  1. Hello, I am not sure if this is even possible but if I want to go other planets I am a lot of times discouraged by long loading of it (and no, I have a good computer). So are there any ways to reduce this time? Not that it is ubearable but if I compare this with other MMOs with open world.... well it is a big loss for SWTOR. Example: I log in on fleet (ofc it is loading at beggining) - run to ship (loading) - set curse and leave ship (loading). So first suggestion which I am not sure is possible: When you set curse on ship, is it possible to slowly load the planet even while in a ship without interuption of the game (loading screen)? I mean you can still write into chat or do other staff in ship while planet is loading somewhere at background - it can even be 10 times slower then normal loading via loading screen. Scond of all, can general chat be available in your ship while on the orbit of the planet? And the last thing, is it possible that you load your ship together with the planet? Meaning no loading time when entering a ship, rather a little longer while loading the planet? Thanks.
  2. Hello everyone, I really miss interaction of ma companions on personal star ship. Everybody stays on one place and does nothing. I suggest that they will be walking and talking with each other and if possibly with personal character as well. Another thing but this one much more complicated: after finishing your class story line, reaching max affection with your companions (in general after all possible cinematic on the ship) you could buy or steal a new one! Even blank one and you would refurnish by yourself. Thank you.
  3. Hello everyone. I know that the reason why specific classes cannot choose different ships is due to cinematics and class quests set in the ships. However will it be possible that after reaching lvl55 with all class quests done and all quests with companions done as well, you will do superquest (which will be available only after mentioned conditions) and could buy new ship? Even switching to existing ships.... There is a possibility to sell new ships in GTM or to buy accomodations for you ship. And old topic: will it be possible that from 2.0 you could have some interactions on ships? My companions stay on one place doing nothing and it seems that the ship is completely empty. They could walk, talk with each other, train combat, etc etc.... if they have quest available for you, you will find them

  5. Yes and no.... If you have all the cinematic questes done, only then you will be able to start a quest for new ship and/or ship modifications. New quests with cinematics on the ship will of course be adapted to this situation.

  7. Well there are definitely points for and points against punishment. But I still haven't read any argument why a player who is joining WZ after a leaver should suffer in a damaged game (lets face it, usually it is a lost game) while he had no contribution on that. And you have to take into consideration that here on forums there are in general good PvPers and I understand that they spent a lot of time to get their gear/strategy/playstile on perfect level. However thare are leavers who are responsible for loosing the game as much as players who are staying. There are ones with bad gear or no effort to do something extra... there are ones who doesnt report and then quit after loosing a turret/ get bomb planted. I think that advanced PvPers wont have a problem loosing couple WZCs for leaving WZ, but it will definetely help players I mentioned above to stay. There are plenty of other issues to discuss but I sugest creating a new topic for that so that it wont get messy.
  8. And what about 15 minutes of the guy who is replacing you? Doesn't that bother you? Anyway one more time... I dont what this idea to be taken that this should prevent leavers to leave. I dont care that much about them. I care about the guys who are replacing them (in 90% of the games they are joining loosing game).
  9. I am glad that there is a discussion going on. But I think it is not going the direction I was hoping for. My original idea was not aimed wether leaving (with any reason) is right or wrong. Because at the end it doesn't matter. What maters is the if you leave lets say that team is unbelievable noobish (as I read many argument stating this), than you are really selfish to the player who is replacing you.... Does it mean that what is not good for you might be good for him? Have you ever thought about that guy? Or just ragequit? I dont want to discuss what efect does it have on WZ... I think it might even help, but that is not my point. My point is that you choose to quit for desperate situation and let somebody else deal with that crap... That is not fair and you should compensate it. 30 WZC is not that much and for pro PvP players might be a good bargain. We can even go further and sugest that amount of WZ compensation can rise by time since start (or joining). There are of course other issues in WZs... Some of which might be dealt with votekick... Some not so simple. But I dont want to discuss it in this topic. It would get messy. I want to discuss original idea. Which is you should be considerate to fellow player who is replacing you. PS: I just leave it here: Leaving is baaad, okaaay. So dont leave, okaaay :-)
  10. Well those 30 comms was more meant that it is unfair for players who join game after quiters... so a litle compensation is quite fair. And leavers can still leave (its not that much) if the game is noobish. Ofc no penalty if you leave game before it starts or after lets say 30 sec after joining. I take it that it is not perfect but better than it is now
  11. Quick suggestion: For leaving WZ prematurely player will loose lets say 30 commendations. New players who enter already started WZ will get it as compensation. Details not necessary

I would like to know your opinion who would you prefer play (general) WZs with (meaining who has a higher value in WZs): Tank Vanguard / Powertech with tank gear Tank Vanguard / Powertech with dps gear DPS Vanguard / Powertech (with dps gear) I know that for different WZs there is different optimal build however I want to keep it simple. Thank you all for your contributions, I value all constructive opinions. PS: no flame

Hello, I just wanted to ask if there are any plans for interaction of companions on character's ship... to explain, they will be moving, comunicating with each other and not just standing on one place, everybody at different part of the ship doing nothing. The ship now looks "empty". Thank you.
