  1. Just tried looking for someone in the guild for an invite but no luck - whats the average number logged on any given evening?
  2. How many active accounts are in your guild? When are your scheduled Ops runs during a regular week? Thanks
  3. As the title says, I am in search for an APAC guild that runs Ops that suit the above time zone. My primary toon is in a mixture of 220/224 gear. Please drop me a message or a response if your guild is looking for an active player who has been in sub since launch. TYVM
  4. Hi Ive been a player since launch, primarily on the Imp side. DPS is my primary focus since the start. I have full or almost full set gear for all of my Lev 60s. Was previously in an APAC centric server before all the merging took place. I am presently in an APAC guild but all Ops and group activities are primarily catering for those on AEST. It is a pleasure to finally see a guild that is GMT+8 friendly for a change especially since it covers most of Asia as well as AWST. I am keen to come on board to take part in regular (weekday) Ops and group activities. I spoke to one of your members late last night (11.30ish PM, GMT+8) - he was the only one logged in at the time. Your guild came recommended by a former guild mate. Let me know when is a good time to log in during the evenings for an invite. My main is a Merc-Arsenal. Thanks
  5. Hey hey! A number of us from different guilds have come together to form a progression (non-elitist) guild from ground up. We are committed to clearing content and bosses but will not give someone a hard time, exclude them or make them feel marginalised just because they have difficulty, so long as they put in a fair effort to learn, take in constructive feedback and demonstrate a willingness to move onwards and upwards. Most in the guild have had fair experience with most Ops and all FPs and are in a position to provide guidance where and when required. We are small in number at this stage and are not on any mission to expand our numbers just for the sake of expanding our headcount. We are easy going, casual and mature in our approach and attitude. The GL is also our RL. There are a few other members who were former leaders of their own guild so they know what it takes to make a guild work. We are now in open recruitment phase and will take toons regardless of role or class. Our Ops days at this stage are 9.30pm onwards (GMT +8: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Perth, Malaysia, Singapore) on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays being optional if we have certain targets for the week that we could not hit or if there are members who want to do something specific we have not done yet for the week. If you are interested in joining us please whisper in-game to Aurrandeth, Evilexia, Ponytail, or Whitefurr. See ya!
  6. Do you have an Ops team that caters to GMT +8 (Perth / Singapore / Hong Kong)
  7. Hiya Im just starting my first assassin toon - could someone advise in light of the changes introduced to date is the assassin more effective in PVE as a Tank or DPS? ty
  8. Does your guild cater for players based on AWST?
  9. On hindsight I wish I started with a Pub toon because there [appears] to be more guilds that favour that faction that fit with my time zone.
  10. My primary toon is a Merc (RDPS) with mostly 72s in gear. I have been away for a period - I am looking for an APAC friendly guild that has regular / scheduled Ops on weekday evenings from about 8pm (GMT +8) onwards. Was a loyal and active member of an Ops progression guild when I was in Dalborra till it fragmented due to the departure of its leaders. Please let me know on this thread or via email ( pravus [DOT] deus [AT] gmail [DOT] com )
  11. Which time zones are your Ops runs scheduled for and how often do they happen in a week?
  12. POSITION: Security Officer 1) I am a mercenary for hire with a long list of accomplishments that have earned me the favourable attention of and credits from members of the Dark Council and Imperial Grand Moffs on many worlds. My tools of trade and skills are as well managed and refined as my personal well-being, consequently ensuring my employer receives the best instrument for his/her task that he/she is prepared to pay for. The C-Corporation will be well placed in employing me as a member of its security personnel, particularly for tasks most others find squeamish or distasteful. Ensure my remuneration and I will ensure you will have your job done and dusted professionally with minimal mess, if any. I am motivated by Czerka's long history of radical developments and its keen and cunning eye on the ebb and flow of the galaxy-spanning market place - there is much I can learn from an organisation such as this as my employer. 2) a) In completing a long list of classified objectives for the Empire, I reclaimed the world of Makeb for the Imperial forces and earned myself the title of 'Terror of Makeb'. Surely that stands be in good stead for the role I am applying for. b) I was victorious in the Great Hunt, a galaxy spanning contest to identify the best bounty hunter for the present time. c) Assisted Sith Lords and Grand Moffs on a long list of planets on numerous security related matters ensuring their larger schemes and objectives were achieved. Records of these multitude of achievements are available in the security data of the planets under Imperial control. 3) The above accomplishments with a single minded focus on getting the job done and done well to meet and exceed my employer's expectations so as to ensure my remuneration and all discretionary bonus payments and future contracts are secured. Yes, I would do whatever it takes for success - this is beyond doubt! 4) My moral compass only moves for a small and very select group of people and issues. For all else, particularly where it concerns fulfilling a contract, my moral compass has no role in the task at hand. 5) I will alert my colleague an request he re-confines his experiment, if he/she is unable or unwilling to, I will apprehend him/her for questioning for the security threat he/she has created and thereafter attempt to re-confine the experiment failing which I will destroy it. If said colleague resists arrest, I will attempt non-lethal methods to subdue and apprehend, failing which I will destroy him/her on grounds of (1) creating a security threat, (2) failing to control or confine the threat after reasonable notice, (3) failing to co-operate, (4) resisting arrest, and (5) employing violence against a member of the security personnel of Czerka (if and where applicable). Barbatos Mal, Terror of Makeb.
  13. Are most members located on AEST? Im keen to apply if youre receptive to catering for AWST Ops runs once or twice a week - please let me have your thoughts
  14. Given recent server transfers could you please specify which time zone are your Ops and guild-wide events generally pegged to?
