  1. Unfortunately, Sorcs may just be stronger at this point in the xpac. We can't take advantage of the change to Crit as much as Sorcs can, and similar to 3.0, we are still way too dependent on keeping 2 probes rolling in Ranked. To be sure, the benefits of Crit are nice, but you have to remember if affects every class, and we get the short end of the stick in that regard. We do very little that Sorcs cannot do, and our "AOE-healing advantage" is a shadow of its former self. I still love the class and intend on playing it in PvP, but let's be honest: Sorcs are better in every regard.
  2. Oops read wrong. I might be interested. Midian represent. Maybe koozie will come back for this.
  3. Are u guys coming back from ws or was this a one time thing? Anyway, nice heals aldoraz.
  4. Um, Skype me rather. I'm usually on Imp side now, so you probably won't see me on
  5. Hey Kent, this is Yui. I've been using Nick's (Ælexis/Ælexa if you remember him) account to heal since he has gear and a sub, and I refuse to level up my poor level 54 scoundrel. I'm the inadvertent gm of Crescendo now, so pm me for an ginvite and we can revive Crescendo rateds again. With Yuc playing again, and Deceiver coming back within the next few days, we can probably make a pretty decent team. You'll be in for a nasty surprise...
  6. After DP stopped playing two months ago and Breakfast left for Wildstar, no good rated guilds are left on Pub side. That being said, if you decide to transfer over, pm me on Ælexa or Kìki for some trial warzones. While I usually run with Midian, it's always fun creating competition over on the Light side. We still have enough I think...
  7. Back on topic. If you have a team ready, whisper someone in Midian and we'll see if we can put together a team. We are mostly an APAC guild, so keep that in mind. That being said, we usually have people on throughout the weekend, and from 2 - 12 pm +8 GMT weekdays.
  8. Q 4's please. Thanks.
  9. venrin, let's do it. time and date. let's gooooooooooooooooooo
  10. In that case, Zhentil Keep is your best choice.
  11. Honestly, solo queues are kind of stupid in general. I play for Midian as well, and if that's any correlation with the validity for the statement that follows, you can't really carry a team in solos as a sentinel. In a situation where you're being focused, you really have two options. First is to pop saber ward and rebuke, and if needed, even an adrenal and mitigate all their burst. If your team is on par with the other team, by logical consequence your team has the advantage: the opponent wasted their opener on you, and you (should) have survived. This is what I prefer doing, even if it means my damage is lower than it should be. The other option, as Koozie said, is to simply camo out. This is a tangential effort to escape damage, in my opinion, as many players simply switch back on to you after stealth and force you to waste aforementioned cooldowns anyway, but it does work about 30-40% of the time I reckon. Those options being discussed, there's not really much you can do, especially as a combat sentinel in solo queues, where your damage is so easily mitigated by random stuns, knock backs and the such. I really wouldn't brood too much over it. I was talking to Bry (another really good player) last night over the stupidity that is solo ranked, and he just said solo queues are for those who can't make it in grouped rank, and want to feel better about themselves. That's a bit harsh, but judging by the leader boards for our server, so very true. Get a team together. That rating is far more meaningful than yolo queue.
  12. Could the person who applied the DoT have a proc damage relic, and the damage applied by it was breaking the cap?
