It's beneficial to take some time and read through your abilities to understand what abilities would work best in a given situation. I found this helpful because you can better utilize your abilities rather than randomly clicking abilities. If you go into your preferences and use "interface editor" you can adjust and move your actions, abilities, displays, etc., so that you can organize and see your abilities and stats easier and more comfortably.
