  1. I also cancelled over this. The whole hood toggle fiasco feels very bait and switch. All of the promotional jedi media has their hoods down, including the screen shots. The character creation screen has the hoods down. The robe models already exist in the game. So why can't we put our hoods down!? I don't even need to have a toggle. Just put ONE decent orange robe in the game with no hood. Just ONE. Throw on top of all this the fact that they said the hood toggle should have been in the last patch (but wasn't), and their refusal to comment on it, just makes this even more pathetic. I like this game, but I cannot play a story-driven game where my character is forced to look so stupid. With F2P coming, I am cancelling my sub. If they implement hood-toggle I will re-sub. Simple as that.
  2. Jedi Characters need hood-toggle so they don't look like tools during cutscenes. Unify colors, hide helmet, and hood toggle for companions. Server merges rather than transfers would be nice. An option to replay class quests at level 50 (maybe a heroic mode?) Wing-Commander/Freelancer/X-wing vs Tie fighter style space combat, missions, trading, and exploration. Legacy bank for all your characters.
  3. One thing I want to add is that it is truly impossible to get anything close to the character creation armor because we can't put our hoods down. I don't see why the level 20 legacy armor couldn't have the hood down, but apparently its too difficult to implement This aggravates me too because I designed my character to look like how he did in the creation screen. He can never get that look because the hoods are always up. That fact, combined with all the Jedi Media surrounding swtor showing hood down robes, almost feels like false advertising in a way.
  4. From what I understand the Jedi Battlelord is almost identical, except that it is green. The Legacy lvl 20 Jedi armor is also pretty similar but it is lacking shoulderpads.
  5. Will the Hood-Toggle feature be implemented in Patch 1.3 (or earlier)? I find my current Jedi guardian to be unplayable until I am able to lower his hood. If this feature is not to be implemented soon, could you at least put in some hood-down robes in the game? For example, you could offer a hood-down version of the lvl 20 Legacy Robes.
  6. Maybe I'm missing something, but the lightsabers in that video look identical to the ones I am seeing in-game.
  7. We really need merges not transfers. If say 50% of the population of a light server leave to go to a medium or heavy server, than that light server is even worse off than before. All the light servers need to be merged together to make at least medium servers.
  8. Will the Hood toggle be implemented in patch 1.3 (or earlier)? I really hate not being able to put my hood down on my Jedi Guardian. If it won't be implemented soon, can we at least get some hood-down robes to hold us over? A hood-down version of the Lvl 20 JK Legacy armor would be fantastic.
  9. Hi, I just took out Gearbox and am about to go after Tavus. From what I have read this is the end of ACT 1. My question is this: Should I do anything before ending the act? I haven't done Aric Jorgan's companion quest yet on Nar Shadaa. Is that going to go away once I finish the first act? Is there anything else that I need to do before going after Tavus? Or can I go ahead and finish Act 1 and not have to worry about missing anything? Thanks.
  10. This is crap then. I found about 50 sites that say "The order the shards are placed in the assembler do not matter". But apparently they do. And how come there isn't any decent info about this in-game. Nevermind that the republic assember is a triangle which has no definitive starting point.
  11. This site and others say that the order does not matter. I did BGB. Plus it only seemed to eat up my green shard. It didn't remove my blue shards from my inventory.
  12. Okay, so I was trying to make a M3-A2 Matrix cube for my Trooper. I plugged in 1 green and 2 blue shards and I end up with the M7-G0 cube instead. According to every online resource about matrix cubes, this should not be. Could this be a bug? Or am I not understanding something?
  13. I have a question. Does it have to be 12 different players in a guild (i.e. 12 different accounts), or does it just have to be 12 characters (i.e. alts) to get a guild bank?
  14. That last quote makes it sound like Hood Toggle might not make it into patch 1.3. That would make me very sad. If hood toggle isn't going to be implemented soon, I hope they at least add some hood-down orange robes to tide us over. Maybe via legacy.
  15. A lot of people seem to think that if they don't personally care about an issue than it isn't important. I play this game mostly for the single-player content, and for being a sequel to KOTOR. I don't care about PVP. If I wanted that I would play a different game like CoD. The hood issue is important to some of us because of how ridiculous it makes the jedi-players look (especially in cutscenes). It makes it harder for me to enjoy the JK storyline. If character customization wasn't important than orange gear wouldn't exist. In fact if gameplay was all that mattered, than all gear would look the same. What is annoying about the hood issue is that most robes have hood-down version in the game. You see them all the time on NPCS. Plus on Twi-leks the hood disappears anyway. It shouldn't be difficult to allow this as an option for all races. Also every promotional screenshot of Jedis have their hood down. Even in character creation this is so. It is however currently impossible to make your character look like anybody in the promotional materials. It just feels like false advertising. TL:DR version: People like different things in MMOs. Don't belittle others. Jedi should be able to look like the Jedi in Bioware's screenshots.
  16. Hood toggle is something that needs to be implemented by Bioware soon. No later than 1.3 I hope. This is a huge issue for us force-wielders.
  17. Bought the chestpiece for 11k on crevasse city server. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me. I have seen other pieces go for 25k +. This is the first time i have ever seen the chestpiece for sale so I snatched it up. Too bad I can't lower my damn hood though.
  18. Will hood-toggle be in patch 1.3 (or earlier)? This is a huge issue for me which will determine whether to renew my account. If not, an acceptable concession would be to add a hood-down version of the lvl 20 legacy robe for Jedis, and a hood-up version for Sith, since the robe-models already exist.
  19. Things that need to be in next 1.3 (or in earlier-smaller patches): Hood Toggle for Jedi/Sith Robes for players and companions Unify Colors works on helmets Unify colors on companions Price reductions on some of the legacy stuff. Birthright gear should scale to level like Heirloom gear in WoW did. Legacy-cargo hold for all of your characters on your server. And here are some ideas for future patches/expansions: Replayable class story missions. Preferably as a heroic lvl 50 mode. More in depth space missions. I would love to have a Privateer/Wing Commander style space game with Dog-fighting, and smuggling, trading, etc.
  20. Are there any future-plans to include a method of replaying class storyline mission? Either as a straight-up replay, or offering a "heroic-mode" for class missions.
  21. There are many players out there who consider "Hood Toggle" an important issue. It is my #1 concern with the game. I personally cannot stomach myself to play my Jedi Knight with his hood up, when I know how much better he looks with it down. Hood Toggle needs to be implemented ASAP.
  22. Will we soon be able to toggle the hoods on our Jedi Robes, or will hood-down robes (like the ones we see in promotional screenshots) be made available soon?
  23. Yes, some sort of Hood toggle needs to be implemented ASAP.
  24. We need to keep this topic on the front page. It really irks me that I cannot have my hood down. There is a reason why all the Jedi in the promotional screenshots and videos have their hood down, and that is because it looks awesome. This whole thing almost feels like a bait and switch scam sometimes. I just want my guy to look like how he did on the character creation screen. I really don't even want to play my JK until I can put his hood down.
