I tanked in EQ2 (as a Guardian) for 6 years or so, from small groups to high end raids, and I find this game much harder to tank in. I don't know if that's due to that fact I was so indoctrinated into the EQ2 style or what, but I seem to struggle (having said that I haven't tanked at max level in this game so far).

I never played SWG, but I always wish I had (I was playing EQ2 from launch until last year). There's a good article about the end of SWG in this months PC Gamer. In a nutshell, they claim the death of SWG was due to SOE panicking that everyone wanted to be a jedi, so sacrificed the entire game to let everyone do it much easier.
