    I think its gonna be fine if they nerf other classes and juggs gets their hands on ED tactical. Still, I find these threads pointless because they announced next big patch in february, so we have to wait over 2 months for some class ballance

    Maybe you should stay invisible until his enraged defense wears off? It seems like if something doesn't die in maul spam, it's clearly OP to you. And most of their dps are dots and aoe. And numbers aren't even that importatnt in BGs, if ppl are farming numbers in hypergate or huttball they are going to loose.

    If you are playing a shadow and you have issues with juggs it just devaluate everything you wrote here. Srsly try to play juggs in solo ranked, most of the time you'll spend your time just kiting/LOSing everyone.

    I play both and juggs are now in the worst spot they have ever been in pvp. Maras are pretty good tho
  5. I'm not a fan of 250 bolster idea. With best gear availible (248) it would mean no skank tanks and no minmaxed gear.
  6. Actually I have more problems with competent engi snipers than with OP mercs as a melee class. Plus their snare game ruins fun in pvp:rolleyes:

  9. Why are you even comparing ranged dps to melee? Powertechs have great burst, merc survability is trash and their dps is low if they are focused, I agree with you, but still you shouldn't compare them. So in comparison to other rangeds: -sorcs are immortal, they are really hard to kill if they are skilled -snipers have great burst, they can put out some nasty dps if they have good support (I mean real dps, not multitarget dots) -mercs... they are here just for electro net
  10. Yeah, AP PTs are great for 8v8, against undergeared players it even looks like cheating lol. There has nothing changed with our survability tho, so for solo ranked in S7 I'll stay shield tech
  11. Most of high rated PTs are tanks. DPS PTs can be tunneled more easily, but are harder to control than maras
  12. Well, sometimes staying in one place is better than advancing backwards
  13. Roll any class with stealth and just ... stay invisible:o 125 ms isn't so bad, just don't play 4m melee, it would be difficult to stay on target. Try PT/vang, basic rotation is simple and you can perform big part of it at 15m distance. Or play ranged classes like sorc/sniper

  15. Honestly do you really believe those numbers reflects how are mara/sents performing in pvp Eric? Only good players are pushing rating with mara/sent for seasonal rewards. Casuals wants to enjoy this game and are playing mostly FOTMs, so they are actually lowering win/loss ratio of better classes. No offense meant, but devs should spent more time playing game instead of looking into leaderboards. Even cook tastes his food. Anyone who tried solo ranked with a marauder/sentinel will tell you how poorly performing they are no matter spec they used. Anyone who tried any sort of pvp with a marauder/sentinel will tell you how unfun it is to stay constantly in CCs/roots.

  18. There are 5 marauders/sentinels above 1625 in solo ranked. Only 1 from my server

  22. This. Ravage is now much weaker than pre 3.0, but I use it with berserk on stunned targets for extra burst.
  23. I know 90%+ maras are carnage, but mara do not have only burst specs, annihilation could use some mobility buffs
  24. Geez, another "mercs are broken for a decade, so your class shouldn't be ever fixed" post. Did you played mara at 60? Everyone knows those planned buffs aren't going to change anything. Mercs have at least two viable specs for both roles in pve and bodyguard for pvp, maras have none. Noone expects to have everything solved in one patch, but how can it be so hard to fix just one fkn spec. There are classes which have viable specs for both of their roles. If I compare mara to my other toons- juggs have godly dcds, great mobility in pvp, pts have a great burst, ranged abilities and great mobility (which they don't even need, because of so many 10m+ abilities), both of em have taunts and good tanking offspec
