  1. I am a serving member of the military and was quickly deployed on Ops and will be for some time. I was checking my bank account today and saw the recurring subscription fee had been taken out of my account. I cancelled future payments but would like to know how/if I can go about getting a refund. I have not played the game for months and will not be able to for the foreseeable future. I will not and can not log in and having 173 day on my subscription is obviously a waste of money. However I can not see anywhere how I would go about claiming a refund. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. Thank you.
  2. I am so demoralised as a Republic player on Progenitor that I can't even be bothered to fight. I just want to sit there, move once a minute to stop my self getting kicked and get my minimal comms so I can buy some equipment. I don't even see the point in moving because you get so stomped you can't even learn the game. The only matches I can be bothered with are Republic vs. Republic as those matches are even. The game needs to monitor the win:loss ration on each server and give HUGE expertise bonuses to the faction which is losing a lot. At the end of the day I am an NPC as a Republic player, just points for another person on the other side of the ocean.
  3. "Missable" content being introduced was not fun., had to roll an new character and drag it through to the new missions just because I missed a side quest in a tower and that was before I was given a message about the planet becoming unplayable.
  4. I haven't done that bit yet, that's why I am trying to do this now
  5. Great... so I have to make a new character, get it all the way to this point of the game. Find the one tiny little thing I missed, get the achievement and then delete the character I have not intention of using?
  6. OK Well assuming that I do not have any other characters near this level what is the fastest way I go about getting it?
  7. Wow! That is really poor. I do not have any other characters near this, all I have is one other who is only in Chapter 2 of the Knight story. Who thought this was a good idea?
  8. I missed the "Shut them Down" achievement on Ziost and have now completed the main mission. Is there any way for me to go back and get this?
  9. after a recent cartel coin purchase, I have become very disappointed. I subscribe to the game so I have gotten some cartel coins over time. I have also twice now bought some cartel coins. I had previously used them to buy clothing/armor, star ship parts or star fighters. And overall I felt they were... OK value for money (but not brilliant). My last purchase though was of "Hypercrate: Shipment 2 Contraband Packs". I knew they were a bit of a gamble, but I was hoping to get the "Advance Mint Green Hawkeye Crystal" and maybe to sell the rest of the items and make some in-game cash. However what I ended up with with shockingly poor. Probably at best I will make 300-500k from it. For £24, the cost of a new computer game... this is quite ridiculous. I admit this was entirely my fault and I was quite naive, I have been stung lesson learned. I know though that I will get no kind of refund. I would not ask for the money back, but I would ask for the cartel coins back, so I can purchase something that gives better value for money, but I know that won't happen. So it is with regret that I must cancel my subscription. I had been paying it since the game came out, even in months that I did not play. I shall just view this purchase as paying for my next 3-4 months subscription fee, this way I will at least feel I got some value from the purchase. I would ask that you show the player base some respect in in the future and refrain from selling these kinds of items. As it really is a form of gambling and I feel these items should be treated as such and governed by gambling laws. However I doubt this will happen. It would be nice to be able to buy these items directly, it really is a shame that the option to is not available. I will resume my subscription fee in the future, after a time where I feel I have made the money back from my naive purchase. Regards
  10. I have just started doing the 55 Ops. I went to do a full run for Terror from Beyond. However 1/4 of the group quit after doing the "Weekly" part, after a few hours we managed to get some people for the last 2 bosses. We fought them, got past the first and onto the second but lost a few times, then people gave up and left. Leaving my Op at the final boss. Apparently now I can not join another group and run through it again, I can not reset my progress on the story, so I either sit around for hours hoping there a slim chance people will shout for the final boss. Or I have to wait 1 whole week for it to reset? And the same damn thing may happen next time to? Meaning if someone were to have really bad luck, they may never be able to fully complete this Op? I do not see the point in this, all I want to do is complete the story for this and clear the mission "Terror from Beyond" from my list, but it may never happen? And now I have to sit around for a week irritated and stressed due to some bizarre weekly limit? My OCD is telling me to complete this mission now, now, NOW! And I can't! Once I start something it has to be finished! Having others stop me from doing this is frustrating beyond belief! Just how am I meant to complete this?
