  1. lol, Make sure to write EMP Field and sabotage probe! Anyway, my point is it's already stated and that the devs should know about it anyway.
  2. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=750113&highlight=sab+probe I made a thread about this 3 weeks ago... lol
  3. I think his main problem is that they can indeed be beaten at everything that is their supposed "role" as you put. Clarion can clear an area much more effectively than a minelayer can and can get out of the area after cleared or hold it indefinitely. They are not anywhere near as useful in TDM as a girl bomber because girl bombers offer heals to the team and are much more mobile then male bombers with drones. Male bombers can set up a "bastion" but it's more of a fortress of solitude that, btw, scouts aren't even afraid of anymore. In domination, I'll argue that a girl bomber can be more area denial then a male bomber now. My reasoning? Interdiction drones can slow through LOS where interdiction mines can't now. As well as drones having more HP then mines so they wont necessarily be killed by ion spam. Seeker mine actually moves to enemies before it AOEs (if specced) and therefore has more opportunity to AOE then SIM does. Honestly, like the OP stated... It's only saving grace is hyperspace beacon. Albeit that is a major bonus for groups... it is as you say "outperformed in its own specialty". Just my thoughts. Hugs and kisses.
  4. Unfortunately, that thread is far out of date. Many of the listed pilots on the various servers I play on don't even play anymore. But, that's life. Hopefully people will let that thread die in peace now.
  5. Tune is correct. Armor pen. ignores ALL DR, which means charged plating (ability) and deflection armor.
  6. Harbringer is very active, but I haven't played much on it to give you an assessment of guilds or helpfulness. From what I can tell, a lot of people run in premades and everyone else is kinda just there to die. Ebon Hawk is fairly active and has GSF dedicated guilds on both sides as well as a chat GSF channel. Most players on there are helpful albeit they give some incorrect info sometimes. They have a decent number of veterans that play. Bastion is also fairly active and also has GSF dedicated guilds and the GSF chat channel. I'd say that Bastion has more helpful players, but you really have to seek them out and whisper them for 1 on 1 action. But, many are more then willing to help. GL on your search for a home.
  7. Well said Nemarus. Hugs and kisses, the petulant child.
  8. I agree Nemrus. You should broaden your horizons and play other servers. Roll on Bastion and let me know when you do, I'll help you play the meta.. errr... I mean... play for how our server is.
  9. That's like telling a new player to use LLC instead of BLC because it's easier to hit with. Gimping a player because he is new is the most horrible thing you can do. Nemrus: "It's harder to use, so you shouldn't do it. because you're new, you should gimp yourself instead of trying to be better." Hugs and kisses.
  10. The thing you need to understand is this... If everyone good is using charged plating but you, then you're doing something wrong. Hugs and kisses.
  11. Scout base Primary: Seismic mine Secondary: Seismic mine System: Seismic mine Shield: Seismic mine Engine: Seismic mine Armor: Seismic mine Reactor: Seismic mine Magazine:Seismic mine Thruster: Seismic mine
  12. I agree with this. I do see lots of people switch. But, seeing as strike night is optional I don't hold it against them. If people feel the need to fly something other then strike on "Monday" that's their prerogative. I think that suppressing a team of gunships is for sure possible. Do I think it'll help you win? No. Suppressing and shutting down are 2 different things and I believe that in the end the strike will lose if pitted against a good gunship. This goes doubly for teams, especially since it only takes 2 slugs (give or take) to kill a strike. But, this is not the point of the thread so whatever. It doesn't matter what a bad pilot is flying, they are easy to kill in anything, so that point doesn't matter. I think everyone should fly everything so that way they know how to best counter it. It just is funny that battlescout will pretty much counter everything nowadays anyway. As for taking your lumps, I think you need to take your own advice. How many matches have I seen you leave because you didn't want to fly against us? (Even when you were in a premade). The only way you'll get better as a veteran is to play those tough matches against players that are comparable or better then you. Leaving because you are not in your comfort zone is a poor excuse. Knowing you are going to lose is a poor excuse. Just take your medicine and continue with your day. Correct that we are very good at working together. But, we are also very good. All of us have 2000+ games played and we play all different ships and we are VERY good. Not just kinda good, we are VERY good. This is just insulting. We all started playing solo or against each other and we have become better because of it. We all started out solo players and for you to claim that we are just above average is an absolute farce. Although it sounds egotistic, I KNOW that our pilots, individually, are significantly better than MOST of the aces on any server. (Including scrab - The 1 ship wonder). As for your remarks of flying the best combination, I agree. We do work together to fly what will help us win more easily BECAUSE winning is fun to us. Anyone will eventually kill anything just because sheer numbers. But, a T1 strike will lose many times against a comparable skilled T2 scout on average. That's just how it is. T2 scouts are in a very good place right now, which is why people fly it. That's the meta. Any teams with ANY decent pilots can win ANY game if they are good enough and coordinated enough. That's the joy of the game. You can come back if you want. I miss seeing you quit games against us then roll noobs all day thinking you're good, but won't step up to the big leagues. Hugs and kisses.
