  1. In a word, NO. (I've unsubbed and my free time ends tomorrow, I believe.) Primary reason - my server's a GHOST TOWN! The tumble weeds don't even blow thru here any more....DAYYYYHUMM! I got stuff to sell and nobody to sell it to. Secondary reason - leveling is too dam easy! I don't play a MMO to see how many lvl 50 alts I can create in record time. Good luck to all you die-hard mothas out there! If the game ever gets out of BETA before being totally shutdown, maybe I'll revisit it. -Sneaky
  2. "Sound" in general is one of SWTOR's BIGGEST PROGRAMMING CHALLENGES imo. The game has such intricate and beautiful sounds, too - from the ambient noise and saber slashing to the music and voice overs; there is so much GRAND sound to appreciate. But it's all for naught, because the programmers suck hard in this area. What a shame and a waste of the creative talent. OP, I couldn't agree with you more!
  3. Back in my day... Telengard was my FAVORITE GAME! Commodore 64 FTW, Baby! YEAH
  4. Ok, so there's a new standard operating procedure in SWTOR: From now on before I log out, I will take off ALL OF MY GEAR (on all my toons) to avoid possibly logging in and finding ALL my **** gone. Guess I better buy some extra inventory space. This is some sad SITH!
  5. I'll tell you how - SABOTAGE! BioWare, you've been infiltrated! In the dawn of other games coming out, you pull this??? Hmm...You got not just a few infiltrators, but like your storyline goes for one of your classes - you have many, many infiltrators from your competitors in your ranks. (And some of them are high up on the food chain, too, I suspect!) They are TAKING YOU DOWN from the INSIDE!!! Seriously, though, there's incompetence and then there's..... THIS! You have to wonder...is it deliberate:rak_02: In other words... Don’t log in… WOW!!! /facepalm
  6. Seriously??? Ok...you see those mobs over there in the weeds, KILL those Mothas!!! And after you kill them, kill a few more! Do a little more KILLING instead of avoiding everything on your way to your missions, and you'll have so much XP, you'll out level your content if you're not careful.
  7. Well, I hope BioWare doesn't fix the sound problems the way they fixed the GTN problems. Because if they do, they'll just MUTE EVERYTHING and chalk it up as fixed. What a sad sack of SITH! /facepalm
  8. This is a serious example of the HAVE's and the HAVE-NOT's. LOL! Well, I'm not as filthy rich as some of you guys. I got just over 7 Mil atm. (I had over 10 mil pre 1.2, but I spent some creds on the legacy stuff and other goodies. And I'd have more if they'd fix the dang GTN! ) NO TAXING THE RICH!!!!
  9. Hey, bro... I hear you. But here's the deal - if you do all of the side quests on a planet plus your story line, you'll probably start to out-level the content for the next world. And every world that you continue to do the above will move you a little further out than what you experienced on the previous planet. This has been my experience. I, like you, love doing all of the content and experiencing the Star Wars lore. But BioWare didn't design the game to be played by one toon imo. They designed it for the majority, meaning that it caters to the kind of player that doesn't like to do "every" quest available. (Most folks feel that doing every quest is a "grind" and not fun.) So for folks like you and me, you have to alter your approach a bit or you will be disappointed with the over-all experience. What I did was abandon my first toon at lvl 28. He was so far ahead - about 5-6 levels. And like you, he was facerolling the mobs in his storyline content. So I started a new toon of the same class. But this time, I didn't do any of the bonuses and selected only the side missions that sounded most intersting. I took that toon up to level 50 and never had the problem of being grossly ahead of the content. (I was even behind at certain points in my 40s.) The next toon I created, I did some of the missions that I had skipped on my lvl 50 toon. (Some I repeated because they were too dang fun..lol! Others were totally new to me.) This was a good approach for me, because once you get to Coruscant, all the side quests from that point forward are the same for every toon. The next toon that I'll make will probably get me finished with all of the possible side missions. Then I'll turn my sights on doing more flashpoints and some PVP perhaps. (Oh and I want to complete all of the the space missions on one of my toons at some point.) I'm going to do the above on every class on Republic and then on the Imp side. So far, the stories are pretty good. I've enjoyed them! I hope this approach helps you if you read this. -Sneaky
  10. I really like the challenge of just one medpack per fight when soloing H4's. It forces me to use all of my skills, including heroic moments. I also incorporate some guerrilla tactics - the terrain becomes just as much of a weapon as my saber. And I love seeing the AI's reactions and countering moves. You have to really think about when to hit, when to run and when to go all out...FUN STUFF!
