  1. Why, oh why, oh why do you, BioWare, force me, humble, paying me, to put effort in playing my class and play in a balanced, communicating team, only for me to be as good as those who actually put effort in playing their class and play in a balanced, communicating team? I did not ask for this, BioWare. I did not ask to cooperate with strangers when I bought this - so deceivingly called multiplayer - game. I did not ask to be worse than those who make an effort of being good. I mean, yesterday I watched this football match. One team were seasoned hobby players who layed out a strategy and trained for weeks and then, on the field, communicated and signaled each other. The other team were just some random guys who though it would be fun to play this little random match. It all ended in an equal score, why can't this happen in your game, too, BioWare? So, you see, this is why I quit. If football would be that unfair, you can bet I'd immediately stopp watching and playing it. Really, BioWare, get a life. What you did is far from any reality.
  2. Let me just ask this one question: In which way do bots farming credits in Boarding Party diminish your gaming experience? They don't steal those credits from you, they get them from their own instance. They don't whisper you about how they are so much more uber than you because they solo Boarding Party. They don't force you to buy their credits. So, tell me, how do actions that don't affect you in any way ruin the game for you?
  3. fixed 3's not big, it's bulky/muscular.
  4. I'm okay with the current level of graphics. I'm more annoyed by the similarity between the Republic and the Imperial fleet. They must have hired the same architect ^^
  5. As an assassin tank, I mostly use discharge, wither and force lightning and occasionally shock and saber strike (yes, dismissing double strike is viable). For threat, wither and discharge are the most important, thus should be supported by a huge load of willpower. Also, any class that stacks strength/willpower/aim/cunning without it beeing the class's primary atribute is doing something wrong. The gain just doesn't justify the loss. Assassins needed strength in the beta to bolster melee, but that has been changed. The lack of craftable +willpower shields is most likely a bug, just like the non-reverse engineerable foci.
  6. I know what you mean. My BH gets way to few "What's in it for me?" options... There should always be a neutral option, me thinks.
  7. As much as I'd like to see Cathar as a playable species, I find the current Cathar horribly ugly. There are two types of humanoid aliens: those that almost look like humans and those that dont. SWTOR's Cathar are somewhere in between. Like a manly man in a pink dress pretending to be a feminine woman these Cathar just don't look right. I'd prefer the more animalistic Cathar faces (like this) instead of the current wannabe Cathar.
  8. And make it turn based. Not everyone has the super reflexes to time button pressing with the gcd.
  9. Just remove combat as a whole, Empire and Republic should have Olympic games to see who's the strongest.
  10. Yes, we need more armor that shows men's skin A friend of mine wears the slave girl top to her normal asassin equip and it looks beautiful. If I want a similiar effect with my male assassin I have to take his chestpeice of, which depletes me of stat boni and he looks more as if he forgot half of his clothes rather than wearing something revealing. As for actual armor: chespieces on females often bare arms and belly, on males no skin whatsoever. Then it's time that they damn well should be
  11. I'd say a toggle is unnecessary. Just like all the other dialogue choices: If you don't want you character to say them, don't choose them. Don't want your Sith Sorcerer to be a goody two shoes? Don't pick the goody two shoes answer. Don't want you Sith Sorcerer to flirt with men? Don't pick the flirt answer. OR make everything toggleable that someone doesn't like. Voilent answers, red hair, black skin... Sorry people, but if someone doesn't want to be remembered that homosexuality exists, they shouldn't leave their cosy little community and venture into the wide, wide world where many things are not to our liking.
  12. I'm bored with the hulky warrior men and the thin support women. They are everywhere, wherever you look, and they are just no fun anymore. Also, men in games are rarely attractive if you aren't into grim faced, mid-aged heaps of muscle (see what I did there, blizzard?). Thus, I prefer to play strong women in heavy armor with huge weapons and youthful men emphasis on magic or agility than sturdiness and raw strength.
  13. Not everyone playing dark side does so because "I'z eevulz ololololol!!!!!!111oneoneeleven" I play my characters like I think they would behave if the situation was real. My BH takes every job that earns her money, but doesn't deviate from an objective no matter how much she is promised to get to do so. It just happens that most choices are "Do your job and earn DS points" or "Betray your client and earn LS points". This character was never ment to be of any particular alignment, she's just a "victim" of the game's design. On the argument that we want to play our characters different than our RL: Is LS really to RLy? Who does something beneficial to others (complete strangers even, not friends or family members) without beeing promised or expecting anything in return? Far less people than those who shout insults at just about anyone or practise some sort of -ism, I imagine.
  14. I'm a great fan of anthropomorphic reptiles since I visited Morrowind in my early gaming days. As such, I'd love to see the Tiss'shar as a playable species. Apart from the (rather moronic looking) Trandoshans, they are about the only reptilian looking species in SW. Unfortunately, SW:TOR is at least half a millennium too early and the Tiss'shar have not jet been discovered by the Republic/Imperium and their bodies don't exactly fit the standard humanoid skeleton.
  17. Just practising some necromancy here... I'm a bit surprised that this thread has zero replies, even though it's about an annoying detail (people love to focus on minor details, don't they ). I assume adding two context menu items which trigger "/inv <name>" etc. shouldn't be very complex, so I hope someone at BW finds a spare minute to do it. It would make socializing much more comfortable.
  18. If the people who watch over the forums are the same people who program and fix bugs, your argument might just be valid. If you want the people who watch over the forums to program and fix bugs... Well, let's just say nothing good will come of that. Also, I approve of same sex flirt opportunities.
  19. RL: I'm a software engineer in training. In game: I currently play a Sith Assassin tank. Why? I'm in love with healing, but I play with a couple of friends who have up to no mmorpg experience. So I, having played a bit of WoW during 2011, took on the tanking job.
