  1. I had this issue on Corellia doing the Trooper quest line. There is a quest where you gather warriors from several resistance groups together to mount a big raid. About half the guys in the groups looked exactly the same; haircut, face, outfit. I thought I was recruiting a clone army.
  2. I'm sure it's somewhere on the to-do list. Just remember that it took WoW about 3 years to implement; it wasn't something that was there out-of-the-box.
  3. This suggestion is several weeks late. The servers have merged, the names have been assigned. No point to go back & start fixing things now. What if 2 people on the same server have a name that they "can't lose"; things are in exactly the same place they were.
  4. 1) Keybind to bring up Codex 2) Keybind to toggle Enable Focus Target
  5. Your idea that they could squeeze it in to a release of the game that is nearly finished is ridiculous, not the idea of providing new wardrobe items. People with absolutely no background in software development think "oh, it's just a tiny change, you can do it." That's not the way development cycles work. I would like the ability to put my hood down on some of my toons, but if it doesn't come out for a while, I really don't care.
  6. Yes, the 5 min wait period is annoying when you got toggled by accidentally wandering into an enemy zone for a few seconds, but the potential for griefing and abuse if they removed the wait period well justifies it.
  7. If you can choose to have the hood up or down, why would you care if the default of the robe is hood down? Also, the idea that they could squeeze it in 1.5 is ridiculous. 1.5 is nearing the end of its development, and is already on the PTS or will be soon. Even if it was a trivial change, which the post explains it's not, you think they can just stop the development cycle to make the change, and completely screw up the schedules & QA? Sheesh
  8. danpen, really, read the posts before you reply. He was suggesting that the Guild Master's alts be auto-added, not the alts of other members.
  9. How would it break the game if you are able to QT while moving? It would still have the activation delay, couldn't be used in combat, and would still have a 24-30 min cooldown. Also, the /stuck command is absolutely necessary. There are holes & areas all over the game where you can get stuck & can't get out.
  10. We need the ability to have an active companion while on our ship for at least two things: 1) Comparing gear stats. I often have a bunch of future gear in my Cargo Hold, and I want to see how it compares with the gear each companion is wearing. Having the pop-up give me the stat differences is helpful. Yes I can do it on a planet, but it's often more convenient to do things like that on my ship. 2) Give companion gifts. Often, I will have sent my companions off on missions that return gifts before logging off on my ship. I log on, and I have some gifts to give out. I have to leave my ship to summon companions to give them their gifts. Then, the kicker is, that due to the affection level increase I get, I then have to return to my ship to have the conversation with the companion to advance their story line. Sometimes, as I'm getting near the end of the companion's story line, I have to repeat the leave ship/enter ship routine a few times, as I don't want to waste gifts giving the comp more affection than needed to get to the next point in the story.
  11. You cannot use Quick Travel or the Fleet Pass (or I assume any other form of travel) if your character is moving. Normally this would not be an issue, but last night I was helping someone that got stuck in such a way that he was constantly in motion. /stuck wouldn't get him out, and he couldn't use any travel abilities to get out because he was moving. I finally was able to get him out by dueling him & blasting him out with an Overload (Force Wave), but there could be cases where that would not work. Barring that, figure out a way to improve the stuck system. Too often it does not get one out until the 2nd or 3rd try, for which you have to wait a few minutes.
  12. No way, name changes should be difficult, and cost real-world money. If name changes were easy & cheap (anything in-game becomes fairly cheap as you level high enough), people would get out of lousy reputations by quickly changing their name. Just as a reference, WoW took years to add this feature, and it cost $25 to do it.
  13. Since the entire thing has to be pre-programmed and recorded in advance, there would not be much suspense or spontaneity. It would be a huge amount of development work for a one-off event.
  14. Not a bad idea, but it can't be based on server resets, it would have to be on a set schedule. There are some weeks where the servers are not reset, and sometimes in emergencies where they may be reset more than once in a given week. It would be highly unfair to some guild to bid for a board, then lose it the next day because there was an unexpected server reset.
  15. I remember when guild levels were introduced in WoW. It's a great system for an established guild, but it basically kills the ability to create new guilds. Before guild levels, a brand new guild was effectively the same as a guild that was years old; all it took was a group of people to start a new guild, and they could attract good players who wanted a change from the guild they were in. Once guild levels came in, even people that were not that happy with their guild were reluctant to leave a high level guild with all the perks and join one that was starting out. I'm not saying there shouldn't be guild levels, but they do have a serious drawback.
