[Fleet Hubs]

As I've noticed, after the server transfers, the number of people in the fleet always reaches it's peak. Now this has been a problem for people with low-end PCs like me since it's become a long wait of graphics rendering just to go to PvP terminals, GTN and other fleet-only features in the game.

 

What I would like to suggest is include the important fleet features (GTN, PvP, Flashpoint terminals) on the other parts of the fleet to make them useful. For Republic, it would be Telos and Gav Daragon. This would greatly help spread out the people who are stationed in the fleet, providing better loading time for people like me. I hope I would see this implemented soon.

[Daily LFG reward for Lost Island]

Hi devs,

 

So I asked this question eversince patch 1.3 came out on SWTOR CS. I asked if there is a bug with the Lost Island LFG reward of 5 Blackhole Comms. Because even if you run the Tier 1 HM FPs, the reward for the Tier2 HM FP (Lost Island) will be unclaimable. The answer they provided me is that IT IS WORKING AS INTENDED.

 

This has greatly demotivated me in running Lost Island with other groups since I already got the equipment it drops. Why would you run a Tier 2 Flashpoint if the rewards you get is the same as getting a Tier 1 Flashpoint?

 

What I am suggesting is, make a different set of rewards for running Lost Island with an LFG tool, making the potential of getting 10 BH comms for the Tier1 and Tier2 Flashpoints. As I see it now, no one would even dare queue for the Lost Island flashpoint since:

 

- You are grouped randomly, which means, a baddie may come into the group and ruin the whole FP for you.

- Why do a harder flashpoint if you can do an easier one with the same reward.

 

I hope this gets fixed soon. Or if it isn't broken, try another way of providing a reward for running HM LI. Thanks.

Is it really hard to earn credits in this game?

 

Yesterday i did a couple of quests and flashpoints, got 500k. If I do that everyday, I get 3.5mil a week. I did all these in around 4 hours of play. Is my Math correct?

 

Then if I get 3.5mil in one week and you're complaining about the cost of legacy perks, then would it mean that they will cost around 7mil per skill?

 

Me not get it.

I've been playing Vanguard all along. I only do class quests and then skip planets if needed. The only problem I had is in a certain quest in Belsavis wherein I need to kill a Sith Advisor, I'm level 42 and the mob is also 42 champion. That's the only time I needed help. Ever.

He's weak at healing because if you check his equipment, he has none.. Try to gear him up a bit, he'll be able to heal you fairly while you wait for Elara Dorne..

As far as I know, changing the settings to performance will only make it consume more power. I believe that computer manufacturers are aware of this setting and it shouldn't make your computer overheat. That is the reason why it's called POWER MANAGEMENT.

 

I currently have a laptop which I bought the year 2002 (yeah I know I suck), and in order for it to keep up with the modern world, I set it to High Performance. I didn't care about the battery life because it's already battery dead. It's been set like that for like 5 years already and it still doesn't have problems.

 

I hope this info could help to clarify things.

What's important right now is to squash those bugs. If the patch is fixing things, then there's no need to worry.

 

Let's try to put it this way. You get stuck on one area. You got stuck on Wednesday. But they only fix this things regularly on a Tuesday. So would you like them to unstuck you only on the scheduled maintenance which is Tuesday or as soon as they get the fix?

 

They patch the game because they want to fix it. You should worry if no patch is coming at all not the other way around.

This is why I prefer running FPs with friends. Because they know how to hold back on an item you need and vice versa.

 

Personally, I pass whenever I don't need the item, then Need if I need the item. I don't roll Greed. Gives good Karma this way.. Haha. Lol.

I don't really get what this thread wants.. Or maybe I'm the only one that is not that affected by the downtimes?

 

I work Fridays-Tuesdays 9AM-6PM GMT+8. Maintenance happens here at Tuesdays 4PM-10PM. But most of the time, after I get off from work, the servers are... somehow up.

 

When they announced an emergency maintenance yesterday (2/2/2012), the server was down for only like 2 hours?

 

Should I complain about that?

You are not the only one. I'm a Vanguard, shield spec. We tried Hammer Station when I was L19 and I was killed twice. Wiped once.

I believe it's actually related to the times people are playing. I play at different times. Sometimes it's standard-heavy, sometimes it's light. I play around 6pm-9pm or 4am-8am just before and after work. This is GMT+8..

Which will be better when levelling? Spec to an Assault Specialist/Tactics then switch to Shield Specialist once I hit L50? Or just stick with Shield Specialist from L1-50?

 

I want to be a tank but I want to know which would be faster to hit L50 or finish quests.

This is a bit out of topic but I want to know where and when I could get this "Storm" skill? Some sites show that it could be acquired at L1, but I think I already checked all the tabs on the trainer, and there's no Storm.. What might I be missing?
