Agree. Tech Medic is garbage. I'm bouncing between 2 tacticals, Rocket Fuel Vapors and Running Rapid Restoration. Both are good for PVP and PVE. Which do you prefer?

I wasn't impressed with the set bonuses of the Tech Medic Set I grinded out so I decided to give Concentrated Fire a try. I kept the Running Rapid Restoration tactical. I found the performance much better and a bit more tankier. With Concentrated Fire's 6 pc bonus which makes Supercharge pop quicker and the skill that give more defense under Supercharged, I've been far more effective as a healer. I did fine with Tech Medic, but the increased survivability I get with Concentrated fire enables me to heal more effectively even under heavy pressure. Has anybody else tried it and found the same?

IMO, Bioware have gone the route of a Blizzard game, but not the one you're thinking, WoW, but have built something similar to the Diablo 3 in the SWTOR universe. A major GRINDFEST where all gear drops are RNG. Similar to Diablo, after many hours of Grinding and being at the mercy of the RNG Gods, I wanna murder kittens.

Just looking for 1 more dps and we are GTG. Looks like the raiding days will be 2 days on Wed, Fri or Sat. Thanks

God, I just got a B O N E R. I think I need help.

So I got this whisper after a pvp match. I erased the name of the person to PROTECT THE STUPID. My first thought was "there are really still people like this playing SWTOR and PVP-ing" They accuse me of hacking because I killed them too quickly and Tanks shouldn't be able to do this. Tanks shouldn't be able to get protection numbers and kill that quickly...REALLY!!?!! This person obviously didn't realize that I wasn't a tank. Even though I'm setting them on fire with Incendiary Round and Hitting them with Assault Plastique which is the Assault VG top tier skill. The person also doesn't understand that I get protection numbers when I single and aoe taunt which I use very liberally in WZ. I hope this person realizes how stupid their comment was and how stupid it really makes them look....L2P!!! I guess your pretty good at PVP when people start accusing you of HAX...LOL!! I think VG DPS are in a good place right now with the recent buff to Assault. PVE I am now easily holding my own going through HM ops. We are just starting Ni with my progression team. In PVP the BURST in Assault spec is back. May not be like the old days (*sigh*....Carolina Parakeet) I regularly get 10K HIB Crits and usually top the DPS and medal charts as well as cross the 1 Million damage threshold quite frequently. My PVE Gear is comprised of full 180's with DF Relics, Implants and Ear and for my PVP gear, Brut Ear, Imp, MH, OH, the rest is Obroan. Can't wait until I'm full Brut. Thx for reading! Been away for a bit and like many of us, really hated the thought of going through the PVP gear grind., but with the info presented in this thread and the thoughtful discussion and testing that has been done, I am now immediately back into PVP-ing and doing well I might add. I want to thank the OP and everybody that participated in testing out various options. IMO this is the best PVP thread in the forums and should be stickied. Thx Shinigami Harbinger

Like the changes. I main a Scoundrel for PVE Heals and DPS but run with a VG for PVP. After 2.6, I should expect to be knocked flat on my face being punched (Scrapper) or stabbed (Concealment) more often.....I really didn't miss that....

I ops on my pyro and don't spec into AP at all. Would rather put skills elsewhere and getting off 2-3 IP's in the same time as 1 AP will give me more damage. I easily parse out 3K+ on the training dummy. My gear is very similar to yours. Maybe better in one slot. I'll put together my build in Mr Robot and upload some parses so we can discsuss. I bounce between 7/8/31 and 8/731. Both give me about the same damage.

Sigh....Miss those days of running Carolina Parakeet and Iron Fist...those were good days.

↑ THIS. I do very well running assault but Tactics is also a great spec. For me it's just personal prefernce and I prefer assault, not saying its better or worse, just works for me.