  11. I have been playing star wars game since I was a kid. X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Rogue Squadron, even the poor excuses for an X-Wing clones that existed is Star Wars Galaxies. I used to play X-Wing Alliance on MSN Gaming Zone, I was half decent. I enjoyed them all for the most part and to me GSF most resembles Rogue Squadron but... It is just god awful! And so horribly unbalanced! I have played 12 matches now and lost 10 of them! And they are not close losses for the most part, it is more like 5 points to the Republic 800 to the Imps. It is just not fun! I am only there to add points to some other players stats whilst mine take a horrible nose dive! And can I reset my score sheet? Nope! Way to rub my nose in the fact I am bad! And it is not like I am learning anything! I will fly along, heading towards the enemy when suddenly something pops up behind me from out of nowhere, even though I have been spaming the target closest enemy button (which just never seems to work, I can see a player 4000m in front of me why is it targeting the turret 20,000m away?). The boom I die in like 1-2 hits! On the off chance that I do get to shoot at something the controls are so god awful for me I can not hit a thing! On the off chance I do hit someone it does no damage! Whilst me yep, still getting 2 shotted from everyone and their dog from 7000m away. How about letting people get some practice in? Set up some PVE scenarios that actually teach the game, maybe with an instructor giving a voice over explaining whats happening? Get people used to the controls and play against increasing odds where enemies get more numerous and evasive? That is once of the most basic things X-Wing Vs. TIE Fighter did. You started off facing a single TIE Fighter that flew in a straight line, then it started doing basic maneuvers, then shooting back at you, then 2 TIE Fighters, going to 3, then getting TIE Interceptors, followed by TIE Advanced. I would say give us game pad controls, it would make things a lot easier for me, but i figure I am doing something horribly wrong since others seem to kick butt with the mouse and keyboard but I just can't figure it out.
  12. Would it be to much to ask for a complete mission list under the codex? I LOVE doing quests and missions but it is impossible to keep track of what you have and have not done. I hate the thought that I may have missed one mission or another on some planet somewhere and something like this would make it possible to make sure they are all complete. It is not about experiance points I just want to make sure that by the end of the game I have done 100% of the missions avalible to my class. I would also like some sort of warning system that tell you your about to finish a mission and that doing so will mean you can not complete the bonus missions. I was just doing the Balmorra Bonus Series 1 missions. I started doing "The Hunt for Lord Tharsis" bonus segments of these missions but hit a road block, so had to put it on the back burner untill I could find some other players to help. I then carried on with the rest of the bonus series 1 missions, talked to a NPC and poof the series was complete and I lost the bonus mission I had been working on this is VERY anoying. I can now never do this mission on my consular! This is frustrating beyond words, it is bad enough having missable content in a single player games but atleast you can revert to old saves if need be. For me now the only way I could reget this mission would be to roll a new character, which with me being level 40 is out of the question. Again if there were a "Mission Codex" segment this could solve this problem as you could choose to reset and repeat all missions. So please give us a Mission Codex segemt like we have for just about everything else.
  13. I love using my force powers and love being a Sage however I would like to use my light saber a little bit more. I also feel like a wally when I am being the "Tank" in solo missions and Tharan is the healer only to have mobs run up to me and start hitting me whilst I just stand there and throw pebbles. What I would like to see: 1. Have your basic light saber attack, which costs no force as we currently have. 2. Lose "Double Strike" and instead have the double strike animation play if you use "Project" on an enemy less than 5m away. 3. Gain a sort of flurry of blows animation (an animation with 4 light saber strikes in quick sucession) for when you use "Telekenetic Throw" at less than 5m away. This way you are using your light saber some of the time but no game mechanic changes are needed, just a change of animation when an enemy is at 5m or less. I do not see why anyone would have a problem with this?
  14. Is no one able to help give me an idea where these items may be? I hate the fact I may have missed quests/items. I looked through all of the comments section on Torhead but still have had no luck finding where these missing items are.
  15. I like obtaining all my differnt armors and keeping them from the quests we are given (even though the become useless), I know I don't need to but it is an old RPG habbit I have (Always keeping hold of items you can only get one of/are missable). I have tried to hit every avalible quest I find however I still seem to have missed some pieces of armor set along the story route. Could people tell me where to find the following? I would use Torhead but almost everything listed on that site is wrong. Traditional Themoweave Set: Gloves Noble Jedi Sage's Set: Headgear, Bracers Traditional Lasha Silk Set: Lower Robe, Boots Anointed Dramssian Silk Set: Boots Unfortunatly my Taris Bonus Mission got bugged so one or two pieces may be in there, but that can't count for all of those pieces. Right now I am level 33, I have complted everything on Tatooine and am currently working on Nar Shada Bonus Missions before going to Alderan. And yes finding room for all this armor is a pain, I wish there were an option like in Final Fantasy XI where you can store full armor sets.
