  1. It has a standard load. The server is not full. I have a friend in there now and fleet is the same as always. Server broken.
  2. I hope they just cut all the servers and create a single mega server for US and one for Europe. Its been working for Star Trek Online, I am sure it would work here, assuming they have the tech to do so.
  3. Servers seem dead to me. I just returned to the game to finish up some alts and took a look at http://www.torstatus.net. Not good. Most all of the servers are light population with the exception of The Harbinger having periods of normal load activity. I am surprised that they have not eliminated the servers all together and switched to a single massive server like Star Trek Online does. Queue times for OPS and Heroics are ridiculous. OPS queue took six hours the other day to pop, someone rejected their role and we went back into queue for another three hours...hoping they do something soon about this. They are claiming that new players are flooding into the game, but I do not see this happening. I was around since launch, during the great server merge after almost everyone left the game, before f2p. It looked promising, but in the end, the people left. It is a great single player game for sure, I enjoy the story, but would like to be able to play it as an MMO, group up, complete OPS with guilds or the queue system, but all my guilds have disbanded after everyone quit playing.
  4. I would worry about server population. I lived through the ghost town horror's when the 1st great server merges came along not to far after launch. Server population is dropping fast, and another new movie is not going to change that. Creating 2 mega servers is not going to help either. They need to do what Star Trek Online has done, create one massive server. SWTOR does not have that many active players as it is, one server will help queue times for OPS and heroics. I just recently re subbed to try out the rest of the chapters and to queue for a few ops. I was in an OPS queue for 6 hours before it finally came up, someone declined and I was in queue for another 3 hours before I gave up. This was on a Friday afternoon/night. Heroics are no picnic either...something needs to be done.
  5. There is NO new alert. I have completed all the alerts up to this point. Upon completion, nothing else arrived. that is after logging out for a few hours and checking back.
  6. Since I left SWTOR, I have been back playing RIFT. The dev's like to keep in contact with their player base there. They take a very active role in the forums and via Twitch on a weekly basis. So far, when I have needed to open a ticket, they are often answered within a few hours and answered via /tell messages if I am online. I have been back at that game for 2 months now, and have only experienced 1 minor bug. Lots of content to explore and complete and the leveling process is very smooth. Level scaling is only done when you need it via the Mentor system. I can have a max level 65 friend run me through dungeons for 4 hours and go from 10 to 65 in that time frame. Or you can chose to complete quests and explore everything the game has to offer, including some very interesting story based missions and ride the leveling curve The dungeons (flashpoints), do not auto level scale anyone. When I got to 55, I was able to mentor myself down to level 50 and enter a level 50 dungeon with my friend that was 65. I was getting the full XP that a level 50 would get in there solo so it was very quick. They also have a "sidekick" system that will mentor a low level up to their friends level so that high level content can be completed together. Their F2P system is amazing as well. Not like SWTOR limiting system. You have full access to the game and a nice cash shop with items to buy that are not required to enjoy the game. The graphics when set on high, are smooth, updated and fluid. They have really worked on the game engine since it launched 5 years ago. It puts WoW to shame. I still come by these forums hoping to see some improvement in SWTOR, but so far, nothing that will bring me back. Some things, like the HK-55 weapons and helmet, have pushed me farther away. Just sayin. They have a wardrobe system that is account wide and is used to store the appearance of items you collect during your travels to change the look of your characters. Items that can not be equipped will even appear in there as long as they are in your bag one time upon looting. Their subscription system is called "patron" and is available for a variety of time levels and costs about the same as most other MMO's. Crafting works very well in the game too. I took 3 years off from RIFT after it launched and I am very happy I went back. I just hope that SWTOR fixes their issues, their queue system and gets more content added. :-( The queue system in RIFT works. it works because its multi server wide and multi faction enabled. PVP is a blast and very rewarding. Every class can perform the tank/healer/dps roles. Specs are switchable on the fly at any time depending on what your group needs are which is amazing when stuff happens during the run. An example of this is the Mage class. Mages and every other class like the rogue, cleric and warrior have a selection of different talent trees they can use, depending on what role they want to play. 3 talent trees are used at any one time. The Arbiter mage can tank, the Harbinger mage can melee dps using magic weapons, and heal using dps and debuffs. It is quite interesting. Characters can transfer to other shards (servers) in the click of a button via their portrait in the UI. Chat is cross server enabled as well and segmented into level ranges and trade channels. Worth taking a look at if anything. Just hope something positive happens to SWTOR in the future. Been with this game since launch, suffered the multiple server merges when my servers became ghost towns and now with what is going on with the bugs and lack of any real content. I waited for almost a month for my Agent to be able to complete chapter 10, companions that could not be summoned took ages to fix and the group queue system that just doesn't work because they have not figured out how to make it server wide. And it was nice to be able to run the low level flashpoints without being auto scaled down. There should at least be a toggle for that kind of thing. No longer able to run my low level friends though higher content without being scaled down. It was also nice to be able to run the old flashpoints on my max level just for fun without any effort, but those days are gone. There are many more issues, and people have experienced different ones, but for now, RIFT and STO have my attention. best of luck with your choice
  7. The difference is that those games have the players. SWTOR does not. Can not argue against the OP's point. SWTOR has extremely low player numbers and it is showing in various aspects of the game. Been playing SWTOR since launch myself, not any more, but I can say that it did not have a good launch itself. Did not take long for sever mergers to kick in when the people began to leave. It is happening again and there are very few servers left. Maybe the HK-55 weapons and helmet are scaring people away? Maybe the broken companions (Niko Occar)? The wonderful broken Agent chapter 10 ending? Maybe the lack of content such as NEW raids, PVP and ever shorter stories missions? I am sure others can add to the fact of what is happening to SWTOR.
