  1. Would be nice to get some clarity on this, or at least an admission that Bioware flipped the decision on us. This doesn’t just affect PvP-only players, a lot of people played this season in order to get the Replicas and need the reward payouts to get them.
  2. If we could get an explanation from the devs on why we just got rug-pulled for rewards this season without any prior notice, that’d be nice. Rewards historically go out at the start of the next season, I get that, but why did we get a false promise that got switched up the day before the season end?
  3. doesn't answer the question, I appreciate the idea behind it tho
  4. Does anyone know if it's just the replicas going away at the start of Season 15, or is it items like Resourceful Renegade as well? Doing some planning on how much I need to grind for tokens
  5. Basically, a one-handed, longer-hilt lightsaber that has two sides: One with a regular saber length, and one with a shoto length at the back. Something like it exists in the universe already in the form of Exar Kun's lightsaber (one-handed, dual-bladed, adjusted length) so it wouldn't be super hard to make. This would be a hella good sell that tons of people would buy.
  6. I think I'm like one of the five people I've seen wear this piece so I figure it's not a big deal, but here goes: The shoulders on the Furious Battler chestpiece (the Replica is the one I'm using) look super wonky on a BT2 male. If they could angle downward or were just smaller/not as wide, it would look infinitely better. Small suggestion, but it'd be dope if it was possible to get a fix for this. Alternatively: just add body sliders
  7. The numbers would suggest more people play regs, but SR queue is the same 20 people every day. Not a healthy state of PvP if you ask me
  8. This might be a hot take, but using using mechanics correctly = skill I do get what you mean, I think this game’s high ttk brings more negative than positive and there are some mechanics that need revisiting which hopefully is coming in 7.0 and beyond, but there are a lot of ways to mitigate losing a 7v2 by just learning how to play because I’d guarantee if you’re complaining about regs, you don’t actually know as much as you think you do. Also, if you don’t wanna PvP, you can get a daily or weekly reroll on it. You can do GS without touching PvP at all
  9. Good question. I guess it's hard to know when the season ends unless we line it up with the Galactic Seasons length (which would mean September?) but it'd be helpful to know how close we are to the next tier up so we can plan effectively.
  10. Mad Dash/Blade Blitz is basically a worse operative/scoundrel roll. That being said, it’s still very good, which does say something about roll imo lmao
  11. Fury/Conc is arguably an A-tier spec in PvP cause of double camo. It has good group util with Roar (+ Force Bound set), Obfuscate, and Ravage root, plus solid survivability with Crush’s CC immunity and if you talent Blood Ward. It’s no operative or merc but when played well, it’s damn good in solos. Annihilation/Watchman is also one of (if not the best) the top specs in PvE right now, although the rotation is rigorous to a degree. Carnage/Combat sucks though, which is unfortunate cause it’s easily my favorite spec, but Marauder/Sentinel is in a good place right now if you look at the tools it has (specifically thru a PvP lens). Could it use some tweaks for Combat/Carnage and some DCD updates to keep up with how the meta’s shifted almost entirely to yellow damage? Sure, but it’s by no means bad.
  12. This is actually a solid point. Anything to get population up at this point.
  13. It's semi-viable in PvP but it suffers from not having an ability like Force Crush which grants CC immune. Something like reworking Gore so that it's on a longer CD but applies it's e-net effect for longer would make it a lot better, if not overpowered. Its on-demand burst and damage is pretty good already and can create a ton of early pressure, but it's missing a lot in its kit to where damage is the only thing it can do. The lack of utility like Fury has is what needs to be fixed. Impossible to play? No, but it's a lot worse than the other options because it's the weakest without CC immunity and the defense boosts of the other specs.
  14. damn this is some of the most low effort trolling I've seen on these forums. that's a pretty impressive accomplishment, hat's off to ya
  15. Yeah unfortunately, they probably won't go back down for a long while if at all. Credit inflation is really bad right now and is showing few signs of slowing down. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they only got priced higher.
  16. I personally fail to see how less Huttball is a problem. Vandin and Quesh didn't get like any noticeable fix at all
  17. Unfortunately, businesses don't see it that way
  18. Does make any practical sense from a lore perspective unless you're using a shoto in the off-hand, and even then, the reverse grip is super rare. From an animation and gameplay perspective? No thanks. Bigger fish to fry in the animation department imo. If you wanna see animations with reverse grip sabers, play Annihilation and just exclusively use Crippling Slash, Annihilate, and Rupture. All of those have reverse grip animations.
  19. It's a neat ability and I've seen it work a couple times to get a kill. Talent has an immobilization attached to it but it's still not worth it considering you need to take the pred, obfuscate, and cloak talents in the same section. If they moved it up to the section with all the other roots then it'd actually be worth taking sometimes, but high CC classes with self-healing is still the biggest issue
  20. I was recently replaying the Inquisitor and Warriors stories while waiting for the PTS to go live and I had a number of moments where I was in a phased area and I thought “man, this would be a really cool stronghold”. The areas are mostly indoor, and while we don’t know anything about the fleet apartments yet, I wanted to put in a request for a more compound-like stronghold, something similar to the Grathan estate area/main building from Dromund Kaas. Two other areas stood out for me as well: Vengean’s compound from the Warrior Act 2 finale (this is probably top of my wishlist tbh) and the stronghold where you retrieve Kallig’s mask from the Inquisitor Act 1. I think either one of these serve as good examples of more linear strongholds, something that interests me personally a ton and I think a lot of people would enjoy. A Korriban/Tython stronghold of some sort which is more linear in nature would open up new ideas for decorating and other stuff that people would sink money/time into. I think it’d be really cool, and would love to hear what others think of it.
  21. Annihilation is viable in Ranked PvP but it’s fairly composition-dependent. Against a melee team, it does some insane numbers. Against ranged, not so much. It’s fine rn cause the meta is melee-heavy: you just have to play it as what it is. It’s a pretty free damage spec in regs too. That being said, I do think the class is a nonfactor with Defel Spliced Genes in ranked cause of our DCDs, but that’s a personal thing. CC immunity would allow for Carnage to come back and make for interesting counterplay options, or even expanding the net effect on Gore would be cool
  22. While I would like the channel back for the animation, it makes for a much cleaner rotation for it to not be a channel. On that note, Blade Barrage looks way better and smoother than the Ravage animation. I’d much prefer to have Blade Barrage on my Marauder; wanna switch?
  23. Now before I start, I do wanna say I know nothing about coding so I don’t actually know how difficult this may be. I was talking to some guildmates and we were all discussing how much better some of the animations for mirror classes are. An example of this is Sentinel versus Marauder: the Sentinel animations feel cleaner for a lot of specs (Blade Barrage vs Ravage is a great example) and while I don’t want to play a Republic-side character cause I’m pretty established Imp-side, I was thinking: what if there was a way to change animations on a class? Different opening stances, different base attack or class ability animations, stuff like that? Warframe has an animation pack which I think is pretty cool, and if this was added to SWTOR, I’d probably even pay CC for it. I don’t know how many other people would be interested, but it seems like a good way to make some money for the devs and get people something they would want/use as long as it’s cost-effective to do so. I dunno, what do you guys think? Like if you could, say, buy a pack to use the Sentinel’s base class animations on a Marauder?
