  1. Switching anatomy lessons for exploratory surgery would grant UH availability, though I've never had any trouble with a lot of blaster whips in the rotation, more so with the Shoot first & BackBlast delays. Not going for round-two makes me wonder if it's even worth having flying-fists, I wouldn't personally. losing 9% cunning hurts, the burstiness of scrapper is gone, and your DOTs lose their punch. It might be a fun jack of all trades spec for mixed range fighting, but I don't think you'd excel in any one particular area and finishing might be a problem. The best damage boosts are in the top tiers and I wouldn't sacrafice that personally. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
  2. Yes, still playing. It's obviously a nerf, but I'm learning to make it work. Notably had to switch from solo to BAF in WZs.
  3. charm /CHärm/ Noun: The power or quality of giving delight or arousing admiration. Verb: Delight greatly.

    Objectives points

It's like golf, the lower your score the better you did...
  5. I solo queue more than I do premades, but I will say that in a terrible premade there's still a stronger push toward objectives. PUGS tend to treat objectives independently, so you can't rely on them to defend anything or think ahead.
  6. Skavak was a close fight 2 levels below as pure scrapper. (didn't spec another tree until the last levels.). The damage he does is brutal, so use a lot of interrupts. Anytime DK was up I'd use backblast, and when you get to using a flashbang heal up, don't prep an attack, the HP is worth it. After heals I traded off with corso and let him take the aggro while I just sprinkled basic attack & vital. If you've got your energy managed and corso is doing decent I barely finished with him dead and me at around 10%. took 3 tries to get the sequence down, and time the interrupts. I only did class quest & PvP gear till 40+, so I don't think it mattered too much compared to skills & timing.
  7. I would rather be greeted with one playing keyboard than hear about the air freshener.