  8. He's still broke anyways. No need to have him if we can not summon him. Been that way for over a month.
  9. They will run even faster after they are lured here by the 'Free To Play" line. And then they find out just how bad the model is in SWTOR. Probably the worst F2P model in any active MMO on the market. And the most restricting. Even to those that are preferred. It is a joke.
  10. The problem is, that a lot of people rely on group q's. Not everyone wants to repeat the same planetary heroics or sit on fleet crafting all day. This game is an MMO not MSO. The queue system is supposed to provide that atmosphere but it can not. The casual gamer would like to queue up for a story mode raid, or hard mode FP, but end up sitting the queue system for 3 or 4 hours before it pops. When it does, someone almost always rejects their role, and back to square one. There are just not enough players left to queue, and they wont even consider adding cross realm queue's. Even though a multitude of the other games have that functionality.
  11. What is next, HK55's boots? Gloves? Have they run out of ideas for rewards that people actually want? Sorry, but I am not about to turn my character into an HK55 terrible lookalike in what would appear to be a disaster Halloween costume. Enough of the HK55 garbage already. We got him as a companion, it should have ended there. I could not delete my mail fast enough when the ridiculous helmet arrived, and that will not change with the rest of the body parts. I am guessing the chest piece is next. Sorry, not worth my sub anymore. I hope they leave the HK55 stuff alone in the remaining rewards.
  12. Add this bug to the laundry list of all the others...
  13. I have noticed a lot of people are complaining about wait times in queue's for FP's and OPS. Why not just add the ability for all queue's to use some version of cross realm team matching? Seems like a better choice than merging servers.
  14. If that is the only thing that you have to say, you could have just read the post and moved on instead of replying with useless information that in no way contributes to the discussion. I am not going to waste time searching in google just to necro old threads. Thanks, have a great day.
  15. Apparently I was not clear enough in my post. And a few here seem unable of comprehending what I am suggesting. This is a friends list. Not like the current list we have. You can NOT ADD ANYONE without their permission. You would send your FRIEND and invite, that FRIEND would accept that invitation, and in doing so, would add their "legacy" or "username" to your friends list. You will NOT be able to add random people that you seen in chat without their permission. If you have RL friends, people that you consider a game friend, or whatever, this list would make it easy for you to add them so that whatever toon they happen to be on, or whatever, you would have not have to add EVERY SINGLE character name to your list. This is active in many other MMO's right now, and has been for years. Personally, a friend of mine has 11 characters, and everytime I start a new character, I have to pull out a list that I wrote, and manually add all of his characters names. It would be much easier to just send him a friends REQUEST and have him accept it. In doing so, all of his character names are added automatically!
  16. What in the world are you talking about? Just because you talked to me in chat? That has nothing to do with what I am talking about. Read the post sir. This is a FRIENDS LIST. You have to INVITE your friends, people who you play with, people you know irl, etc. It is the same list you have now but you would be global and would have to INVITE people and they would have to accept before they would be on your list. If you have to hide the fact that you are online from your "friends", then maybe they should not be on your list. I don't know about you, but the people on my friends list are RL friends that I talk to on a regular basis, family or people that I play with normally. I should not have to play cloak and dagger from the people on my friends list. Just sayin
  17. Chapter 10 completion still broke for me as well. No access to: Kaliyo, Lana and Theron. Unable to obtain Blizz via Contacts as chapter 10 will not complete. Can we please get an acknowledgment from a Dev?
  18. Sorry, but the bugs that still remain for operatives and Chapter 10, and the bugs introduced with Chapter 11 release such as the broken and unable to be summoned Nico Okarr, Arik Jorgan naked and vantage point issues, there is a bad taste left over. A horrible untested release on Bioware's part... The only thing that was ok with Chapter 11 were a few of the cut scene's.
  19. Just seen this too. Koth shows up in the last cut scene. He is involved in the conversation. He is now an NPC in my command center. This is all after he quit the alliance and ran off. Immersion Status - Dead
  20. Now that I find out my operatives Chapter 10 turn in fix is not a fixed at all..I hear about this Chapter 11 bug? Suppose I will wait and come back to the game when they fix their broken content.
  21. So Aric Jorgan appears naked, firing an invisible rifle. Later on in the chapter, he is completely gone and will not show up, thus preventing the mission from completing. The chapter has to be restarted multiple times to correct this bug. So, we have the still broke Chapter 10 for Operatives, and now we have a broke Chapter 11. Thanks
  22. Todays patch notes (4.2) state that Operatives are now able to complete chapter 10. This is false. I was forced to replay the entire mission, which I did, and now it is stuck at the same part..."Travel to the War Room on Odessen". This bug, now going on a month, is a class breaking bug. We are locked out of 3 different companions and are unable to acquire Blizz. Please fix this now.
  23. Todays patch notes (4.2) state that Operatives are now able to complete chapter 10. This is false. I was forced to replay the entire mission, which I did, and now it is stuck at the same part..."Goto the war room". Please fix this now.
