  2. I would be happy to try to get <Nemesis> to queue for ranked pvp. It does require there being a tank and healer on, with 2 dps both willing to do ranked. From my experiences with ranked so far, we were against teams of <The Core>, and <Regulators>, but with this relic bug I know a lot of people are staying out of ranked for now.

  5. No one has mentioned, other than aggro dump, it is a root/slow-break in full lethality.
  6. If you are half 69 and half 72, fully augmented, anything 2500+, maybe 2600 is what you should get. Lower than that, and there might be a problem. Your rotation is mostly fine. I know last time parsed a few weeks ago in 2/3's 72 gear like about 2700, 29% crit. In HM ops 2500-2600 is sufficient enough. How much crit you get greatly affects your dps though. With like 38% crit you should get at least like 2700. Energy management is the key to MM. After OS, you wanna use AP on cooldown. Once you get 2 piece set bonus, you want to save TA for OS and you have to use RS a lot less. I think it's 2 times in a 5 minute parse assuming you don't mess up energy at other times. If you put SV in the same rotation every time after OS, your energy is a lot easier, and it enables the use of EP after SV. Good luck, as for relics that is still debated by us and by all dps in general. Gear is basically 6 power-accuracy enhancements, and 4 power-surge enhancements. All power mods.
  7. My suggestion was for putting in the specs. And, the reason why i let it do OS for lethality is OS is currently hard to put in lethality rotation. This makes a lot of people more favorable to Hybrid, as OS does more dmg anyway in hybrid with 20% dmg boost. It might be too hard to code new spec stuff until the next expansion, but i'm fine with the change then. If we get BW suggested change before than, it wouldn't be that bad to wait a few more months for a huge change.

I think though, that we should have: Laze Target: 2.5 minute cool down MM: Auto crit for all SoS hits Engineering: EP crits, adds one scatter bomb Lethality: Cull adds one bleed affect, or all it's hits crit. Whichever one. I also think to help kill Hybrid, they could make it where for Lethality instead of buffing cull it puts OS off cooldown, and makes it free.

  10. Right lets stay on topic. While i'm voting for the change just to take anything, i like lz ambush but not TD or EP. They don't deliever as much as lazed ambush, and that is unfair to the other specs. Secondly, since BW disapproves of Hybrid, they could per say make it do great things for engi and lethality for people to stop using Hybrid. For Lethality: Either lazed cull, or makes next OS free. For engi, add more scatter bombs with lazed ep. Not the os cause os is already buffed in engi. And make these lvl 40+ skill points. Just an idea, and would help BW kill Hybrid, which i know they want to do. Probably is "too OP' though. I just think lazed TD or EP is not giving us as much as lazed Ambush would. Still voting for changes.

  12. Remember when we say Lethality is not good for pve, we mean compared to the other specs. It still can do 100-200 under MM and is better than jugg dps for sure.
  13. You're basically right also, as the burst in Hybrid only comes from cull. MM being white dmg also is bad, and the only reason MM might be better is the entrench. Otherwise neither of them match the burst of rage. Basically my point was you can try a lot of stuff, but you're not going to beat a mara. In fact, if i was fighting a mara in a wz i would run to find a healer ASAP.
  14. You've got to remember, Toontown Online is 12 years old. By now, Disney isn't making that much money off of it because of it's out-of date graphics, subscription model, etc. But most notably, in the kids MMO market Wizard101, but most noticeably Club Penguin, are beating it out by a lot in terms of market-share.
  15. I have barely seen those guilds around, and to my knowledge all of the best teams on the bastion (like <Hey I'm MvP> or <Synergy>) are still on the Bastion.
  16. The only reason is aoe hmm? Can snipers do that much dmg with engi? Heck no. "Unless your strategy involves stacking smashers", umm..that is ALWAYS the strategy. Try again. Your idea that a sniper would always beat a smash Mara 1v1 is ridiculous. A MM sniper would especially never do this, as it's white dmg is blocked by maras' very powerful dcs and armor. Lethality and Engi are better at ignoring dcs, but because of long build-up burst or for engi no clear defined burst, they don't deliver. Hybrid is the only spec that you could maybe kill a Mara of the same experience lvl with, as even though it does less overall dmg long-term than lethality, it has more clear, defined, burst combined with DoTs to get through dcs/armor than all the other specs. Assuming NO LoS objects at all, no wals, anything. Also assuming Hybrid spec 4/16/26 with LT. How I would open fight: Entrench - OS on top of self (Mara goes oh crap..do I stay back and do barely any dmg or waste my saber ward here, probably opting for 2nd option), apply dots and maybe cull. OS ends, knife stun, KB, and leg shot mara. Go through EP, SoS, Cull. Mara is back, pop medpac and flash bang. After this pop shield probe, than evasion at 25% and just go through normal DPs rotation. Yes the Mara will choke you, more than once. Whenever you see berserk - shockwave you run away or stun Mara till it's over, and no ultra smash. Doing all this, CAN you beat a same experience lvl Mara? 99% chance not, *** they have SO much crit fueled, armor ignoring burst, that they will knock the crap out of you, their dcs adding the final, perfect, last touch. As to MM being good against AP, I think not. You said yourself AP is tanky, and MM is terrible against tanks or anything tanky. It is just pure, white dmg. MM is best against healers, and weak DPs classes including other snipers. With lethality still being decent against those, it's long set-up overall good dps,and anti-tankness is best for pvp (not comparing to engi, it is good all around) with its mobility being the last touch. MM however, will be "best" for arenas with short burst, leading me to believe snipers will not be able to help as much as maras, pts, or even mercs in arenas. I might personally try hybrid in arenas, but the burst taking a while to set-up, the get back to burst, might cause it to get healed through too much just like full lethality. Overall I also agree the outlook is dim for snipers when it comes to arenas.
  17. I guess I'm a little late, but I vote very strongly for the new laze target. On lethality lazed cull would be better than lazed TD IMO, but that may be too OP.
  18. I am curious, what Bastion guilds are you saying transferred here? I haven't noticed any Bastion guilds coming here. Also, today I played lvl 30s toons on pot5. Playing with my imperial toon, most of the other players seemed competent, and all the games we played were imp v imp. I then played pub side and it was some of the most terrible PvP I have ever played in this game. There were like 2x less people in the PvP section on fleet, and when I asked if it was always like this and at 55 too, the response was "Pretty much, every day of the week except Tuesday. " Some investigation into the server forums and some convos with EH people who have toons there also proved that there is an obvious extreme faction imbalance in reg wzs on Pot5. Ranked is obviously competitive because of it's nature, but not imp-pub reg wzs. There are also solo many ragequiters there.
  19. There are about 3-4 instances of fleet on an average primetime. The population tends in line with other RP and PvE servers, and ahead of the PvP servers. There may be some more imp players, but it is basically balanced. PvE progression is pub heavy, PvP is imp heavy.
  20. I think he is referring to afternoon and early evening when imps are on their pub alts. Later through the evening and the rest of the night, or during weekends at all times, imps dominate.
  21. Idk what is going on with imps this week. The Core and Inconceivable are running some pretty good groups pub side.
  22. I can say <Nemesis> killed the horror last Friday, August 16.
  23. <Nemesis>, and <Empire> are back on the list, so idk how you can claim that.
