  1. Would love that to be the "massive space mission revamp" they've been hinting at. I'd love space missions then.
  2. I'll agree with some of you, I think this game needs: - To take a page from wow in terms of quest variety. Give us some some simple vehicle combat. The story adds immersion to the quests, but in the end you're doing the same thing voer and over and over. We need more "minigames". - Retuning of flashpoint difficulty. I'm lvl 38 and all the flashpoints I've went through so far were a breeze, and because there was very little challenge, I didn't want to do them more than once. - More cutscenes in flashpoints (Hammer, Athiss), or more background activity to make the flashpoint feel alive. Think Taral V (Pub FP). - PvP ranking. Would make PvP worth doing more. And you'd eventually stop running into less experienced palyers that way. - OPEN WORLD SPACE MISSIONS. I also think the exp curve is not steep enough, as I find myself skipping through content. That's more of a personal taste thing, I suppose. The advantage with this current exp curve is I can save content for my alts. Adds an element of choice in how I do my quests. tl;dr game needs replay value and variety in its various aspects (pvp, solo pve, FP pve)
  3. Simply put, soloing is easier to chew on, but I know whenever i feel like interacting with people, I don't have to leave my chair. I can just type "/g" and hang out with my friends, without having to stop doing what I love. :3 The difference between this game and other traditional MP games, is it is being updated constantly, and contains a ton of content. Wether or not that's worth the 15 a month is up to you.
  4. If they're going to unsheathe their sabers, they should use it in the spell casts. And I'm not talking about just having it in your hand.
  5. What game is everyone comparing this to that has droves of people running around? The game is a little over a month after launch. A chunk of the player base just finished their winter vacations and are going back to school work. Sure, the only place that's truly "bustling" is the GTN at the fleet, but I still run into squads of people in planets. Sure, it depends on the server, but doesn't this happen in other MMO's as well?
  6. I agree with a bunch of these replies, it just sounds like you're burnt out. It's understandable. You miss the bells and whistles from more polished MMO's, also relate-able. Take a break, unsub. You obviously have hope in SWTOR, seeing as you took the time in writing up a good critique, so I'm sure you'll be back when things settle in. We just need to give BW time.
  7. Even WoW is tired of talent trees. I agree.
  8. They just need to optimize the game so the loading screens aren't so tedious. Also, get rid of the useless orbital stations, move the vendors in some of those stations into the town. Make it so we can Quick Travel to every point we've come across, across all planets. and if you're lazy, it'd be nice to be able to purchase a 1hr CD space ship pass (I know there's a fleet pass). I'm all for streamlining travel, but I don't want to make my ship useless, it's a big part of feeling like your traveling the galaxy. (Because, you know, it's your primary mode of transportation across planets and all)
  9. God, I don't know whether it's just the sensitivity on the controller turned all the way up, but the ship movement looks super smooth. I'd love to see the space missions turn into this. They can keep the objectives in the current space missions (Take down fighters, escort fighters, take down turrets on capital ships), but missions themselves will feel much more dynamic. My issue with the current on rails segments is that you can't tackle it at your own pace. Especially in the missions that task you with destroying parts of space stations, I find myself with 2 minutes of extra mission time, because I've all ready destroyed everything I needed to destroy. During the space missions that have you go from start to finish killing a certain number of enemies, the action isn't intense or varied enough. It usually involves enemy fighters flying across your view, enemy fighters coming towards you, or capital ships floating in the distance. And that's about it. The on rails missions in Starfox were faar more interesting. I'd love to see open space missions that involve they're own tiers of gear, like in PvP, but that's too ambitious. I'm not asking for a flight simulator, just something like the video posted above. They don't even have to remove the on rails sequences.
  10. If i wanted an on rails shooter I'd get an iPad.
  11. I believe the GTN kiosks on the capital worlds (Dromund Kass, Coruscant) are the only ones that cross factions. Imperial Fleet kiosks are same faction. Not sure where I heard that from, nor have I tested it myself. Worth a shot.
  12. It's in the patch notes, maybe it didn't fix ALL instances of the delay. But I'm noticing a significant improvement.
  13. it's actually beenfixed.... omg.. OMG LET'S ALL HAVE A SEXY PARTY WOOOOOO!!!!!!
