  1. My biggest beef with the DFA nerf is that any developer worth their salt will research some mechanics of a games ability based on real life examples. Let's say one rocket from DFA is equal to one F1 (Russian) defensive type grenade or even a more tactical M67 (US) frag grenade. BIO....please go to a ordinance range and toss one frag grenade. I assure you the kill/wound radius is more then 5 meters. Then go toss 5-6 frags out one after another and tell me what happens.

  7. My MH is at 865 wearing a mix of Rakata/Columi gear with only self buffs not including relics. . The last digit you see on your char sheet is a display error so your damage is from the first three, mouse over your damage to verify this.
  8. Can't remember the name but I have a couple of black blasters with green accent lights on them that look almost like .357 Python's. I love going all Pulp Fiction on mobs with them.
  9. Oh but remember...this is the same community who tells you to "play thru it" and "Your group must suck" when you go off about bugs in endgame content. Expect to be belittled for venting. You have my regards though.
  10. What..that you think the content is too easy? That very well could be and I won't disagree if that's what your insinuating because your point wasn't very clear in the other post. Though at the same time you also alluded to that because I was in a "Pug", which I don't really consider a guild run with a (1) guest using vent a "Pug", that it was no surprise we didn't clear Soa. If we'd of had time ya we could have worked through all the random resets, mindtraps killing people, ect. It was late, people have lives and jobs. We also pay for something that should be working pretty good by now. Eternity Vault is not new content. It was the first Operation created and was functional almost a year before release. More then enough time to solve the same issues that kept popping up in internal testing, closed beta, and now live. As I said....I understand all the malcontent now.
  11. I was the only person who wasn't in the guild along and I'm not a "fresh" 50. Just because it was my first trip through EV doesn't imply I don't have the skill needed to adapt and overcome. As I said before hand, the mechanics weren't hard to figure out even though it was my first trip. I know how to play my class, I know when, where and what to use different abilities on and I posses the two things alot of people seem to lack these days.... Common Sense and Deductive Reasoning....but even that can't beat a slew of bugs and glitches, which you'd expected to have been aired out by now.
  12. Um....no it wasn't the group. Our tank got tossed first time near 33%, boss reset instantly after. Second time the mindtrap killed the main tank, we hammered boss down to about 18% while the off tank kept things going, then the boss reset for no reason...everyone was doing a complete *** over that? Third time boss was down to around 13% boss reset after throwing out a mindtrap on one of the DPS. Everything else was by the book, pylons, lightning, everything. I don't need to justify this to anyone though. I was there, you wasn't. Like I said, I was stating why I understand the malcontent and frustration I've read about the past few months by people who have done this OP several times, not making excuses for why we didn't succede, sharing my experience. First time I've ever flipped off at something quest related and I get this kind of reception from the very people who complain also.

  14. After months of playing I finally got to do my first OP run last night thanks to the Gals & Guys in the <The Imperial Inquisition> guild on the Shadow Hand server. Great time, game mechanics not overly complicated and according to the raid leader we burned through the place in almost record time even with taking the time to explain a few things to me. All was great.....Until SoA bugged out 3 times and went all bat crap crazy. It was late and there was a couple other issues outside of gameplay that made us call it a night and I can't fault Bioware for those...Comcast, well that's a whole other rant. But seriously Bioware? It's bad enough you can't make a few stupid daily quest not glitch out everytime someone uses stealth during them and doesn't take down the mobs, and we all know what quest that is...but you then have this POS? On top of that you put a lockout timer on it? Now I understand you don't want ppl farming OPS but when your crap don't work right to begin with how could it be farmed? I've played since closed beta, early access and release only to end up in a guild that's basically dead, mainly from issues not addressed in beta and I finally...finally get to do something towards current endgame content and this is the experience I'm left with? I thought I was disappointed when I got to Ilum...what a toilet experience that turned out to be. Now I understand all the malcontent. Fix this.

Think it's more of a case were people who have played MMO's for years or actually say...function socially understand that patching has so many things that can go wrong not just from the programmer side but from the hardware tech side that we are able to cope better if the servers don't come up when estiamted to the first time......
