  1. read up on Mandalorians here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Mandalorian and you'll see just why everyone loves them so much and exactly! we gotta restablish the toughness of our mando'ade culture!
  2. naotolan, i would love to be able to play as one i would also love to play as a togruta
  3. yeah, and instead of a Mandalore theres a Duchess or some crap
  4. I love Triple Zero, 501st is good but its depressing to read just because thanks to the Clone Wars TV show Karen Traviss, supposedly, isn't writing anymore novels because they ruined everything Mandalorian she had made.
  5. very interesting, karen traviss who invented almost everything Mando based them off of the Celts a lot. Clan based, nomadic, warrior people. I really like how being a mandalorian isnt so much as your home planet, its adopting the culture. people become a mandalorian late in life but theyre still as mando as anyone else
  6. tehjai after you play the games read the novels, in my opinion they are some of the best EU content out there. they will completely change how you look at the Clone Wars and at Jedi, even The Force. and sweet! yeah id be making a new one as my main is a sith sorcerer (not very mando haha)
  7. I've read most of the history online, and a lot more from the books. I love everything Mandalorian
  8. Su'cuy ner vod! Have you read the Republic Commando novels? When you saw the movies did you love Boba Fett and Jango Fett? Are you just interested in the warrior nomads feared throughout the galaxy? I knew when I would start playing SWTOR I would make a Bounty Hunter, however being a Sith with my friends was what I ended up doing -_- But now I am making a Bounty Hunter on an RP server and want to find some more people who either a.) already have Bounty Hunter and want to find some like minded players to RP with or....... b.) haven't made a BH yet but would like to, especially now that you know someone else wants to find some Mando'ade brothers Basically I want to make BH and make a Mandalorian Themed Role Playing clan. However none of my friends are is interested in this :/ So would anyone be game?!
  9. That would be awesome, but if he were to make 3 more movies as sequels I guess you would call them he would have to do one of two things; 1.) Do his own thing and completely disregard all the EU as G-Canon takes precedence. This would probably piss off a lot of fans. But hes done that before. Anyone who read the Republic Commando novels and then saw how Lucas portrayed Mandalorians in the Clone Wars TV show knows exactly what I am talking about. 2.) Follow the EU, the only problem is that there is SO much. He wouldn't be able to stop, and if he did where does he start and where does he end? Thrawn, NJO, LOTF, FOTJ? It would be really, really difficult for him to do. Of course he also wants to make his TV show that he wanted to have 400 hours of (1 hour episodes, so 400 episodes). Unfortunately there probably won't be any new Star Wars movies for a very long time, if there ever is any
  10. battlefront 3. make it just like battlefield 3, except with star wars.
  11. Well Jango and Kenobi fought to pretty much a stalemate on Kamino; is there anything in the EU that says if Boba was stronger than Jango? Also would it be fair to say that on Kamino Obi Wan was in his prime? Just some food for thought
  12. I know a decent amount about lore and the other books, I read some of the New Jedi Order books not all of em. I generally like Karen Traviss as an author; I absolutely love the Republic Commando series, which unfortunately is done :/
  13. Very true; I assumed that was the reasoning behind the "extended" lives. It would also make sense then for Fett to be dying, his clone body could be breaking down faster. I wasn't sure if this was ever explicitly mentioned somewhere else ya know?
  14. did you read the intial post? i said i dont like jar jar now. but as a little kid i loved him to death
  15. So I started reading the Legacy of the Force series after I spoiled it for myself by reading it all on Wikipedia -_- but I noticed some I guess you could call them timeline problems Han was born 29 BBY and Legacy of the Force takes place 40 ABY which means that Han is 69 years old. In Bloodlines (the book I am on currently) he says something after dodging an assassination attempt about all of this being difficult when he was 60. I was letting that slide, could just mean IN his 60s. In the first book Ben considers his parents middle aged. Luke was born 19 BBY making him 59 and Mara Jade is born 17 BBY making her 57. Boba Fett says he is 71 and he was born 31 BBY, which then makes sense. However he talks about how he is getting older and dying. They do say this could attributed to the fact that he is a clone. What I am confused by is how everyones still running and gunning when they're in their (almost) 60s and 70s? Is it because medicine is more advanced at this time leading to a longer life expectancy or is it just something the writers all overlooked to make a better story? (I don't blame em, if half the book was Han and Boba playing cards in a nursing home that would be a pretty boring book, funny, but boring) I was just wondering if anyone had an explanation or if someone knew if the authors have discussed this in an interview or something
  16. i completely forgot about josh holloway, thats a great person for the role. and he said hed wanna play luke before it was announced when the tv series would take place, just that there would be a live action tv series. which by the way does anyone know when thats supposed to be coming out?
  17. also i like christian bale as han. han would be the most fun to cast, and like someone said before i wish harrison ford could still do it :/
  18. first off haters trolling on here this is what i picture when you post : and i like the hugh jackman idea. and i know i wasnt a huge fan of zac efron but i didnt know who else to do it
  19. i figured thatd at least be funny.. at least someone found what i was doing here!
  20. id agree itd butcher the franchise. i said it inlike the second sentence. im jsut speculating. id NEVER want this to happen
  21. now dont jump and attack me right off the start, we all know hollywood remakes can never live up to the original version (read "they're bad") but i started thinking today WHAT IF they were remade.. who would they have play who? and i figured id make a thread on what i thought and what everyone else though! so enjoy! luke skywalker: zac efron people are probably going to hate me for this but........ hes not that bad of an actor. he could have that same boyish charm that mark hamill had in IV and show the serious side later on. i know he is a huge star wars fan and when the live action tv show was rumored to be in production (is that still in production? wikipedia says it is but ya never know with that!) he said he would be really really interested in playing luke. others considered: daniel radcliffe? shia labeouf? not really sure with this one leia organa: jennifer lawrence shes got two things going for her 1.) shes very, very attractive 2.) shes a great actress. she was nominated two years ago i believe for best actress for winters bone she would be able to play leia perfectly i feel. shed be able to be good looking enough to be eye candy yet have enough acting skill to really deliver a good job. if you look at all the young top actresses right now no one is even close to her. others considered: hanna mangan-lawrence. shes relatively unknown, if anyone watches spartacus: vengeance she plays seppia, the roman girl. so far in the series she seems pretty good so she could play a good leia. again this is a tough role to cast obi wan kenobi- ewan mcgregor i think he did in a pretty good job in the prequels as kenobi, a lot of people would want a bigger name actor possibly in this role, i mean come on its obi wan! but there arent too many actors i could really see playing old ben han solo- brad pitt when star wars was coming out they went and got a great actor who was extremely good looking; hence here we get the same thing. brad pitt is good looking enough to make the ladies swoon and enough of a bad *** to make the guys wanna be him. this one to me seems like the best one i could come up with. and of course in the remake han would shoot first. others considered: none lando calrissan- will smith i personally love will smith, i think hes great. i though perhaps denzel but i feel like denzel is a bit too old for lando. obviously there are many more very important roles but these were the ones i could think of off the top of my head. so what do you guys think? would you recast anyone in these roles? also who didnt i include that you would cast? and remember we all love star wars, so dont hate
  22. all the trade federation knew was that sidious was sith, thats who they were dealing with the whole time. ehs the one that ordered them
