  1. I thought I'd share, what I view as, some good user interface improvements. -Separate the buff and debuff sections so they can be moved independently of one another. -Allow scaling and vertical/horizontal alignment of buff and debuff sections for yourself and ops members. -Add map scaling for those that increase the size of the entire user interface. -Allow scaling and movement of the "distance to target" section independently. -Allow us to scale the resolve bar independently. -Improve the visibility of who you are targeting in your ops group. -Add a border or banner to the ops leader and make ops lieutenant on par with that. (So we can have more distinct groups in 8-16 man ops.)
  2. Honestly I agree and disagree. Instead of a dps boost i'd much rather see more unique utility. But if we can't get some unique utility our dps should be tops.
  3. This pretty much sums it up. Great post.
  4. I've had the same thing happen to me too op. Even looking for fp pugs.
  5. I've seen this a couple times in the thread. Is this just people doom-saying or is there something to prove this?
  6. Troll spray is getting overly necessary around here. Me listing my opinion in a thread asking for people's opinions is unhelpful? Seriously? I actually gave a list, you didn't even distinguish between merc and power pyro. Preceding that you gave opinions on pvp when the op expressly stated he was asking for opinions on solo pve. Before you criticize other take a long hard look at yourself.
  7. Would also like to know our utility in huttball. Who would ever take us over another class that can do what we can do + more?
  8. My opinion: Power Pyro Arsenal Merc Power Adv Proto Pyro Merc
  9. As the op said remove recommended prices from the GTN. This creates a false market value and undermines crafters, sellers, and buyers. This is because the GTN is setting the default value for an item, where instead the market should determine its price, not some arbitrary calculation of value. Remove orange rewards from quests or flash points that are better than crafted items or add a lot more orange items to crafters that people will desire. With 1.3 coming and people being able to add their own augment slots. I can only see this getting worse. Why not, as others have said, let crafters make augment kits that they can sell? That would make a million times more sense. Also this:
  10. Did you even read my post? It sure doesn't seem like it.
  11. Agreed but people watching should definitely be able to bet. Throwing matches, rigging duels sounds like star wars to me. Also it should be on taris. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Taris_dueling_ring
  12. Completely and utterly moot. The player breaks the terms of service when engaging in credit buying and thus renders any complaints about simulated gambling completely frivolous. The games rating is T for teen. Note the ESRB rating concerning T for Teen: So that kills the "encourages children to gamble" bs. You're right people can and will sue people for any reason at all. But the worst thing people can do is stop commerce or improving simply because they are afraid of a lawsuit or legal troubles. EA retains a huge legal department and there is no reason for them to be afraid of adding simulated gambling to a game that is rated to have simulated gambling. Especially since gambling in star wars is such a huge piece of lore.