  13. For the sake of trolling... This is a personal attack so you should ban yourself if you were a moderator. ERMAHGAD HYPOCRITE! Hugs n kisses.
  14. This made me l o l. Let me break it down for you since you obviously just fly scout. TT is a 45 second CD that improves acc/crit chance/crit multitude (multitude and more chance on final tier). BO is a 60 second CD tht increases rate of fire/regen/crit chance/damage of blaster (when fully upgraded [note: you can get range too, if you want to]). So, in essence, scouts get 2 (TWO) CDs at least every minute (this include co-pilot ability). Where, everyone else gets 1 (unless you count clarion/imperium combat comand which iwhishes it was TT but with crap weapons). So, yes, in a fight against skilled players they are hindered more then you are in a scout. Also, the fact that scout has better engine rate of use for energy and they are faster then most ships. So, your complaint about hve to close the gap is stupid since they can regen/move there faster then any other ship. And, all you need to do is LOS until you have about 20% engine to close that 15k gap.
  15. I love free wins, thanks for that.
  16. Strike night ended 14 mins ago nubkins. I respected your little event until midnight EST
  17. If a railgun whizzes by you, do you know that in 2.7 seconds another railgun will be fired at you? Also, if you get hit by a railgun should you just lay down and give up?
  18. If people want to believe incorrect information that's their prerogative. Like I said earlier, in your imaginary world where everything hits and there is no evasion/acc/tracking penalty then your information can be useful to people that don't play. But, if someone disagrees with me and they are incorrect that's their own error and I really don't care to be friends with anyone on the forums. I believe everything about your post is incorrect because of your static premise that accuracy/evasion/tracking penalty isn't included in your math. That system algorithm changes YOUR WHOLE ARGUMENT. So, as far as I'm concerned your post is still "spreading incorrect information throughout the GSF community". But hey, if you want to read the info and not play the game then it's really helpful. Hugs and kisses
  19. This is why this thread is Ridiculous with a capital R. Using the math provided for every laser/railgun is theoretically sound. But, in reality things are different. RNG from crits/accuracy/tracking penalty is what makes the game fun. Trying to put something in a theoretical setting is fine if you don't plan on ever playing the game yourself to find what is good and bad. On a side note to OP: Stasie is right, you want to get really close before opening up. This thread is about "Ambush" damage which means they don't see you and to maximize your DPS you go up close and do not use range capacitor. You use frequency or damage.
  20. So... basically what you're saying in a long winded post is that I was right? Cool. Thanks for letting me know what I already knew.
  21. Nemrus pulls out numbers from hangar screen and makes false premises. You pull numbers out of thin air and make false premise. Today must be "Pretend I Can Do Logic Day". Nice try though guys.
  22. Gunsheep supports this. Not knowing CF is primary weapon only is pretty lols
  23. Dancezwithnubz is JASNPTTHIAG (Just Another Scout Noob Pilot That Thinks He is Actually Good)
  24. "No way anything but a GS/Bomber can win! Since I can only win doing this, then the way you win must be because you are playing with bads. Blah blah blah, I'm good, you're mediocre even though I can only get a 5:1 K/D." lols, this guy.
  25. "WAHHHHHHHHHHH, I suck without overpowered buffs!"
