We had a couple of different days in Oricon a while back doing open world with tons of people (and lag ) and now that the gree event is back I really think we should create some imp vs rep mayhem there in big scale. Christmas holidays coming (I don't believe for one sec that everyone are offline then anyways) and gree event still on for a while, so achievements and FUN times for ALL, am I right?

We have a few various spots open in 2 different raid teams that will raid together on weekly basis; different types of groups and ambitions in raiding. One of those teams, going straight into new HMs 2-3 times a week. Another team that will raid once a week for starters is starting to venture into the new HMs, gearing up and learning the tactics together being priority. I had just hit 50 on my sorc healer. I actually have a lvl55 sorc healer already (yes yes crazy I know ) and been raiding and pvping with that for 1,5 year as a main toon so I can safely say I'm very well connected to how to play a sorc heals. So ok little sorc hits 50 and I wanna do FP. I get BoI HM from gf. I don't really have much gear, I have about 14k HP and custom gear with lvl ~45 mods and a handful of mods you get from doing dailies. We have a PT tank in the team, equal amount of HP than me, then 2 x assassin dps. First boss didn't really give any sign of stuff maybe taking a wrong turn. Then at second boss (the one that has the adds, when the adds are up you can't touch the boss). I get hit all time and have to run LoS. That tank was hard to heal anyways in there but I do know my class and can go quite far with poor gear too. I die cos of getting hit all the time even tho I'm quite far away. I get a comment from the tank saying my gear is not for lvl50 HM FPs... ok might be the case but dying cos getting aggro is not a gear issue. I look at the tanks debuffs, and verify from a guildie that the cylinder he is using is not a tanking cylinder. (I don't know anything about PTs ). I tell him if he could be so kind as to change it to tanking one. I told him he is a bit hard to heal but I can manage. He says "I can leave if you want" I say "nah let's just do this". He says "well stop ************ then" ... -.- I told him off at that point and we continued without talking to the end. He did put a guard on me after switching cylinders. So not a biggy but just got annoyed.

If the answer is NO to all or most then that's just stupid and you should stop doing it....

I can't remember the last time I pugged a raid and doing it thru GF. Well last night I did (I'm a healer) together with guildies: 2 tanks, 1 other healer and 1 dps. We get insta pop ofc - TFB SM - and were talking in TS "how bad can this be, we only have 3 pug dps". Well. We got the Dread Guards to enrage even tho us healers were doing dps as much as we could. Nobody answered anything in OPS chat when we were giving instructions or asking questions. Nobody attacked the cores or vortexes first, it was us healers to do that... And lastly when we go to Operator I AGAIN ask "have you guys done this before" and then WOW someone actually answered and said the usual "could refresh my mind about it". We explain yet again, short and sweet and precise. And well... we failed color Blue... on a TFB SM! even tho both of us healers were again doing almost only dps.... So yeah I was super annoyed by that time and had no hope to clear operator so I quit the grp and so did my guildies. The thing is that I don't mind explaining to ppl stuff when they react somehow and show that they can do what they're told to do. But when you get no reply or question or anything from anyone or any signs of them knowing what to do, why bother then you know. So yeah I'm not pugging again in a long time.

"Remember not run into the next room!" "X run!! RUN into the middle now!!!!" gotta love color deletion.. Our trigger happy jugg dps usually says "Kaia heal me" as he jumps on mobs while there are nobody else present besides me and him. Also heard from the same guildie "let's spice things up" .

Well lots of things have changed since I last updated this post. We've cleared all HM content and started working on TFB NiM. We were very close to killing the Dread Guards last week so it's been fun Also I wanted to modify so that our recruitment is closed now due so many people coming in last few weeks. BUT were still looking for at least 1 NiM tank, or maybe two And also we are currently still building up a team for the upcoming faint memory of 8v8 ranked and been doing a bit lately anyways. Maybe operative healer and one melee dps more on that department Thanks!

Personally I haven't seen continuous bullying in the general chat, ppl really answer to questions and have conversations like normal people. Ofc there will also be the sarcastic type of answers and trolling but that's life. Given that I don't stand reading the gen chat on the fleet all the time, I still wouldn't say it's alarming. Personally I whisper ppl answers if the chat is flooded with stuff to get the message and answer across to whoever was seeking it. I'm sure that against 1 ******** in the gen chat there is at least a few nice ppl, any day.

