  1. I just completed the entire Makeb storyline and wasn't granted this codex entry, in spite of Dulfy and other sites stating that you get it by completing the first Makeb mission. I thought I'd try again with another character, and completed the first mission and bonus as well, and the codex still wasn't granted. Something's bugged here. This is the only lore entry I don't have to obtain my Loremaster title. Grr.
  2. The tank can't pull the boss during the spin attack. He's stationary. That's on the healer for being derpy.
  3. Cartel packs are cheaper in bulk, why aren't server transfers? Give me a logical reason why they shouldn't be other than "I don't want them to be."
  4. This change was clearly noted in the 2.0 patch notes. It is not BW's fault you haven't kept up with 9 month old changes.
  5. Ever think that if you didnt communicate interrupt order prior to the fight, the other DPS may also have hit interrupt on the first channel like you did, and is also on cooldown?
  6. Your entire post is invalid. If that guild allows officers to remove people from the guild, then by definition they HAVE the power to remove, and don't need to go through the GM. Just because YOU manage your guild that way doesn't mean all guilds should or do. You can, as GM, set the guild ranks to allow/disallow any rank to Invite OR remove. If that guild's officers have removal powers, the GM trusts their judgement enough to allow them to remove players. Simple as that. You're welcome to run your guild a different way, but stating that your way is the ONLY way is in fact erroneous.
  7. The first story mission for the Imperial Agent on Taris will cause the conversation to crash if you have Treek out as your active companion. You have to bring anyone else.
  8. Or, 4) someone who already has better gear is hitting need, knowing that with legacy armor sets you can just mail the pieces to an alt.
  9. Except that doing it would require a drastic overhaul of the UI and companion system, which I'd rather they devote time into QOL improvements rather than anti-grouping facilitation, personally. Even though I'd do the content myself when given the chance.
  10. Maybe you wouldn't be attacked if you didn't constantly cry (on average) every 3 days for the same thing. Your class isn't more special than the other 7. Every class needs tweaks, adjustments, and balancing. Any class can be the "worst" at a role as long as there are more than one class and spec. For almost a year, a merc/mando was completely unusable in PVP. From 1.15 (when they changed Surge calculations) until 2.0, scoundrel/operative DPS wasn't worth playing in any PVE content. Yours happens to get to be at the bottom for now. As has been stated DOZENS of times in your dozen threads, you're not the first class to be in that position. Plus, your arguments will have much much more credibility if it looks less like the incessant whining of a teenager. Please proofread your posts so that they're readable, and stop creating the same thread four times a weekend because you didn't get a response in the last one. Furthermore, "O defend myself but its gettig old" is probably very difficult for the many non-English speaking users to comprehend on this forum. To be taken seriously, you must first appear to be serious - and credible. Seriously. You're not helping anything, The devs have stated they're aware of the issues between class balancing. They aren't going to drop everything to fix your problems this very second. Either solve the problem yourself by playing another class, or speak with your wallet and unsub. Regardless of which you choose, when the classes *are* rebalanced your sin will be right there waiting for you.
  11. Caveat: I have not read the thread. On what planet does this make sense? On the planet where you've now created 13 threads in the past month about this exact same topic, in one permutation or another.
  12. Or, you could roll a Cybertech, reverse-engineer some stuff, spam some schems, and get your 66 mods in full purples(!) in about five to six hours. Seriously. It's that easy. 66 blues are good enough gear to run any endgame story mode content. You can run dailies to support your crafting costs while doing this and even some heroics, getting some planet comms, which you can use to buy l58 enhancements, which are *plenty good enough* for story mode ops. From there, you can run HMFP and SM ops and get to full 69s in about a week. If you're talented, you can get to full 72s in a couple weeks from there by running with a decent guild and/or being lucky with drops. This doesn't count of course your ability to have 72s crafted for you. The only person preventing you from progressing your gear is *you*.
  13. Want to know how I know you're not reading the thread? You quoted someone else's message yet you responded to my points. I'm not the same guy as the person you responded to. Here's why reassigning names - whether randomly or not - is bad. If someone claimed a name, they have rights to it, unless they're told going in that they don't. Until BW changes the name paradigm, no amount of wanting it to change matters a great deal. This is now page 7 of this thread that is probably the 300th thread of this same topic that's posted. You propose communication and giving players a month's notice or more. Even then, you'll have players that are deployed or otherwise unavailable who will lose their name through no fault of their own. That will drive them away from the game. Your desire to allow people to lose names will cause players to leave the game or will otherwise fracture the playerbase because they aren't able to login during your arbitrary time frame. Do you understand this? Here's the only "fair" solution. Change the Terms of Service to include a line that states that any player not logged in within 30, 60, 90, whatever days may have their name changed to a default random name. Publicicze this change extensively. And then prepare for the still impending firestorm as players whine that someone "stole their name" while they were playing another game/deployed/on vacation/in hospital/otherwise unable to login. This way, if someone doesn't want their name stolen, they'll know going in that they have to login every X days. Or, of course, you could get over your anti-multilingual "immersion" and realize that extended characters and/or an apostrophe once in a while won't kill your gameplay. Just a suggestion. Half of my characters have to use an extra letter, an extended character, or an apostrophe, and I've been here since Month Two. I got over it.
  14. You want a logical argument? Here's a few. "You are not a special snowflake." "You don't deserve something someone else has just because you want it." "It's not up to you to determine who should and should not have a character name." I'd like them to do a name purge also, but the fact is, until they announce it, no amount of forum QQ will cause any changes. You do *not* deserve *ANY* name that is currently taken by another character. Get over it. You're not more or less special than the player who got it first. First come, first served.
  15. I dunno, maybe one West coast server for the entire western half of the USA, plus APAC players, plus the fact that it's the highest load server so some people auto-roll on it? That's part of why I left. I miss some of you good folks, but I don't miss the monthly server crashes during my playtime.
