  1. I agree with all of the above. I have had no problems leveling a marauder and loved every minute of it. I did feel a sudden bit more squishy as soon as 3.0 launched, enemies were bringing down my hit points at twice the speed all of a sudden. This only encouraged me to play my character better. Try to mitigate as much damage taken as you can. Force choke the Strongs, Smash the weaks, etc. The longer the enemies are stunned and cant fight, the less damage you take. I used Vette until I got Jaesa and used her till end of game. Although, I go out of my way to make sure my odds of dying are highly reduced and make sure I can grind through enemies fast. I use Might Stim at all times, my character was almost always at least 1 level above the enemies I was fighting and I kept myself and Jaesa at some of the best modifications for our level at all times. Unless there was some real huge divine intervention, my character never died. Once you master your class, you can focus on having fun. Nothing feels more exciting than you and your apprentice destroying republic scum left and right.
  2. Cannot wait for Game of Thrones, friggin awesome show. BTW, I could not stay interested in any of the OPs Essays past the first two sentances, GAME OF THRONES PWNS CHUCK NORRIS. CHUCK NORRIS HAS 10 MILLION FANS BECAUSE GAME OF THRONES ALLOWS HIM TO.
  3. I don't remember anything, I spacebarred through all of the story in the entire game, didn't listen to a single word of it. I don't remember doing this quest as a warrior and even if I did, I would not even know why I was there because I didn't listen to the over payed voice actor's driveling. I just blasted through enemies and if I got a bit stuck, I asked for some help real quick, someone helps me out with the quest then we go on some heroics together, no big deal.
  4. I appreciate when someone uses lore or errata especially since I don't study it nearly as much, although explaining what the term means might have hurt you a bit. Naming yourself a title means your parents were presumptuous and egotistical. 5/10 Mine is Darth Graviel, pronounced Grave-e-ul, Lazarus was taken, that's my excuse
  5. Level 400 Artifice here which we all know not to be much of a feat in this game at all and I know I am behind on this but I dont play as much as others... So at my Artifice trainer the highest level grade of Hilts and Enhancements I can make is 22. I went out of my way to get these to purple at level 49 to give myself a slight 'edge' for starting level 50 end game with the best mods I can craft and bought some of the others that I cant. I only did my very first daily runs, got 8 daily commendations, went and saw the MODs vendor and cannot believe my eyes. They sell Grade 23 Purple Hilts and Enhancements flat out with barely any work at all. Is this true or am I missing something? Are there schematics I am supposed to find to make Grade 23 and 24 or even 25 or does artifice really stop at Grade 22 meaning all that work I have done to get it leveled all the way to end game in hopes that the Crafting Skill will wield ultimate weapons craftable only by the craft skill that people will want was futile? My question is, is anything in the artifice class skill better or worth anything than end game PVE and PVP gear? I know people hate when comparing to WoW but some of the best weapons were made by the max level Crafters who had to Focus loads of time and effort on perfecting and could sell them for 100,000 gold, which does not come cheap like credits. My problem is... Is the kill really worth any money? Can you really make good credits selling your highest level weildables and hilts and enhancements? The Rakata Relic Schematics you get from your trainer... are they exclusive to your crafting skill? Do people need to buy them from you to complete their Rakata gear? I could see that being a great market and make sense or are they BOE? I am new to artifice and these gripes have probably been gone over.... But I am one of those people who research before wasting his time and life. Is there any real benefit to perfecting your end game Artifice schematics, will people buy them? Do they buy them out of laziness or are some of the gear the crafters make literally some of the best meaning they NEED to buy them? Any helpful CRAFTERS! Thanks
  6. Immortal Jugg here, been using Jaessa since the very quest you get her on. I like the story idea of having a "Sith Apprentice". I have had no issues most of the time, but one thing is as I have gone through the game, I have done space missions and Warzones periodically. Somehow I have managed to always stay about 2-3 levels above the area level where ever I am questing. Didn't do this on purpose but it really really helps. You cut through enemies quickly and make the boring planet quests grind out faster. Also, my friend and I have been questing together the last 3 planets, much more fun, easier to lay waste to everything, if you see enemy players, you get to trash em, gain social points and always have someone ready to do the heroic missions. Best way to play the planet questing my opinion.
  7. Two Pemberton Players checkin in!
  8. Thanks for quick response. Now I can check out the Nar Shaada market and see if I can make even more credits now.
  9. Agreed, I am at the point where most of what I do in the game currently is gather MATs and sell them to start hoarding credits up and.... I get tired of every single little thing you are doing being interrupted by these popups.
  10. On your server, the Galactic Trade Kiosks, do they present items to you from both factions or just your faction? Thanks
  11. I dont play a healer but can see the other side being a Sith Juggernaut who needs the healz to keep himself and the party alive. I agree with this post. Cannot understand why healing can barely keep up with the damage on 1 tank let alone trying to keep the rest of the party alive. Even if we play smart and make sure that no one pulls extra aggro and the healer just focuses on the tank and the tank focuses on keeping aggro, the healz are not nearly the damage. PVP is hilarous as well. I have a buddy who I run with in PVP sometimes, he specd healer and the healz are so weak it might as well be dropped.
  12. You can get a different Jaesa? I have only played through once and just got her, how else could she have ended up? She is a sadistic sexy villian that I have and I wouldnt have it any other way. But if I had picked other things to say, what would have happened? I did not know there are different ones.
  13. I am only level 35 and havent made it to the end and got the better gear and worry about the 300k damage medals. But I still vote for farming if it can be done, always have. I average about 6-7 medals at my lower level because I am a juggernaut who throws himself into the fray, uses guard and threatening scream like crazy, then actually uses his 3 min cooldown uber tank abilities to stay alive long enough to collect a bunch of protection points. I get these medals wether we win or lose so guess what... I could care less if we even win. I dont even care if the ball carrier makes it to the end, I just throw guard on him for the protection points. When I get to 50 I will be just like these guys, dont care if we get the win right away, I am gonna farm and protect anyone who gets me my medals. For now I play a bit of PVP and do my ship battles daily to break up the boring nevernding questing on the planets.
  14. This thread has my vote on one of the best uses of hilarious sarcasm in SWTOR ever. @Mertissielle Your Sig Made me laugh even more though. This sums up nerf flame posts even better.
  15. I am also on another server where I end up playing a lot of Huttball. The big difference... Faction Population. You must be on one of the rare servers where a balanced amount of both republic and empire players play pvp and most of the time you will be put in the other 2 warzones. Huttball is the only warzone for same faction play so that there is always some PVP to play even if the enemy faction PVP population is low. Consider yourself very lucky. The reason we need a guide like this one is because Huttball is the most played warzone out there with a not so simple layout and ball carrying techniques and rules. Put that on top of the fact that when you are on a one sided Faction server, you will be forced to play it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and this is the song that doesnt it end... yes it goes on and on my friend!
