  1. It's because everybody loves that voice. He does do other voices really well, but people only seem to want his deep "bad ***" voice.
  2. F2P =/= Pay2Win. Good free to play models are in effect, and have been very profitable. Possibly the best example currently is league of legends. It's completely free to play, but the store does not allow you to buy any power, instead all real money things are optional(skins and runepages), or playable champions. Riot stated that it's important to never sell direct power from a store, so they won't, and never will. There's absolutely no reason why Bioware couldn't do this. In the store they can sell orange gear without mods, XP boosts, real life items, and certain services like server transfer, race change etc. Just about anything that isn't like "buy best weapon for 10 bucks!". There are a lot of options, and trust me, people don't need this stuff to give power as a motivation to buy it, because people love cosmetic and quality of life stuff. I'm not saying SWTOR has to go free to play, but if they have to, they have a lot of options to sell without actually having to sell power. I actually expect them to try both subscription and microtransactions, just like Blizzard did.
  3. It's actually a really bad idea. Selling good gear for credits (unintentionally) encourages buying credits. Especially when it's very expensive. I don't think Bioware would want people to buy credits, for obvious reasons. Of course, there's always going to be good stuff for sale on the GTN, but that's a completely different matter and making everything BoP isn't the solution.(though it's one I wouldn't disapprove of). I don't mind people acquiring gear because they're rich, but it's will still encourage buying credits, which in itself is a bad thing.
  4. And? That doesn't mean anything. Just because the game is decently optimized for your ****** hardware, doesn't mean it is for their decent/good hardware. My pc can run BF3 on high settings, and yet my FPS is often meh in crowded places(though I admit, I'm often at 60fps in the world, which I'm thankful of), and loading times are a complete disaster.
  5. I'm confused.. It's March, why do you have an April issue of a magazine?
  6. It's in this quote, actually. You sound like a 12 year old.
  7. For gifts, military gear and weapons work best. I think republic memorabilia work as well, but not as good.
  8. Someone who is open minded. In reality, all Sith are Dark Jedi.
  9. I like Ashara, her character design is nice. If you level her affection, you will find that she actually likes traveling with you. And while she'll always remain a Jedi, she becomes pretty grey and start to like the freedom she gets from being a Sith apprentice.
  10. Macros would be nice. I barely used them in WoW, but they were extremely useful for focus targetting and i.w.i.n buttons(popping CDs + trinkets with one button.)

    R.i.p. Ilum?

That would actually be awesome. Well, as long as the daily attached to it isn't "win a race". Because even with 5 people doing it, it's going to be frustrating as hell to get a win out of it.
  12. It's ok. Nobody plays Sith pureblood on Empire, why would they start playing pureblood on Republic? Actually, it's not ok. But the likelyhood this will affect anyone at all is really low, considering that I never see any purebloods on my server, all Sith are humans or cyborgs.
  13. Jedi.. Smuggler. C'mon man. It's all about the lightning throwing Jawa.
  14. Well, from my own experience, it's the elite ones that don't hit like a wet noodle that are the issue.(These are usually a non-issue for tanks and healers, but can be nasty for dps, even with a geared companion) The stronger silver mobs can still be destroyed by ganging up on them with your companion.
  15. Sounds reasonable enough. It could help the leveling of classes/specs that aren't all that good at solo'ing, and just generally spice up the leveling process. That said, it still doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
  16. Did you do any flash points? And if you did, did people actually realize?
  17. There was actually nothing wrong with the initial implementation of the LFG tool. One that worked much like the raid browser they had in WotLK. The reason WoW went to hell is greed. Make the game easier and more accessible -> more people play -> more money is made. Of course, that's fine. It's a business. It's not like making games is a charity. But don't go using WoW "downfall" (which in reality was just solidifying their hold on the market) as an excuse for not implementing a LFG tool because they are completely unrelated. There was a time the LFG tool wasn't a matchmaker. It could matchmake, but it was poorly implemented so nobody used it, and instead used it as a browser to put together their own groups out of a list of people. If anything, I still think the LFG channel is the premier way to go because then people can join when they randomly see someone looking for people even if they initially didn't intend to do any grouping. The LFG channel may be archaic, but it's gosh darn effective.
  18. Getting stuck, jumping against the wall above a door in my ship. For no reason, whatsoever.
  19. It's still not worth it, I have rank 2 and I still get knocked off all the time. People who have rank 3 in my guild are reporting the same thing. Which is the main reason I'm holding off on buying rank 3.
  20. Would be fine. If doing dailies wasn't boring as hell, and wouldn't make me want to blow my brains out with a shotgun.
  21. But I don't have any stances. Well, at least I can rain lightning on absolutely nothing.
  22. As a Sorcerer I don't have the max rank of Tumult and Thrash. I never use them, so I don't see why I should bother even though I can afford buying them.
  23. Fairly sure Jedi wear armor under their robes during times of war. Or it's padded with armor. They don't really need armor, because of Force Speed allowing them to parry and dodge most blaster fire and lightsaber strikes.
  24. Well, it's true that it can be turned off. But on the other hand.. Pink? Really?
