' I don't know about you, but it seems the OP's laptop blows them out of the water to me. This game looks very average even on high, on low it's akin to City of Heroes circa 2004. Your laptop is a very similar spec to mine, however I have a 525m and you have the model one or two above. I have to run this game on low graphics without shadows to get decent fps (this worked while levelling). However once I hit end game and focused entirely on PVP the performance just hit the floor. Don't even get me started on Ilum. I have a feeling its due to this game being very poorly optimized, like you I can run Skyrim very smoothly. I know MMO's take more processing power etc to run but still, it doesn't quite add up.

I just want to let you know, strictly levelling my laptop does 'okay', but the game doesn't look good. It looks like city of heroes from 2004. Whereas in wazrzones/ilum, it's absoulutely horrible.

My laptop is slightly better than yours (better gpu, faster hdd) and this game runs like *** even on low and with shadows turned off.

Let me just state that '25k/50k medals without dying' do not exist. It's 2k,5k,10k without dying. But you also get a 5k protection medal and a 50k one.

Ignore the biodrones OP, I completely agree with all your points. The PVP in this game was very poorly thought out, I think the point you made on gearing up is extremely key. Where Centurion was made completely pointless in comparison to Champ. For me I've had terrible luck (i have 4-5 cent pieces including the main hand), when I see the PTR notes and I know if they did the system correctly I would now have full champ it is very disheartening. :/ Extremely repetitive, range favoured, poorly optimized, pointless PVP. Best I don't even mention Ilum, we all know how that is.

Did you really just say buff mercs? I agree that sorcs need toning down, but so do mercs (not as much though).

The OP really does make a valid point, currently on my server, Sorcs are at least double the amount of mercs on my server. Then there is also more Assassins than mercs. It is highly frustrating to see this level of class imbalance, I'm not blaming the players though, the Sorc AC is actually insanely strong, the amount of utility/damage/survivability they have is unmatched by all other classes by a long way. People who are flaming him are most probably playing one of the two classes and do not wish to recieve nerfs which is only logical. Imo Assassins do not need to be nerfed, they're strong but still suffer the woes of the rest of the melee classes. (this game favours range significantly)

Silly billy, it's hard to get 10 medals on my 50 powertech. Thats when I know I'm having an amazing game, even 9 is like wow. 7-8 is my usual number on a game where I'm performing to a decent standard. You linked a picture of a Sorc so I assume this is a troll but hey, it counteracts your point nicely.

I don't even want a Dungeon Finder and I used to be very pro this. I love the fact I've been bumping into the same guys in my dungeons since black talon. Creates a very nice community feel that adds to the game in my opninion.

It's one day per week, in off-peak times. Stop being so dramatic. There has to be maintenance and either EU or US were going to get hit with an (off-peak) maintenance, relax and do something else. At least it's not peak and in the evening.

What level are you? I'm currently a 41 shield specced powertech who uses Gault/Torian, however I did use Mako up until I got Gault. I've never really noticed this problem that you're experiencing even when I was using Mako (I would say my damage is actually very good for a tank, perhaps something wrong on your end?). Even in your original post you offered yourself a solution (use a dps companion), it is your choice not to do that and therefore you must suffer the lack of dps. However with our interupt/stun you should be able to burn one down. Please give me more information so I can help you.