Based on the http://www.redeclipse.eu site's topic ( http://www.redeclipse.eu/redeclipse.eu/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1191&sid=bd3eb2c6f9a067c67613af0706dcdeb6 ) we have plenty more than 3 guilds interested that have posted in this topic. Also guilds that are not posting on either of these forums are known to think about this and thinking of making a grp for "new ranked". So all in all the situation looks really good If you are not already a member of that site (it's an unofficial server forum that is actually pretty active), please do register there to get in touch with the whole server community. But I recommend to follow that site also if there are ppl/guilds that don't check this part of the swtor.com site that we all know what's going on. But anyways if we make schedule or set up event day(s) it is good to post them on both of the sites to be sure to get more ppl involved. I'm planning on logging into the IRC channel too actively from now on with this nick and am always ready for a chat if I'm available. Matty the dedicated channel is just like your guild chat or ops chat. After you join in the channel, just type the /4 or /5 you are instructed to be able to speak in there. And it says who enters the channel and who leaves the channel, but unfortunately I don't think it's possible to find out anywhere who are in the channel at any given time because all the ppl are not in the same guild. Must say that you should maybe change the color of the chat text cos at least for me it was by default yellow and so many other things ingame are yellow. Macolson, this is definitely not a guild specific thing, we are trying to make it as wide as possible on the server to keep the ranked scene alive and make it suit for the lvl of pvpers we mostly have now

And another post right after I have the details for the ingame chat channel for all interested on empire side to join (it doesn't have a password): To join the channel type /cjoin noobpvp And to be able to talk in there, depending on how many diffferent chats you're in, it's most likely /4 or /5. Can't wait to continue talking with you guys in there P.S. republic side info will be posted later on!

Ok so I've been talking with ppl and getting more excited about this for sure I talked to a guildie that has been in the ranked on rep side and knows a bit how "kickball" evenings was probably organised and (I have no idea since we never took part) and I realised it might be the best starting point for the bold new ranked world on TRE Make a dedicated chat channel for both factions, invite interested ppl (guilds and guildless) from gen chats into it. That alone guarantees pvp folks that are alone looking for action and from different guilds to be able to communicate without having to flood the gen chat alone, you know even to find a grp for normals too? Then set up a date for this first "noob" evening and from there see that maybe we have a few experienced players and a few pugs/inexperienced in the same ops team (and in a voice server together, most guilds should have one anyways) just to balance things out at first (what you think?) and then queue away I guess the ideal situation would be that thru the "noob" evenings ppl get to know each other and other teams, guilds will have better chances to fill out a spot or 2 they might have to make 8 man and ppl that would be joining alone find way to get into ranked. And if everything goes well and the interest is still there after let's say after a couple "noob" evenings or even straight away, we could set up some days of the week when teams would queue. Like if a guild/team wants to do ranked they would know that more likely you get a queue pop on mondays, wednesdays and saturdays (just example). Something like that? I must say that even with the bolster, would be recommended to have some lvl of partisan gearing, so you wouldn't be fresh 55 jumping directly into this expecting other ppl to carry you. I'm checking from my guilds side the gear lvl at least. We also need visibility on the republic side on this; to let them know that we want to keep ranked happening on our awesome server and about the atmosphere we want to achieve. I have a few guildies that pvp on that side so they can start spreading the word too, I hope you guys do the same There is a topic on the redeclipse.eu forum too about this. Site where schedules etc can be posted too to gain more pairs of eyes for this whole "cause". Sorry about the brain flow here, I hope it made sense Please do comment EDIT: and I'm tentatively ok with the July dates Matty suggested, because they're not so soon so we have time to set things up but since it's also my personal summer vacation, anything can happen IRL really. I did a handful yesterday around prime time, queue popped instantly almost every time and we (imps) ended up winning most of them. Can't really judge based on that only but we'll see, hopefully going to a good (more balanced) direction

I'm gm of my guild too, we're only casual pvpers, but do quite a lot of it at times, running 2-4 man guild grps till late at night sometimes and our wish was to venture into ranked at some point especially when we had even more active pvpers, but based on my previous post didn't have much interest in it after a couple of evenings I would actually love to see sort of a restart of the ranked in the server with a bit more balance maybe. And noobs vs. noobs actually sounds really fun to me Would be sad to see the whole ranked die out cos of the elite pvp guilds leaving for TOFN. So would love to hear how many other guilds (than who have posted here) are interested in keeping the scene alive? I know that we don't have full 8man grp for ranked most nights anymore and we also do raid at least 3 nights a week (AND it's summer time), so mingling somehow with guilds, getting the spots filled in a co-op spirit would be nice too

I know these short story type of ranked tries I don't think it's really fun to get completely ***-raped by the high end pvp guilds in the ranked when all you wanted to do is to see how it's like and maybe get some comms doing it. Mostly can still have fun while laughing how bad we are at the guild TS I can laugh about a lot of things in the game too, ofc, but when the other team deliberately chooses their mains to play against a completely ranked-virgin guild and also plays without gear (only healers geared), in my world means "haha fu noobs, now bend over" obv had forgotten to take lube with me too, so most of our asses were a bit sore but I suppose it all just builds character. No wonder there are mostly (?) only some of the top pvp guilds playing ranked cos getting totally annihilated is not my idea of having fun evening so that's why my guild haven't done it. And trust me I'm not saying they should take it easy and pat on the head or anything but some balance would be nice, you know The paid transfers might change the picture tho that's not to say I want ppl to leave our server but for casual pvpers the situation might be better ranked-wise

I've not seen anyone advertise about this or none of the ppl I know either, so probly nobody does this yet? and if someone does, would be stupid be stay hidden cos they can make ****tons of moneyz with this And I do reaaaally wanna get one too
