Thanks for that tip. Restarted the quest numerous times and barrier wouldn't drop. Switched instances and it dropped first try. Seems like someone (coughdevscough) needs to make sure code replicates to all servers and instances properly.

This does appear to fix the issue, but I'm doubtful it does so for the reason you think. I'm pretty sure editing the file invalidates the hash and kicks off a repair/re-download of some sort. I initiated the same fix, and it does appear to be downloading now. However, a quick view of the file shows the edit removed along with other info (such as my saved account name). This "fix" is actually just breaking the game in a way that forces repairs to kick in.

I think you are missing the point completely. Two HM missions which yield Elite commendations (in addition to being part of a weekly quest that yields additional elite commendations) are not available in the Group Finder at level 60. They are, however, available to lower level characters via the group finder, who cannot use the commendations until they reach level 60. That's some backwards logic.

I guess I wasn't specific enough. I'm looking at the HM versions, which you cannot solo at 60, and certainly could not solo at 55.

Where are they? The weekly CZ-198 reward has Elite Commendations, but there's no longer a queue for the FPs for lvl 60. What gives?

I'm with you pretty much across the board. It doesn't bother me the expansion is now "free". I've been playing it for months and I didn't pay much for it. Stuff gets cheaper as time goes on, that's just how the economy works. But speaking of economy... I DO NOT agree that all I appear to have gotten was a title while others who have probably spent less cash than I are getting Cartel Coins. Cartel Coins are arguably worth money since they are generally purchased (with the exception of the monthly grant, which in my case is far less than the amount being awarded). The reward incentive here seems to indicate they'd rather we NOT be subscribers.

I hadn't posted on this thread before because I didn't want to muddy the waters. However, the decision reached on this topic is very frustrating. I have the Revan chest on two characters. It bothered me that it doesn't look like Revan's gear, but it looked cool. I assumed eventually the hood bug would be fixed. Guess I was wrong. Can I have my Cartel Coins back? And the half million creds I paid for the second one on the GTN?

Regardless of whether there is a cost to using the customization kiosk, and regardless if you can pay that cost from the monthly grant, I think the solution is simple: Just put more time and effort into character creation. If you aren't happy with how your toon looks, don't click play. If I happen to have the funds needed to change appearance, and I happen to be bored one day, I might tinker with a change. Aside from that possibility, I have no plans to revamp my toons. I am, however, very interested in the name change ability. I have some remorse over names I lost due to server mergers. A second chance to rename them something better is appealing.

Nope. Not F2P. Full subscription, founder title, the works. I also play an Annihilation marauder, so as I said, doesn't affect me, and I could care less. You can't assume carnage is the be-all and end-all of the marauder, and then assume that all of us should notice when a skill that we never use has changed. You want to be taken seriously? Less 20 questions and innuendo, and more being up-front, forthright, and conversational in forums that are designed for sharing info...not "Guess what I found? No, really, guess."

Seriously? Brooding? Who uses that? You talked all this trash about how you didn't believe you were the only one to notice. Guess what? Assuming there is anything wrong with Brooding, you were probably the only one to notice. I have NEVER put points into that. EVER. Roar is all but pointless in a group setting, and I could care less how much fury I have when I'm out of combat. If Brooding is broken, sorry to hear it. Doesn't affect me.

So does that mean there is some kind of level-based voodoo math involved so that the stats aren't diminished when facing level 50 mobs? *Edit* I've been thinking about your response and I have to say that I believe my use of the word "diminishing" still applies. You can say the stats are being "adjusted" if you want, but if I need more AND what I have is now worth less, isn't that the very definition of diminishing? Also, is this something that was addressed elsewhere by devs so you know the answer is correct, or is this an educated guess at what's happening? I'm not trying to be difficult, I just want to be thorough.

To put this in perspective, let me clarify and make things confusing all at the same time: At 50 my Jug was wearing a mixture of Black Hole and Columi. I am now 54 and have upgraded almost everything to Black Hole. When I upgrade, I do not swap legs for legs. I strip the mods from the new gear and place them where they are appropriate (i.e., if an enhancement on the new legs has End/Shield/Defense and it upgrades the same stats on my hat enhancement, that's where it goes). With that in mind, at level 50 my Defense Chance was 24.99% At level 54 my Defense Chance is 14.58% At 50 my Shield Chance and Shield Absorption were at roughly 47% and 45% respectively. At 54% they are 34.76% and 30.19% respectively. What gives? It doesn't make sense that stats should diminish as you increase the level and the gear. I'm going to note the exact stats just before and after I ding 55 and post them here.

Has anyone else noticed their mitigation stats getting lower each time you gain a level after 50? Mine have dropped every time I've leveled. For example, I just hit 54 and haven't swapped gear or trained any new skills/abilities, and my Damage Reduction, Defense Chance, Shield Chance, and Shield Absorption have all dropped a few percent from what they were at level 53.

I've heard lots in regards to this memory leak, most of which appears to have gone ignored by customer service. I've also read a lot of advice regarding cleaning caches and such...you know, the whole "the user/rig/anything-but-the-app is at fault" mentality. Here's some perspective. I have 2 different machines: Machine 1 (desktop) CPU = i7 @ 3.4 MB = ASUS Sabretooth RAM = 16GB DDR3 GPU = ATI Radeon HD 6870 with 1GB DDR5 HDD = SSD boot with game installed on 1TB caviar black Windows 7 Ultimate Machine 2 (laptop...RoG G75vw) CPU = i7 @ 2.8 (3.4 boost) MB = ASUS RoG RAM = 12GB DDR3 GPU = nVidia GTX 670m with 3GB DDR5 HDD = SSD boot with game installed on 500GB caviar black Windows 7 Home premium Both machines are easily capable of running the game at the highest settings with no issues whatsoever. Both of these machines crash to desktop after playing for an hour or so. Both show ridiculously high RAM usage. It isn't a heat issue. Both machines run quiet and cool. It isn't a driver issue. I've already tried all the updates and rollbacks. It isn't faulty video card, unless I managed to get high end duds from two different manufacturers. It isn't a processor issue as both are more than adequate. It isn't a disk issue as the OS and game are separated, and running on extremely capable drives. It isn't faulty RAM, unless I somehow managed to get duds from two separate manufacturers. It isn't insufficient RAM, and both computers are capable of running multiple virtual machines (2 or more) simultaneously with zero issues (allocating 3GB RAM per VM running 32bit Windows 7 ultimate or Server 2008). In short, there ain't a damned thing wrong with either machine, yet SWTOR crashes to desktop. No other application does this...only SWTOR. These are high end machines, one built and one purchased/tweaked. BW needs to take a look and realize that something ain't right. EDIT** I've also notice an increased occurrence of crashing to desktop if I'm space-barring through dialogue on HM dailies.
