  1. The interesting thing about SWTOR is that it could be either. The design of disconnected planets can be discouraging, or it could be turned into an advantage with a sandbox planet. They can do anything they want really and it fits because you have completely independent planets, and there is nothing broken about that it is space and that's how it's laid out.
  2. Your topic was 4 things that need to be implemented that are already being implemented right? Hm...not much to say I guess. Perhaps they want to try something other than merges first, because if they merge, you'll be first to the forums saying the game is "dying" and here's 4 things from the next announced patch that they need to implement to save the game.
  3. Finder, already announced. Ranked WZ, already announced. Tranfers, with merges if needed already announced. QA, needs work such as character copy, but already announced.

    Daily/Weekly

It's an amazingly good idea. I am not a carebear in this game, all I do is PVP. On my server Rep is way outnumbered, consequently at launch we got completely stomped by Imp. Consequently, Imp is always better geared. Whether this explains the disparity now, I don't know for sure. However, yesterday I had the day off and played WZ for 10 hours at least, and could not complete the daily (3 wins) until 2 am. Topped the leaderboard all day long, but got completely stomped by Imp all day long. This daily change is the best thing since sliced bread. Winning is still given incentive by weekly, and don't forget if you want to be awesome join rated in 1.3
  5. I can't tell what's coming up. If I can't tell what's coming up with enough force then I can't plan my moves, yes I plan moves in that second or less, I think we all do. I'm really sorry to say this but I don't understand what ui designers are doing? This cd thing for 2 terrible patches, maps cover my ability bar, mission tracker wont go away. I don't get it. Maybe that team needs to work on holiday events or something less critical.
  6. I was totally astonished, literally not just saying that, that they actually made it even worse for the second time in a row.
  7. Actually not correct there is a group feature with the ability to say your lfg, it puts an icon over your head, adds you to a list everyone can see, and allows you to add a comment. Actually more features than WOW pre-lfd. Problem is, same as WOW, people tend not to invest the effort in using it. WOW players post LFD completely changed, and new players were totally unaware of the actual MMO experience pre-LFD. Pre-LFD, yes a group could be difficult at first. But here's what happened and the reason the game is designed the way it is. Say you want a dungeon and you have no friends or guild. Use chat. You will get a group. Be nice, talk to your group as you travel, yes travel was part of the game and the experience. "Hey where you guys from?" "You like your class?" "I'm new how long you guys playing?" You get to the dungeon having already been chatting. Communication and attitude are much improved. People are trying to build relationships and a reputation on the server, so they can group easier and not be known as a jerk. Group completes dungeon. Dungeon actually goes pretty well, and even if it doesn't people are nicer cause groups are precious and so is your rep, bailing is much less common and so is smack talk. You finish, add to friends, ask about their guild. Doing this I built up friends, people I knew well, their family, job, illnesses, personal connections that lasted years. Leveled with them, raided with them, pvp's with them. Groups became easy. Join a guild, grow your rep even more. Log on, people spam you for groups. Post LFD - click button, get group, port, who are these ppl, who cares. wipe, people cussing, rage quitting, maybe complete dungeon. Devs nerf because no one works together and hate each other. Game is stupid easy. Friends list shrinks because no one cares. People quit game, drop guilds, who needs it? You log, on, no one cares they are all cross server running dungeons with strangers rolling need on their gear and dropping group. Now devs try to implement *** proof rolling system. It fails for many classes. People could care less who you are. That name you picked? No one cares your a gearscore not a player or a person. Devs try try to make guilds more attractive with incentives, because no one cares about their guild or other players anymore. Devs literally change your name to a number for cross server grouping. Welcome to modern WOW and LFD.
  8. Actually my new car had loads of bugs. The check engine light has been on for 9 years. Dealer says its just bugged no fix. Two friends have the exact same car and the same problem. Currently I can't register my vehicle because the state won't allow me with a light on. Center console has melted and broken twice in the heat. Fixed once, out of warranty now its just broken. $16,000 and one of the best car makers in the world....
  9. Please, please let me turn off the mission tracker and keep it off. How convenient I can click it off, but how ridiculous it just pops back on if I leave a warzone, relog, go somewhere, get a mission. I want it to either click off and stay off or be able to be disabled. I have so many missions and it just plasters my screen with crap please I want it off!! I go weeks without doing missions why must I have this continually on my screen?
  10. The immersion argument is bizarre too because i think it shows your ship going to the surface, then you find yourself in an orbital station? Then you click the shuttle, and you magically appear on the planet? The whole transition thing definitely needs work. What i would really prefer is a longer flight, while the zone loads in the background. Leave me on my ship that makes sense and is fine.
