I somewhat agree, but people still don't really do it. Maybe it's to encourage people to use their tanking abilities.
  2. I suggest changing the dailies to something like "Participate and complete 9 Warzones." Have a loss count as 1 and a win count as 3. That way even losing will eventually get you what you need, it just takes a hell of a lot longer if you don't try to win.
  3. A "pushback" is the time that you lose during a channeled cast when someone attacks you. If you go flying through the air then that's a knockback, not a pushback.
  4. It's great as an extra stun but I don't get much out of it in 1v1. It's helpful for stopping a ball carrier, saving an ally, or stunning an enemy for everyone else to focus them.
  5. I did it at level 49 as Darkness (tank). I used Ashara (DPS companion). He didn't really do much damage, I tanked, Ashara DPS'd and he went down with me still on 100% HP. Just slowly kite around to avoid AoE, interrupt anything dangerous and use a healer if you need. Drag the fight out.
  6. I play as a tankasin and I quite enjoy it in PvP, but only recently. Early levels just doesn't cut it - tanking stats are rare. Once you hit 40+ it gets good. I feel very powerful and have great survivability and quite moderate DPS. I'm good at peeling, snaring, soaking, finishing and (the best) gripping. Just my two cents as a darkness assassin.
  7. I'm male IRL but I always play female characters. Mainly just because they're rarer and I want to help with variety. I didn't realise there was romance in this game, so when Andro started hitting on me I wasn't too sure how to respond, lol. For now I've been nice to him. SWTOR have stated that they will allow same-sex relationships (soon?) so I might chase after Ashara soon
  8. I started with Andro, but have switched to Ashara. I suspect the DPS difference is negligible. My reason for switching is just preference. I'm a tank, so I like my companion to lure enemies in close - I find that if something is attacking Andro the enemy isn't in my range to easily AoE, whereas Ashara is always by my side. Both do great DPS, go with whichever you prefer.
  9. When you are casting a channeled spell and are attacked (with just a melee hit, for example) you are "pushed back". That's what push-back refers to. It doesn't mean you literally fly backwards such as force push. All it means is that normal attacks won't interrupt your force lightning. Hope this helps.
