  1. I faced the same problem with my juggernaut. gear up according to what KBN said. there aren't any better implants / earpieces than the crafted veracity ones (this is before you get access to the dread forged stuff, which is better by a small margin in mitigation but by a huge margin in primary stats). On my PT I use everything besides the armoring from the vendor gear I get with the ultimate comms, since PTs are quite shield-heavy. I push my absorb value with augments until I have access to mitigation optimised enhancements (from df and dp hc).
  2. I can't comment on sins (though iirc someone said the endurance boost is nice for them), but i don't pick up the 3pt. endu boost on my PowerTech. I'd rather have Iron Fist for more Rocket punch damage and hot iron for nore flameburst damage. But thats personal preference. I am sure, someone with more experience than i have can comment on this.
  8. I really recommend the veracity pieces as implants and earpiece, the amount of mitigation stats on them is outstanding. As for the relics, "fortunate redoubt" is the defense proc, "reactive warding" the flat damage shield. I got the pvp variants on both of my tanks before I went to clear dread fortress and dread palace to get the pve ones.
  9. T(h)ank you for all the responses. With all tanks being really viable, I might get them all to 55. For now, I will stick to my Powertech, since most tanks on my server seem to be Juggernauts and I really like the PTech playstyle and animations.
  10. Hello fellow tanks. I picked up SWToR again two months prior, when I grew bored of GW2. Since then, I leveled a Juggernaut and a Powertech to 55, and equipped them with pretty much optimised 69 gear (following KBNs great advice which saved me a ton of time). I am thinking about starting an assassin now, to have one of each tank available, but I am a little hesitant, because of the amount of active mitigation assassins have in their rotation (all those stacks and such). I know from several theory crafting discussions that sins are seen at the best tanks atm and even KBN showed, that the other tanks are withing a small percentage of damage taken, I wondered if I would do better on a sin... It's pretty much the old problem of min-maxing, as I want to tank as good as possible, making raids and fps easier for others. So the question is: How big is the difference between the tanks, not seen from a theory crafting point of few but merely from your experience. Please enligten me.
  11. I too, got the same relic for my tank yesterday and went to Makeb to confirm the 20s cooldown. It is still working as not intended, making it better than the PvP one. Now lower your voice, we don't want them to fix it, do we?
