  1. All my toons are lvl 50 on American servers. I am levelling a toon on An Australian server but nothing has changed. I have to wait 2 months to transfer my character, and at that point Ilum still will not be fixed and we will still be doing 95% huttball. The majority of Australians playing the game had the game at the American launch. We were promised transfers when the Australian servers were released. Again Bioware fail to deliver.
  2. Heavy means nothing. The initial server populations are so low that at endgame Ilum becomes a waste of time. Nothing has changed from the American release. And no, it's 1pm on a Saturday.
  3. Australian servers are dead, everyone who wanted the game before its Aussie release bought it. Please open up server transfers ASAP before they fizzle out. Time to get a little smarter Bioware.
  4. See yas. Terrible endgame. Hard to find groups (if you want to PVE) Huttball, Huttball, Huttball, Hutball. 120 sec void, Huttball, Huttball, Huttball, Huttball. Ilum. Need I say more. GMs who do not even read tickets, I put in a ticket once and got an automated response to a completely different issue. 3-4 Week refund period, WFT?????????????????? Rift from day one made you wait no less than a day, on average a few hours. Crazy class balance in pvp. Population cap at launch was to low. Datacron finding was perhaps better thought out than most things endgame, well, at the very least more than Ilum. It was fun while it lasted, the game is not good enough to continue running a subscription. (Sails away into the distance)
  5. Multiple knock backs make 1 charge trivial.
  6. I just fin that when 1/1 I can either win or lose a dual. Which is fine. In a group situation, I find that the utility they bring to the table makes them way to overpowered. To much control of the map. Melee characters get very love when on a platform as we are constantly being knocked off.
  7. Healers always get more medals than dps, tanks always get more medals than both.... On another note.... How do u not get 300k healing?....... You have to be some serious sorts of terrible to not get 300k.
  8. Pure Shockfrozen Water is now consumed on use and has a stack limit of one (instead of two). If you make a system, like the medal type system in SWTOR. Make sure everyone has the same chance at the amount of possible medals. Removing this just cuts pure dps classes from 2 medals. While classes like sorc can just do whatever they want.
  9. In a normal fight, if there is such a thing, what skills should be in use for annihilation spec. (in no order) Deadly saber, Rupture, Annihilate, Assault, battering assault, Vicious slash, Beserk, Frenzy. Situational: Crippling slash, Force choke, Force Camouflage. Did I miss any attacks that get used in an typical fight?
  10. Hey guys. Let me just start out by saying I loved this game from the very first day I picked it up. For me some problems that have come up over the past months have made the endgame experience less than ideal. 1) Server population. For me, this is the big one and leads to most, if not all of the games current issues. I play on the Imperial side, but have made a character on republics side and for starters the imbalance in population is massive. Having only 5 people in the republic fleet in off-peak times may sound reasonable, but it kills any night play. Imperials sit at between 15-40 at night, but overall the servers on release were not allowed to carry as many people as they should have been. 2) Ilum+pvp This stems from a lack of people online, but even in peak times Ilum is almost always dead. Imperials almost always have a higher population and as such, can respond to any Republic threat. Most frustrating is the need to farm armaments. Armaments should be a tie in way to get the weekly and daily done, not the primary method. Add a high imperial population on some servers and you have 15-20 people looking for up to 150 armaments. Pvp is the same, 4 hour pvp Qs to get into a game that only has 120 seconds left. It become frustrating when you re trying to enjoy a game and you are forced to sit for hours at a time. 3) PVE content. The fiery issue of a group finder is well known to people on these forums. For me, even a server only group finder would be highly appreciated. Allot more people would Q for PVE content if they did not have to sit in their respective fleets watching general chat for hours at a time. But again, with such low server populations the waits would be very high. Again, for me, I do not mind if there is one or is not. I think they have forced themselves into either merging servers, or providing a group finder so that the time required to sit around is minimised. yes this lowers community mingling, but the alternatives is a loss of subscription from people expecting more for their time. 4) Communication This perhaps, could be a bigger problem in the future, but at the moment I see little to no communication from Bioaware on issues such as server populations and the Ilum crisis. I saw on MMO champion today the daily blink (Satire), which had the reasons for wows decline in subs. One section had "Players switching to SWTOR" and the next line had almost the exact same number with "SWTOR players switching back (Thanks Ilum!). This tells me that it is a widely known issue, and I am certain that Bioware has a plan, but a lack of communication has left most of us in the dark as to fixes. They should not have to reveal all their secrets, but a simple post informing us that they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix would be nice. In the end, this is just my 2 cents worth. It is not right or wrong it is just an opinion. I just don't know how long I can go on with such low server populations and all the issues that have come with it. Cheers.
  11. Cool, on that note. would you mind posting your (I assume) Ahnia spec please.
  12. Indeed I am talking about Hutball. Just feeling like most of my time is spent getting back to people, when you combine this with heals, shields and those knock backs then it can be difficult to close in for the kill. With starting the fight, how do you reliably close in on a person without using charge? Just seems like it could be painful and dangerous.
  13. I am having trouble closing on ranged targets in pvp. If you open with Force charge, they knock you back, stun/slow you and then you have to fight your way back, at which point your health is almost always gone. If you use unleash then they usually have a stun or knock back after it's use to keep you in place to run at range, meaning you get out of range again, and have to fight your way back. If you don't use charge, you have to run in, meaning they have a chance to get hit's on you, then you get there, they knock back or stun, get out of range, you charge and then you are again half health due to downtime. If you get knocked off a platform then you are up **** creek if you do not have charge, while they are on the ledge taking shot's at you. Any advice?
  14. Please please please please overhaul the ilum and pvp system. Republic have barely any people, we have heaps. I am sick of no pvp in Ilum and sick of having to fight over 20 people for Armors at any point during the night/day. Pvp is the same, long ques at allot of times.
