  1. The Master/Slave thing was to do with how the old IDE hard drives worked. They could have 2 drives on each connector. When using 2 drives you set 1 of them to master and the other to slave. It didn't really matter which way around they went, as long as they were set to once of each. It made no difference to the OS/software however
  2. On the Razer Naga, the mouse wheel has 3 buttons on it. The normal one for when you click it down, plus you can click it to the left and the right. The left mouse wheel click is defaulted to Num Lock. you can use Razer Synapse to change the bind to something else (or remove it)
  3. when you get to the elites/campions, then your kill order should be the same as the tanks so everyone is focused on the same target so they go down quicker. This is after all the weaker enemies are gone. so in a boss encounter where you might get 3 champions, everyone should be focusing on the same one. Quite often these will be marked in the order they should be killed. If you not sure just ask what mark to kill first
  4. i guess it depends what you want to do endgame. you can do a few FP a week, so if you only play a small amount in a week ,then that could be enough. i think this week i only did 3 which is what you can do as a preferred. If you playing alot you might struggle for end game as u'll soon run out of things to do without buying the passes there are a things you will need to buy to be able to do end game properly thou, like the Artifact equipment unlock and Sector X (if you want to do those dailys) thats enough for you to do the weekly and a few dailys to get some commendations for gear so you should be able to gear up (just abit slower) Operations you cant do without buying a weekly pass
  5. surely nothing is more important than SWTOR ? but seriously, you can level fine as a prefered status there are a few limits but nothing that will stop you from progressing. you get less XP so it might be abit slower but as long as your doing all the side quests along the way, and maybe adding a few heroics here and there you should be just fine. the credit cap wont be noticable when leveling so you wont get close to it until you get close to 50 really and maybe not even then
  6. 2.0 will contain everything for the expansive. the expansion will simply unlock the features. So those with early access get it unlocked first while the others will get the same as everyone else who didn't buy the expansion for those 5 days before unlocking the rest
  7. maybe add instant BiS gear as well so then you wont have to do FP and Ops either
  8. You think thats bad, it took me 4 weeks for Battle of Ilum. not many people want to do the higher level SM FP's as once they get to 50 just go straight to HM. at least with FE there are some people willing to do it for HK still have not done Kaon on SM, and am pretty much permantly queued for it when im not doing anything else (done it alot in HM thou)
  9. i dont see why that should be an issue, what does it matter how long it took to make. afterall, alot of games are in development for years and only last 10 hours or so movies take years to make, but only last a few hours
  10. sometimes the gear might actually come with better mods that you can buy, so it can be worth it. mods like resolve are usually a lower level than the standard ones, so an orange peice with resolve mods on can have high level mods
  11. and even if they are not properly maintaining energy, they still regain at 2%/second on top of that, taking a skill like, Force Storm Vs Orbital Strike with the regain, you can cast orbital strike every 6 seconds, compared to just over 13 seconds for Force Storm
  12. lotro's method wasn't too bad most of the stuff you could buy were just shortcuts. like buying crafting materials, rather than gathering them yourself you could also get store credits by doing quests, rather than buying them. it was difficult to play the game totally free thou, as you only got quests for the first 20 levels and only a small amount of dungeons, that u had to repeat over and over for xp being a sub gave you all the additional quests (minus the expanion) as well as extra store credits each month
  13. theres defiantlly more left to go then have u tried using the ships intercom/holo communitcater and see if that kick starts the plot ? otherwise you could try flying somewhere else, getting off your ship for abit then returning. pretty sure it triggers again on your ship, but its been awhile since i did it. also, there are numerous times where you have to visit the fleet for it to continue, if it says this, dont use the fleet pass, as it doesn't work, you actually have to land on the fleet with your ship so you could try getting in your ship, flying somewhere, then flying back to the fleet
  14. once you get to 50 and finish your class quest it also stays on interlude if not, then check your log book and see if u have a class quest u didn't notice
  15. thats no entirely true they do work, just not all the time some people will see them, and others wont which is where some of the problems come from althou alot of people do still stand in them when they can see it, as always happens in any mmo definatlly something that will need to be looked at thou
  16. did u complete the quest ? as the points wont be added until you complete the quest the conversation was part of
  17. but wouldn't it be better if the dps focus on the same target weak targets first to burn them all down quicker, rather than going after a different one each ? theres a difference with a dps just picking any randon target to attack, than actually working to take out the weak ones first while the tank holds the rest
  18. i remember having an argument once when we wiped had loads of mobs on me and ended up dieing. of course i got blamed for it, and even told that it was my fault i had them on me and i shouldn't be dps'ing told them i didn't do any dps'ing at all, and they couldn't beleive it, as healing doesn't cause any aggro, so i must have been to be getting the attention of the mobs. theres been times when i keep getting told to use cloud mind to get mobs off me. which doesn't really work when its either on CD from a previous mod, or used on a mob no one else has any threat with
  19. i got mine pretty late as i didn't rush the main story and just took it as it came i think i was about 34/35 by the time i got it, possibily even later
  20. i've pre-ordered plenty of games in the past and not been giving anything extra
  21. besides, trying to render and process 2 games at the same time would need some series hardware
  22. no it doesn't, it doesn't even allow higher levels of the same class to go back and help. i really done see the problem, its only 10 levels that u breeze through in a short time, just meet up at level 10 the first part is all story b ased anyways, so it just wouldn't work, as one of them would miss thier story, so u'll end up having to do both places anyways.
  23. surely removing the restriction would make the economy worse, not better no ones going to be buying consumables if everyone can simply buy 1 reusable they'll never need to replace. seems like there adding to the other crafts to make them as viable as biochem to use, then remove that from biochem. personally, all crafts should make something that no one else can get. i liked how they did it in WoW with Sunwell. Most profressions had some gear that was better than anything else, but u had to keep your profression to use LW, Tailoring and BS had the best chest piece, Engineering with the Best helm. Alchemy with the best Trinket, etc
  24. i found it pretty easy leveling as a healer but then i've done pretty much every game as a healer dps can be faster, as you can kill things quicker, but with being a healer, you can at least survive more encounters, so theres less time spent reviving, so it kinda evens out a bit. i tend to use a dps companion, rather than a tank. As i can put out enough dps and heals to kill most mobs before dieing