  11. BioWare, I typically average between 20 - 40 sales a day of various stuff on the GTN. My total so far today with only 3.5 hours left in the day - ZERO SALES! (Check the logs!) Gotta love your GTN "Improvements" ....NOT!!! The BioWare SWTOR Motto: "One step forward, THREE steps back!" -SPIT-
  12. I just want BioWare to fix the dagnabbit GTN Search feature that they broke with 1.2 so people can find my dagnabbit items on the GTN. There was a person trying to buy something on the GTN yesterday in Fleet and found zero items, so they spoke in General chat - "Is the GTN empty? I can't find any relics." I told them to change the Rarity option to cheap. But the issue is this - how many buyers simply assume there aren't any "whatever items" available and just move on quietly? With populations already low, I need all the buyers I can get, dagnabbit! The bugs are hurting an already weak game economy! I'm just trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents!!!! 1.2 BUGS = THE END of SWTOR
  13. You say what you said but neglect to mention what SERVER YOU'RE ON!!! Hello, McFly???? Seriously??? Do you work for BioWare or what? Or are you here just trying to cause confusion??? /facepalm
  14. Ok, Darth_Moonshadow, you got me! You and your dang Flashback machine! I hear you, bro... there's no easy fix to this problem. Funny commentary, though! Goodnite, All
  15. I'm shocked that this is still not in the game. But, then again, BioWare likes "UGLY." Maybe it'll be in ver 3.0 in a couple of years or so.
  16. Sendai, now that was worth quoting! (Thank you for saying it.) And I agree with you! SneakyTurd - "BioWare Gods, I just got beat down like a dog in that 100 vs 3 PVP match! But I fought back as hard as I could, dagnabbit! May I have some compensation, please... a crumb of bread, a sip of water???" BioWare Gods - "NO!"
  17. Like the OP said, as it is when we /dance, please make the dancing with our comps infinite if possible. Thank you.
  18. You know, Bioware, this is the kind of thing where although it's an insignificant perk, you put it in the game for a reason. And that reason is because you know some of your clients would enjoy it. But, c'mon, why half-arse do it??? To implement it and have it be a 3 second dance makes you wonder why you did it at all. (Don't hiccup or sneeze because you'll miss it.) Did you do this just to tease us? Why 3 seconds? How about just one second, then, if that's your goal since you've made it pathetic. In my opinion for something like this, any time duration less than 10 seconds, and you can't really appreciate it for what it is. Instead of it being something that I thought was gonna be cool... it was just a waste and a disappointment.
  19. To the OP, Ok, I hear what you're saying...you've got a boat-load of toons (more than most) and you cannot remember "easily" what skills you had on which toons. I totally understand how rebuilding in your case is a pain in the arse. But like one guy/gal said earlier, this happens in MMOs and they have a needed reason to do the respec. With that said, here's my solution... I periodically screen shot my trees for my toons and keep them on file. So when a reset happens, it's no big deal to put things back. Once you get your toons set back up, then screen shot them all. I hope this helps you in the future. (It made it easy for me to put my toons' specs back in minutes.) Good day, all!
  20. That's nice, my server did have only 3 people on fleet this morning.
  21. It's a fashion statement... "Clown" is the new black. LOL! (I'm sorry, but you made me laugh )
  22. Yup! I found the same thing out earlier and posted it. Apparently, I'm not the only one experiencing this issue... http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=405254
  23. I just noticed that my Nadia companion wasn't hitting quite as hard as she did pre-1.2. So I checked her stats, and sure enough her melee damage range was lower (everything was lower - hp, armor rating, etc.) Her damage range used to be 694 -857 pre 1.2. But now it was 639 - 802. Next, I did some testing and figured out which pieces of gear were not registering in her stats - the two implants and the ear-piece. I took them off and put them back on her, and afterwards her stats were all correct (hp, armor, and damage - 694-857) went up to pre-1.2 numbers. The problem reoccurs, though, if I send her on a crew skills task, get on/off my speeder, log out or do anything where she has to be "recalled." Upon her return, she loses her stats from the aforementioned pieces. I did the same tests with Qyzen and got the same results. (I suspect all my comps have this disease.) Check your companions' stats and do the above testing. It's affecting Consulars and might be affecting all classes. I think we have a 1.2 bug here.
  24. Yes, I have sound issues galore. My skill sounds are late or not happening at all, and my comps sound like they're talking to me thru two aluminum cans connected by a wire.
