “This game is epic fail, has no epeem and is reported to be failing.” Said enough times it gains momentum, momentum becomes a whisper, to rummour and eventually I believable state. Once this starts in any routine business a PR team counter-attacks these claims and spins out positive energy about their business. There isnt at times enough positive PR reaction from MMo's devs who at times can neglect public opinion thinking its a minority. (Probably resulting in their collapse). As for topic, I feel im burned out of MMos and need a rest, at least till May

Recently my sub ended. I decided not to renew at this time. But does anybody know if........... 1) My account will continue to stay where it is and wont get wiped if I dont come back for a few months? 2) My account has ALTS in rested zones, even if Im not subbed would those alts have gained XP on return?

FROM BEYOND,,,, Hey my sub ran out and I can still post, cool... Anyway, It ran out and Im out of the game. I will watch forums waiting for news of reaction to 1.2 post release then wait for news on server switching. Once that happens my sub will be renewed. I jsut gave up playing on low pop server, a RP server with no concept of RP and many more things. I made 8 alts and I dont want to re'roll anymore........

yes, agree, my sub ran out yesterday (yet i can still post here, cool) and the server I was on only had 2 instances I witnessed of RP in 1 month sub. After leveling alts there and no server transfer I just had enough. Even when on flashpoint there was no RP on loot of boss. Just GREED GREED GREED. Not "This item would suit you Jedi, on your journey with the force".... I got so sick of spam for help and not RPing help questings, no RP at all. WHY JOIN A RP server. This was the final straw of why i left. I will keep tabs on here to check out 1.2 and wait for server switching. If that comes back I will return my sub.

Forums are filled with threads that serve no purpose. Ive posted a few myself out of boredom. The forum should only be an information section and have only 1 part where consumers can reply to asking devs questions. The rest should close. How many topics go past 3 pages before it becomes a chinese whispers rant, OP point has been forgotten. For this purpose the community would be healthier if the forums were closed. Let the haters create their own forums. Let them vent to each other.

3 months for a major update, is that bad? in global terms of how long a MMo takes to create? 1.2 will come out then weeks after will be 1.2 bug fixes and updates. Im in no doubt that BW has 1.3. 1.5 1.6 already worked out or has plans in place. Theyre not gonna openly discuss them until nearer the time. Why give away your concepts for other MMOs to follow. Although sayin that this game as a unique aspect its following Star Wars lore. So early info on updates im sure wouldnt harm us. The problem will always remain. If you grind and grind you will end up bored, you will rush the next patch and contents then moan your bored again. MMO world is pretty bleak when it comes to patience. Think of anims, models, encounters, variables, testing, renders, sounds. All takes time, im sure some devs work very long hours as theyre so passionate about what they create. Lets hope they dont ever take time out to read on here.

This game will last, it has to compete with others. WoW for so long didnt really have a rival and its time to break that cycle. Competition will make this better and WoW better. So as consumers we are in a win win situation although just read thi An Elder Scrolls MMO could be announced as early as May according to a report on Tom’s Guide.
