Seriously Bioware, you will need to correct this action. Having more than one shutdown is bad business. I don't know who is calling the shots on this stuff but clearly they are not customer aware. Do you even read these forums. Game killers: 1. Over scheduling Maintenance 2. massive lag spikes 3. Lack of Customer service 4. Server client crashes 5. Over pricing 6. Lack of content 7. Lack of development 8. Improper management of department So far I see 3 out of the 8 I listed I am sure there are more and people will post. But clearly gamers are unhappy with these maintenance's. Find one day make it maintenance day we will make it an official SWTOR holiday if you need more time on that day then just update the maintenance window time line, but do not schedule multiple server down time. I rather see 12 hours no game on a maintenance day then several 2 or 3 hours of down time during the week. Thanks much for reading this assuming you do read it.

The proper way of doing this is to have a redundant system, Server A (Live) Server B (Standby) you patch Server B test then you issue a reboot then bring down Server A Or better yet if your on a SANS system that is redundant you can Update SAN storage B Do a HSRP Swap to SAN Storage B bring down SAN Storage A for same update or even better yet you can use OnTap to replicate the two SANS and then you can issue rolling reboot on the servers that way the game world is only down 10 minutes it takes to reboot. personally I think they should have a farm of XenServers making the GAME world more efficient across a 10GB Fiber channel. Figure you can run about 60 VMs per Server head. Assuming they even have a SANS setup. Oh well its their CTOs / Director of Engineering Brain child they could be running all this on Atari 2400 for all we know...
