  1. I'm in the US, but agreed they should do something fun for Europe/Asia Pacific.
  2. http://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=38671&utm_source=Swtor.com&utm_medium=Press&utm_content=1000801_TORMalgus_Giveaway&utm_campaign=press_Swtor.com?intcmp=sor_bwa-mkt-t-us-hp-047
  3. Cool contest, but how about a Master Satele statue? Or maybe a nice Havoc Squad or Master Zallow? Smuggler anyone?
  4. The wallpapers at the bottom appear to be broken. "The requested content could not be loaded". Nice spotlight though. Thanks! Love Kira.
  5. Server is more responsive as well. I'm clicking around on the UI and it's orders of magnitude faster for me. Nice job.
  6. My biggest issue, not being able to interact with my environment. I do get immersed in my environment but these are odd things that break the mood for me: Chairs I can't sit in. I can't order a drink at the bar. Emotes with no animations (meditate would be nice to kneel and do it) More small interactive kiosks and devices on the worlds. NPC's that at least say something to you. Things to encourage random player gatherings in places such as party events (Festivals, etc) Nar Shadda should have gambling and other "Las Vegas" style activities Swoop Bike racing I'll add more as I think about this.
  7. Kira I will have to pay attention more. These are ones that happened recently so I remember.
  8. Allison, thank you for at least responding that you don't know. Hopefully you guys will not be kept in the dark forever. I for one appreciate seeing you guys post just to know you are watching and alive.
  9. Nar Shadda should have gambling. It should have seedy resort like things to do. It should be.... well a destination. Minigames would go a long way to expanding play. Bet on swoop races. Participate in swoop races. There are so many options for that planet and minigames.
  10. Yeah I haven't really gotten into the fray of madness being outwardly critical, but I have to say Bioware this is a huge mistake. You need to put a booth up there to show the commitment to the franchise if nothing else. This is the only Star Wars game in town currently and not to show up to the premier Star Wars event is a massive mistake. You don't even need devs there, but some sort of booth with demos and a company presence is essential just to show you care. There are many who really want this to succeed but backing out on your fan base is not a good PR move at all and may just fuel the fires.
  11. Sorry. I paid to play a game for the months that I did and I have no ill feelings about that. If this model was in place day one, I would have paid monthly as well. I had fun and still do. Given the trend for even new releases to drop to F2P immediately I think it was in the plan from the start. Subs will continue after F2P and get unlimited access, just like they do now. The fact that there are retro credits for tokens based on sub time indicates again this has always been in the cards for the game. In fact, I counter that from a business perspective EA/Bioware would have been stupid for not building with this model in mind. It's the trend in the industry. Look at Facebook games and the like. Mobile Games that are free with in-app purchases. Look around everyone, this is the new order of things. I'm a little sad about it as a long time gamer (measured in decades) but I have to adapt to change or get out. I will continue my sub and keep the access to the game I have. Like group finder, transfers, the F2P stuff probably wasn't ready at launch. This trend of F2P started during their dev period and likely they had to start to retool a while back. It just wasn't ready at launch, but I bet if it was, that is the way it would have been released. I despise EA, and Bioware is part of it now. I do enjoy this game. When I don't enjoy it any longer, I will turn it off.
  12. Hybrid model. Excellent. I can continue on as normal then.
  13. My bet is heavy on option 1, and some of option 2. Today I think will answer a lot of questions. btw Joveth thanks for responding. It was very concerning that you all had become very quiet after the layoffs.
  14. I have a great time in this game but clearly I play differently than most. I have played since March and have only one LVL 50. I love all the extras in the game and I look around as I level rather than following the target. My doubts come with all the "layoffs" and "restructuring" with no mention of what is going on. When all you see from the outside is hundreds losing their jobs and only the EA PR spin to make you feel better, it casts a major shadow on things. I'm not an expert at running a gaming company, but in the absence of fact we have nothing but theories and the few videos they have circulated. Joveth was very active with posting and I haven't seen him since the layoffs (except on Twitter about non SWTOR things). There were all these plans he spoke of to work with the community and now silence. I feel something terrible has happened. <-- yes I did that on purpose. Up until this point I've been very positive but given they have not put out a single word other than the forum highlights (which I love please keep it up) and maintenance notices since this latest wave of layoffs it does leave one wondering what is going on. The last minute spin put on it by EA after the fact wasn't very helpful. Given the earnings call coming up I'm sure that's intentional. Suffice to say I'm going to play and have fun for as long as it's here, but this is not the best PR job for sure and is just feeding posts like this one.
  15. LOL! Yes my thoughts exactly. Oh and a new sandbox environment and every thing you have ever asked for. I'm still amazed how many people that hate this or don't play still lurk on these forums. Man I wish I had that kind of time.
  16. Agreed. However you wouldn't hint something unless you were dead set on making it happen. I'm not talking random blue sky ideas here. I'm talking about things that are already in the development pipeline.
  17. Thanks for the updates guys and looking forward to good interaction. That said I haven't really posted my requests any where but I do have some feedback for the teams. This very Apple'esqe method of "we can't talk about it right now" doesn't really work. I don't understand why Bioware wouldn't want to shout to the world all the things they are planning for the year. The secrets don't serve any purpose. It's not like another MMO is going to introduce new Star Wars elements because they ripped off your idea. My goodness I play this because it's Star Wars. There is nothing that any of your competitors could steal from your announcements that would convince me to switch to them if I KNEW you were going to put it in SWTOR. It should be communicated all the way to the top that getting folks, like me, excited in the upcoming features and giving us things to look forward to is likely going to travel at light speed when you talk player retention. Being mysterious in this venue doesn't serve any useful purpose, and doesn't serve to keep anyone interested. BTW a notable exception would be the surprise events in game, like the plague event. I would want that to be a surprise. But features? Tell us! Get us excited about the future! Let us know what is on the drawing board. If nothing else you can solicit feedback before you waste massive development cycles building something nobody is going to like.
  18. Daniel: Ranked Warzones is on track for 1.3. All the heavy lifting (ratings, group persistence exiting warzones, etc) is done and right now we are working through some emergent conflicts with Group Finder and the process of queuing for multiple activities at once with multiple temporary groups. There is a lot of communication in this update. Nice job Bioware.
