  1. Always spoke in third person, for 2 years of playing Phantasy Star Universe, including on the forums for it:) Good times, many people got peeved.
  2. Sorry, Maybe i misread your post and thought you was posting your referral link to others. If you haven't , and clicked one of them by mistake, there should not be action taken, except maybe the cartel parcel taken back. Sorry again for confusion
  3. One person starts a thread apologizing for exploiting in the hope of getting away with it, and now more people are starting them. I hope you get banned, because I bet you posted your link somewhere. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ A million times this!
  4. In photobucket when you click your actual picture, so it shows the picture and you can click to go to next one ect. there is box on side, with "IMG, HTML, DIRECT" and such, you can click direct and post that link and it will go directly to pic. If you dont want to post a picture, then no worries, Ill go look in game and turn grphics wayyy up, but hopefully that helps you in the future at least in some way
  5. The first run of the event, on my server at least, people used to queue up to use the pylon. It was quite a sight actually. Now people don't care and its just a free for all. I miss them days, if not for the community spirit and co-operation.
  6. Depends on the skill of the player using the gunship really
  7. I remember this. The good ol' days!
  8. From a thread called "How to even the PvP playing field in this game" And people are saying that this isn't an exploit and whatnot. Yeah....
  9. Get the link for the picture. I use photobucket a lot, and I just go to my bucket, select the pic, right click and open in new window, then copy and paste that link. http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/g345/Craigus94/2012-05-26_00001.jpg <- A link to a picture using that The just URL it and you're away! (I dont think pictures work on this part of forum)
  10. Nemo censetur ignorare legem Nobody is thought to be ignorant of the law (not a law they broke, but the sentiment is the same) Anyway, I like that you agree he's a moron.
  11. Granted, but she looks like Susan Boyle crossed with Jabba the Hutt. I wish I could go back, redo and change the last 5 years of my life (Im 19, boooo me)
  12. I seem to remember that too. Maybe I just have false memory syndrome
  13. I can understand them perfectly well, I also understand they are full of total BS
  14. ^ This An in-game ban of some sort is warranted, be that a perma-ban or a three month ban. Really it would have to be done on a case by case basis, which I doubt will happen and why I suspect that NOTHING will be done to punish those who have exploited this, bar maybe having the items purchased revoked and referrals wiped.
  15. Please don't defend them. They are making up hypothetical situations that didn't happen. I suspect that the "referred friend, they didn't know it was less than 90 days ago" will have happened to a very small amount of people that may have improperly used the referral system, and most of the people claiming this are liars. The fact is Elminster put their link out into the wide open internet, hoping to gain free stuff they aren't entitled to. He/she then covered up by spouting this BS that it isn't their fault for people clicking, but still put the link out there knowing that someone who shouldn't be able to be referred may accidentally click it. They are still accountable for their actions. From a thread the started: Now It is clear to me that English isn't there first language (No offense intended) so ill clear it up. "There is no longer the restriction that you haven't been a subscriber in the last 90 days, or did I miss something? Because if you are a subscriber and havent been referred I will get CC and you get rewards" They clearly either didn't read the page, or were telling people that restriction was gone, and encouraging them to click there link. I guess the latter.
  16. I'm pretty sure the devs will know how long someone has subscribed. Account information would track that sort of thing. Stop digging yourself a deeper hole. And lol? Why are you calling me 89, a bit random and off topic.
  17. Yeah yeah, you just like having lateral movement speed (or whatever the description says) increased xD I agree tho, these mounts are pretty cool looking. Although I'm for more colours, I like the "exclusiveness" of them as they are. The novelty of something wears off it everyone has one. J/s
  18. Its your fault. I can guarantee that, you in particular, are not innocent in all of this, and directed your referral link to subscribers, else you wouldn't be so defensive and act like you have done nothing wrong, as have many other people who have exploited this. And the fact you would be handing your referral link out like that in lieu of the whole "subscribers can be referred" fiasco really highlights the fact you want subscribers to click it, but you don't want to be held accountable for your actions. Your thread you made earlier really proves that, considering that you was lying in it and said the referral system intentionally includes active subscribers. Don't try to pull this whole "I'm innocent, It's not my fault, I did nothing wrong, How was I to know who would click my link" ******** on me, I'm not stupid and I'm not buying the whole act. I reeallllyyyy hope you get banned.
  19. I am three years older than this kid, I know 16 year olds and younger who wouldnt be that stupid, and when I was 16, I wouldn't have been that stupid either (Admittedly I did some stupid stuff around 14/15, but then I grew up and started thinking before doing.) "Ignorantia juris non excusat", Ignorance of the law excuses no one. Just because he may or may not have known this was bad or an exploit, he still did it. A forum ban is basically a slap on the wrist. I doubt that anyone would actually care about it, as opposed to an in-game ban.
  20. Get a brain and work out that Bioware (essentially) giving out thousands of cartel coins to a player is not WAD. "500 Complimentary Cartel Coins plus 100 Cartel Coins for each month your referred friend remains a Subscriber" If 5 people click your link, and resubscribe in the next fourteen days, you have received £12 worth of Cartel coins for free. It is fine if they are new players, because it is there to encourage NEW players to try out the game, and spend money on it, thus making EA/Bioware more money. The problem lies in the fact that you have NOT used the system to attract new players, but instead piggy-back off existing customers and players, who would have continued to pay and play this game without your intervention, thus you are receiving benefits you are NOT entitled to. And the thing is, I bet more than five people would have clicked your link, thus giving you MORE stuff you arent entitled to. If this was WAD, I could give out my referral link to my entire guild, of which 20-30 are active subscribers. That would give me up to 15000 cartel coins, or little over £70 worth of cartel coins, plus an extra 3000 a month. I would have NOT increased the sales to EA/Bioware, as those people were already paying and playing, and I would have gotten £70+ worth of goods from them I was not entitled to. That is why it is an exploit. You are stupid, I hope you get banned, I hope everyone who has been doing this gets banned. Use your brain a little tiny bit before you act on something like this.
  21. Not when it's going on across all 3 instances The fact remains that although you can switch instances, it's still stupid and unfair for other players, and its only funny for a small period of time, then it just comes sad.
  22. Refer to my earlier post - 'Murica Seriously tho, I'd buy a server transfer and move to a nicer place.
