  1. I would love if they did a big pass and migrated stuff hanging past the waistline to the belt or legs. Like, I don't mind that it exists on the full set. I'd just like the option to use the chestpiece with or without it, or mix and match.
  2. I don't think they would need to do two strongholds, you just have a kind of barbel-shaped map with an outdoor reclaimed area on one side, outdoor ruined area on the other side, and the main stronghold building running between them. With the entrance in the center of the building so you can unlock just the side(s) you want.
  3. Will this also change the number of medals required for the GS and PVP season weekly objectives?
  4. I'm quite happy overall, it's been a fun system to engage with and mix things up from week to week. I'm pretty indifferent to the companions so far. I like Phalanx* the most, she has a more interesting backstory than Fen's criminal enforcement or Altur's... whatever his deal is. More companions that shine a light on old, neglected storylines would be great. I'd also love a companion with customizable armor. I know you don't want Theron showing up in cutscenes in a lime green bodysuit (even though I happen to think it's quite fetching on him) but a non-story, side-content-only companion doesn't need that limitation. It'd also be nice to get companions from more neglected species. (Did you know there's no Mirialan companion?) A more out-there request: maybe pre-KotFE companions who were only brought back for their respective origins could make their way to GS for the rest of us? e.g., Risha, Vector, Mako etc. I don't know quite how that would work for characters who already have them, but I'm sure unlocking them for more characters, and having a few story conversations and some themed cosmetics, would be appreciated. * Side note: I wish whoever keeps naming droids things like PH4-LYX would learn that it's not 2003 and nobody but MMO designers uses l33t sp34k any more. <.< The type of rewards is more or less what I'd like to see included, however, I'm not as enthusiastic about the specific appearances of cosmetics (armor sets, weapons, decorations) - they need more style! I'd also second the notes for a) stackable dyes and b) either fewer GS tokens, or more rewards for them! I've had trouble making room in my inventory for new ones. I've generally enjoyed most of the content choices. I had a space battle objective a few weeks ago and was actually pleasantly surprised by the gameplay. (Finally, all those extra fleet comms from GSF came in handy.) I don't mind GSF in general but I dislike the "earn medals" objective - the limits in what kind of medals you can earn basically means you end up camping satellites in each match until you're finished, which isn't very exciting and, I'm sure, isn't too popular with people who actually want to play GSF. I also find there's an annoying tension with flashpoint objectives between picking the ones you want to do for the objective, and picking all flashpoints for the weekly. Maybe if match-made FPs gave a little extra credit (2 points instead of 1?) so that there was a good chance of finishing in the same amount of effort as a weekly, it would be better? For comparison, the "complete GSF matches" and "complete warzone matches" objectives usually take as long to complete as their respective weeklies. In the last season, I found I haven't completed many world boss objectives. There just aren't enough groups and, for some bosses, the odds of getting a group that can actually complete it are too low for these to be part of my usual rotation. I think the amount of effort per week is about where it should be. I'm neutral on whether the number of weeks completed per season is right. Maybe it could be a bit shorter? To the contrary, I find I pretty much only do content that's part of the season, and when I run out of that I tend to go back to leveling alts. Rewards should be like... 150% more stylish, especially armor sets.
  5. And for people like me who maybe haven't been paying too much attention to story news lately, it's a good reminder that "hey, I should do this content on someone who has X". Granted, this is a pretty obvious case, but if hypothetically there was a story update where Kaliyo or Senya or someone was important, I would hope for a little heads-up of that nature.
  6. Don't know if this was mentioned, but links aren't showing up properly in the post preview on dev tracker. e.g., today's post about 7.1.1 says "patch notes are now available here." but "here" isn't a link like it is in the real post. It's a small inconvenience to have to click through, admittedly, but it's still a bug <.<
  7. According to this thread, the fight with the Purifier Drones is a known bug. There was also a post from Keith about companions' overall performance in level-synced content, but that might not be something they have a fix for right away. I hope they do fix it soon, my sniper is stuck getting dunked on by the GEMINI captain in KotFE chapter 15
  8. Definitely agree, healer companions in general have felt weaker since the patch. I've been farming old heroics for ARMs with a level 50 Mako and she's a lot less effective at keeping me up than before. And when I was doing Chapter 6: Asylum last week for the objective, I had more trouble with the double Strong encounters in the Scion base than the fight with Heskal simply because that fight isn't balanced around having a companion healer.
  9. If you think about it, you needed four people to kill him the first time, so he's gone downhill over the years. (Plus whatsisname surely doesn't count. He's still just a Padawan.)
  10. I've had a few random incidents of companion attacks by different characters running around in the Alliance base - it was T7 once, I think Guss tried it another time. So I think it's just a bug and not anything deeper. ...very weird bug though.
  11. Corso is very high on my list of companions that are not currently killable that I'd like to be able to kill, solely for this reason. On that note, I do hope killable companions remember their state. If I cut down that traitorous son of a hutt Quinn on Iokath, I don't want to see him standing around my bridge in the future.
  12. I seem to recall from the stream that nautolans are not yet implemented, and may not be fully implemented on the PTS. Frankly I'm surprised it works for anyone at all.
  13. My thoughts in no particular order: - I thought the overall rate of getting gear felt good in FPs. I also ran some of the new Onderon dailies and while they helped out renown and conquest, it felt like there wasn't much value to doing them vs. veteran FPs. Maybe if dailies had a tech fragment reward, they would feel more immediately helpful? Random gear drops were also frequent enough to be helpful. - However, the system seems to believe that my Arsenal Merc is a tank, which is obviously less than ideal. I was seeing a lot of defense- and absorb-rating items that I have no real use for. - Renown didn't feel all that rewarding. I got crates at an okay pace - about one per a normal day's activities if I was just playing normally, plus a conquest crate. But with only the one item they weren't all that exciting to get, and they felt very slow in comparison to gear from FPs. I get that they're a supplemental system, but renown is still the main reward of dailies and other missions. (Maybe dailies could drop tech fragments, and/or "complete X daily" missions could drop random items?) - Tech fragments felt okay but not great. Most of the time it seemed like I was just breaking down the items I got anyway, which felt like a waste. Renown and tech fragment yields from disintegrating and disassembling were unimpressive, and between the two, I can't see why I would disintegrate an item instead of turning it into fragments and crafting mats. - I actively dislike jawa junk as a reward. As somebody who doesn't craft, it's difficult to actually derive anything useful from it, like gear or credits. (I used to disintegrate whatever I got out of renown packs.) If there were ways for non-crafters to capitalize directly on jawa junk I'd be much more amenable to having it crop up everywhere. Perhaps it could be traded (presumably at some steep cost) for tech fragments, or just vendored? Overall, gear from primary sources (FPs, drops) feels good, but gear from secondary sources is very slow, unreliable when you do get it, and doesn't feel rewarding to break down. Some other, minor notes: - Renown amounts seem rather high. 160,000 renown per level just feels like a lot, even if it's a totally arbitrary number. - The conquest reward seemed a lot harder to get than on live, but that might just be an artifact of not having my usual stronghold bonus. - The random item from tech fragments costs more than the slot-specific ones; surely it should be the reverse? - Random group drops of at-level green gear in FPs are rather annoying, especially when you think they're going to be personal drops of scaled gear. - Tech fragment drops are treated like credits (shared equally with the group and you get the remainder) even though they're also personal drops (everyone gets their own stack). Not really an issue but it could be confusing to people.