  15. Yes, I am very well aware there is a consolidated thread for this topic but for a number of reasons I felt it necessary to create (yet another) thread regarding this matter. The lack or the extremely limited amount of necessary details being provided regarding what by all accounts will be a significant administrative exercise supposedly due TODAY defies reason and leaves one wondering about how the folks in charge at BW/EA perceive and regard the players of this game. The arrogant tone that I have seen on occasion by one or more members of management in the past provides certain hints but I digress ... Given that it was announced over the weekend (APAC time) that the date the transfers for the APAC servers will be taking place will be today, one would have reasonably expected sufficient details would have been provided by now (i.e. by the date and time that applies to players on the APAC servers), not this murky grey nothingness - leaving those of us who play this game on these servers with little if any idea as to how this exercise will be undertaken (without referring to past server transfers for info which would be less applicable today given the numerous new features that have been added to the game since then) and what its implications will be for various aspects and features. Instead we get a graphically well designed email this morning about more junk being shoved through the cartel market (not due today, not due tomorrow, not even due this Friday, but on the 11th!!!!) - if this doesnt speak volumes about where the company's priorities are regarding this game and how much value it accords to its players' gaming experience, nothing will!
  16. I SECOND THIS IDEA! Last week on Dalborra I went through a low lev FP with an alt and much to my disbelief which was shared by others in the group this idiot called Bill-Savage or some such kept rolling need on everything. Unfortunately the group leader wasnt clued in enough to boot the @rsehole before the final boss. The fault is ours for not kicking him/her out when we could have. In the year and a half Ive been playing this game through 10 characters, this is the first time Id encountered something like this. I wonder if this is the kinda @rsewipes the game attracts when it went F2P. There was clearly a totally different class of gameplay during the first 6-8 months of this game. In light of what we tend to see these days, the class of gameplay displayed by those stuffing around at the low levels seems to be showing something else less desirable. Lesson learned - boot the ****head out within two unnecessary 'Need' roles. No 'buts', no 'ifs'!
  17. Yes, this is yet another rant in a growing list of rants since 2.1 was launched I can understand charging CC to unlock a new species given the work that would have been invested to implement that especially since the cost can be more or less covered by the monthly allotment to subbed players but what I have a serious issue with is the blatant and insulting "nickle and diming" that this game has been reduced to and is incrementally shifting towards with each update: for example, CC only payment option just to alter an eye colour or hairstyle that was already available prior to 2.1 (e.g. if charging me the equivalent of 20 cents, 40 cents, etc for such minor cosmetic changes with pre-existing options is not "nickle and diming" I dont know what is!); paying CC to unlock a certain eye colour and then having to pay CC again to implement it each time its used on a character; having to pay CC to participate in a lottery type scheme to buy dyes for gear; etc etc). I do not begrudge any corporation earning its revenue to keep it and the product in question viable but there needs to be some degree of thoughtful and careful consideration prior to implementing a feature that seems to increasingly require subbed players to keep paying additional amounts of money to unlock minor features. Sure, I have the option not to purchase such features, but I am in this for the uncommon experience of participating in a game that ties me to a childhood love, so against such a backdrop the sense of disappointment is keener. The content of patch 2.1 is good but the manner in which subscribers of this game have been treated and look to be treated going forward is insulting and disappointing to say the least. More can be said but there is no point writing an essay since others have already added their views about this since the launch of 2.1 early this week. Will I remain a subscriber given the writing on the wall - I will be quietly observing the trend / pattern over coming months and make my call accordingly The above views are merely my opinion, though it seems to be shared by quite a few on these pages. p.s. friends of mine who left this game in 2012 are now reciting "I told you so"
  18. I concur! Limiting it to just Humans just seems inexplicably ... well ... limiting!
  19. BIG UPs for Hairstyle No. 46!!! Its the first one since launch that actually got my attention that I created my first Human and my first Female character since I subbed to this game since launch. She now stands as the sole rep on both fronts in my family tree but damn she looks good doing it Looking forward to running her as my second BH just to see her kick ar$e ala Shae Vizla Good score Bioware!
  20. Is it just me or is the appearance of end game gear (Lev 50 onwards) looking increasingly lousy? They have built this game upon the rich foundations of a deep and world renown franchise and sci-fi setting but with each development and addition to this game since inception the gear for each player class is becoming less and less appealing and drifting further away from the design and aesthetics that make Star Wars iconic. Is this because of undisclosed reasons resulting from recent and ongoing developments to the Star Wars intellectual property or due to designers who have lost the plot resulting in end game gear that look like they could fit into any run-of -the-mill online sci-fi fantasy game? Personally, the Star Wars universe had me hooked from the time I first viewed Part IV in the 70s because of its rich and deep substance as well as its iconic design and appearance - if this game seeks to remain on target, I think those responsible for the design of gear at BioWare/EA need to re-look at the copious amount of material on hero gear that has already been published and measure these against what they've pushed out so far. At this stage, I am utterly underwhelmed by the appearance of the Lev 55 gear (on the Imp side at least ) and would much rather spend valuable credits moving mods to previously acquired moddable gear than be seen adventuring in what they've created as part of the latest expansion. IMHO
  21. okay ... so the expansion has been rolled out and folks are busy chewing thru 5 new levels, a new planet and new side quests ... an E.T.A on the transfer from the Oceanic to the N.A. servers for those of us having to deal with low pop. issues on a daily basis right about now will be just swell and well
  22. Now that you've got your eejhakulation done and dusted - on your way, mate!
