Anyone done Lost Island recently? This boss used to be easy once you knew the mechanics. Trying this Veteran mode today and he kicked butt. He kept raging and hitting us for stupid damage. We did fine on the Smash and didn't bug out on the pipe. How do you avoid his rage mode? If it's a timer, we weren't that far into the fight.

I believe this does exist. They call it a Flashpoint or a Tactical.

oh right, like the que pops aren't long enough we have to wait for a balanced team now? Cool, cuz I'd sure love a few more tanks in my party!

How about a stealth scan once in awhile? Or have a gunslinger guard with their +30 X-ray vision, or whatever. Or like other responses say, call incoming and dare your team to come to help. It's hardly a sure win just because a team has stealth on their side. You should not be the one guarding the pylon if you can't stop their cap at least some of the time!

I am not even considering transferring. The people and community on Jung Ma is amazing, truly second to none. Secondly, losing everything our Guild worked so hard to build up (the ship, stronghold, etc.) would be such a heart-breaking loss. We are not the biggest guild, but we put our hearts into everything we have. Starting over just is completely unappealing.

If you want a challenge, solo it with one of your companions. I don't think they are able to kick you.

Well, I spent the better part of 3 hours on Nar Shaddaa getting just one datacron, so I have you beat. And you know what? I'm glad I did it, and I went on to get every datacron on every planet. Was it always fun? Did I cuss and throw things sometimes? Perhaps. They are not actually hidden very well since you can find directions on the internet, so without any challenge to reach them, where's the fun in that? Maybe they should randomly move locations so no one ever knows where they are? I say strap on your boots, set your graphics a little lower, buck-up, quit QQing, and accept the challenge. (p.s. if you didn't like Taris, you should avoid Nar Shadda and Quesh as well)

or at least make the crafted gear not bind on pickup. and while we're talking about it, why not be able to put bound items in the legacy vault? What is my incentive to pay for slots except to transfer gear? If I'm going to have to pay 200k to pull a set of mods, put them in legacy armor, then put the armor in legacy vault, and pay to rip out the mods again to put it in my next toons armor - after all that I think I don't need legacy vault...ijs

Great Idea! I'd love for my Shadow to tank next to my Sage. Also, it eliminates the need to gear up your companion.

I would agree with the OP -or- make more schematics available or the new PVP/PVE gear reverse engineerable. The only valuable thing for synthweavers now is to make augments.

I think the scoundrels, bounty hunters, snipers, and gunslingers out there represent the potential for what lies between factions. A completely third group/faction just means another fleet, which doesn't add to the ambiance.

Along these lines, it would be interesting if a character could just switch factions (aka, loyalties). This probably gives the story line editors convulsions, so perhaps it would be an after Chapter 3 scenario. Although, alternate endings would be fun as well.