    Lvl 50 on PVP

There is a level 50 bracket. 1-49 used to mix with end-game players before they started gearing out.
  9. I think the issue is not to attempt to get shots off but to get your CC/KBs off. Assuming the complaint is when they get their opener and deny you the ability to do anything else you should be mashing your CCs to change the initiative roll. Once you're in the lead control is easy with brief CCs and gap extension. Playing as this class I get frustrated that control is a pretty even fight if we open, ridiculous if we get caught out of stealth. And for damage we are only really dangerous point blank, if we lose control or get movement debuffs any other class can outdamage us at range.
  10. I'm pretty sure teen smuggling is illegal. And more of a sith thing to do.
  11. I have the problem when I am in a space mission and try to enter. Not a lot of frequency but often enough to stop playing them when queued. I get a QTD.
  12. Only 6K? Don't know much about Ops, but last night in a WZ, I single handedly defended a turret from the entire team for the whole game. It was so easy as a scrapper, granted I have a couple pieces of centurian gear, but they were all ex navy seals, full battlemaster/rakata on vent. Rotation was Shootfirst, BB, dead. DK, BB, BW, dead (this won was something like 25K or sometihng on a tank. The healer was super hard because he had guard, and I had to do a flash bang, but with 6K hits on average it doesn't matter, I got lucky and Sucker Punch proc'd for an additional 2K, I was worried I had to use another skill. Popped cool-down, hit dodge and cast fly-by for a ticking 4K pts of damage, wiped two scrubs with this because I got my tendon shot off and stepped in front of a guy trying to run away from the blast. My team piped up and was like: "OMGZ dude we're on the way!" And I had to say, It's cool I got this. Sure I took a couple hits for typing that out, but I wasn't worried. Popped cool head and then did a Disappearing act and another shoot first, BB, WTFPonies. For giggles I popped a hot, because hey why not? It only healed for 1K per tick, but when I crit it was something closer to 3. With only two guys left I vital shot ticked one down with the occasional BW, and when it came to the last guy I threw up Surrender and the guy fainted. Honestly, I swear everyone believes this class does things it can't.
  13. Did anyone else notice that while ops/smugs are ~3.5% of the total population our forum class post counts are some of the highest? I think that says a lot. Incoming forum nerf.
  14. I would like to know if Flee the Scene consistantly reduces the cooldown of DA yet or if it's still bugged > 50% of the time. I haven't spec'd for Turn the Tables and will take the points out of a bugged skill before a mildly useful one. It should count-down twice if it's still bugged.
  15. Did he read the sorc nerfs and tell them to reroll? I don't like the scoundrel changes much, but until I see the other classes and how everything works in orchestra I'll have to bite my tongue. It's bleeding, yes.
  16. BS. Sawbones is definitely becoming a solid healing line, but the scrapper tree is a classic 'mage' counter used in numerous MMOs. And yes, that's Front load stealth melee as opposed to the force stealth class. I appreciate that you like healing very much, really. But I'm intent on playing what I like too.
  17. Could be lag between your pop and when they activate it, but I've taken CC effects with dodge and no damage. Did you get the stun but no damage from the DK?
  18. Almost my spec, except I didn't put anything into Turn the Tables and dumped 1 point in brawler's and 2 into shifty-eyed to avoid getting jumped and make other stealth squishies my prey since the opener means a lot more against us. The return for TT is 1% for each point, so utility wise "not stellar" would be an understatement. It only works against bleeding targets, and there will be less of that with a cooldown added to both Flech attacks. If you pop a vital shot in to keep it up we're talking 3% damage for 3 points but your VS DOT is a slow return, you'll be wasting a few ticks at the end of every fight where a SP would have finished them. I like the DK CD over UH heal grant, I think that's a good idea. No need for heals when you control the pace of the fight. Mine: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#7010cZGhRRdkrbfzZhr.1
  19. It was a non-serious post, don't worry about it.
  20. so it's a straight difference of 6. Cunning will attribute a smaller amount to crit, but will also add additional damage. Crit will just help with 1 stat. If you have very low crit I'd stack crit, but if you have it around 100+ the cunning is probably more beneficial.
  21. It's a great plan, not only will the other team still hate us for taking them out when they're on their own, but we'll also get our own team to hate us for not pushing the objectives and essentially making it a 6 man team to their 7. The only remote problem with this is we might have to face a pair of any other class type, but what are the odds of that? /sarcasm
  22. Disagree, the "boost" to alpha comes at a cost of 2 GCDs for the next BB and no chance of double SF. Energy-efficiency was definitely a PvE epic concern, but I never ran into problems in PvP. SP was 3 rotations on a proc and now does 10% less damage. Sustained damage was what the energy bonuses is trying to provide, but they gut damage with cooldowns/ 10% debuff on every high DPS skill. 10% less damage on 3 rounds of SP (assuming proc) outweighs a 5% boost on BB that is useable 2 rounds less. And now gimped SP makes up the majority of our rotations thanks to CDs. The new talents are splitting existing bonuses, you have to spend more skill points in the tree to make up for them, and they don't equal the damage lost for cool-down/nerf. You'd have to spec into both TT & Underdog to keep what UD currently offers and won't equal current SuckerPunch damage fully spec'd. My conclusion was that sustained damage for ops was boosted, but the PvP ability to start-finish has an incredibly high bar now. You are absolutely right that the changes to the other classes are the biggest factor on whether or not this will be balanced.
  23. The scrapper changes were infuriating, I've never had that reaction to patch notes in a game before. It was a massive nerf across the board, and I feel like I'm already doing everything I can just to come in 3rd for damage. BB and SP were our bread and butter, now we have one more rotation to fill before we can use BB and when we fill it with SP it's not as good. Talent wise they split the utility in half so we spend twice as much on each talent changed. And if they're going to just add a new talent give us a bonus skill point then. Honestly, role a healer, it will be impossible to take you out once your heal past the first burst.
  24. I've never wanted to play it, and the comments about play mentality are dead on. They seem to broadcast it when they play. DAOC until ywain was announced. Few months of Aion, anyone who wants to QQ about gear disparity should play that game to see how it's done "right". This is the easiest progression MMO i've played of the 3, and overall balance is surprisingly decent. More open PvP patches and less like WoW pvp and I'll become a long term subscriber.
