They have the right to say it, but on the same token, people have the right to report it. Why not do the more grown up thing, which is just simply to not use profanity to a member of the public (private chats I have no problem with so long as both parties consent)

Unlikely, but I'd advise caution. If you're going to run out on your subscription, you should make all attempts to secure your account possible before leaving it to prevent the account being compromised by third parties (e.g. Security Key, changing passwords, securing the PC, etc.)

You are missing the point. We're not talking about what is and what isn't censored, or the functionality of the filter in the first place. If you swear, use explicit language or go against any of the Terms of Service, you are liable to be reported. Some words HAVE been filtered inappropriately, but that's requiring a developer solution to make the filters less sensitive.

The Profanity Filter is there as a means for people to censor out explicit language - it does not however excuse people from reporting the content, filter on or off. The best policy is just to not swear in the first place, or if you really must, keep it within private channels (e.g. Friends, guildies) - use polite language where possible, and remain constructive - you don't HAVE to swear to get your point across.

Operations are considered as 'raids' or scenarios which require more than the typical 4-man group to defeat challenging opponents. Generally, 8 players are required, but some can go up to 16. Whilst operation groups can be at any level, it's generally predisposed for well geared level 50s who have experience. This would mean the best options for you would be the following in theory (note: this is at the endgame of 50): Level 50 Flashpoints (Pre 1.2) Level 50 Hardmode Flashpoints (Pre 1.2) / Lost Island Normal Mode (1.2) Level 50 Operations (Story Mode) Level 50 Operations (Hard Mode) / Lost Island Hard Mode (1.2) Level 50 1.2 Operations (Story Mode) Level 50 1.2 Operations (Hard Mode) You may also want to have a read of this thread for more assistance. At the moment, the Van'Hasselt Legacy focuses on an underworld family dedicated to hustling. The two characters I have at the moment are both brothers to one another, but separated by a heist against the Empire that went wrong. Any folks whom I feel are part of the 'family' so to speak will most likely remain with the Surname, but a few folks will be contacts of the family (allies) or opposing criminal families (rivals)

I do believe it was covered in a Dev Q&A recently. Basically drops are based upon what the FACTION can use from a player perspective (ignoring companions). Thus, Sniper Rifles will only exclusively drop for Empire Players, but Assault Cannons will only drop for Republic Players, etc. Do note: Risha can use Blaster Rifles (based on memory - correct if wrong) which drops for both factions. It means you can easily upgrade her! Of course, if you want to stick with the Sniper Rifle route, there are end-game drops and/or crafting schematics you can use to upgrade.

In a basic sense: Bisexual is the attraction to someone of either SEX (biologically speaking) Pansexual is the attraction to someone of either GENDER (socially constructed, not biological), thus, someone can be either MALE or FEMALE (sex), but can be different on their GENDER.

It's been a while since I checked this thread - it's good to see more people coming in every once in a while! I myself lost my guild that I settled into, simply as big guilds weren't my cup of tea - unsurprisingly, I got banned from the guild site for leaving. Obviously am such a bad LGBT member! Hopefully everyone is enjoying themselves - would be nice to find a few more players on The Progentior though - it does get lonely somewhat. Just no dating!

It's fairly commonplace - only difference is people know these things in areas where political stuff exists. It's not commonplace elsewhere. Anyway, hope everyone is doing alright - good to see some more people checking in.

Just posting to say I'm still here - finally managed to find a guild I feel I can settle into quite well. Admittedly it's not designated as LGBT-friendly, but the folks inside it are quite alright. If anyone cares to join, it is named 'Amethyst Shard' on The Progentior (EU-RP)

Unlikely. Paazak is likely to be considered a form of gambling and in an MMO world, can land it even higher ratings or even outright ban it from some countries. Doesn't mean that folks cannot develop their own version of Paazak through the /roll system, but so long as actual credits / items are not traded, then it might be viable from a player-made variant.

It happens shamefully - even with the new focusing on LGBT groups (e.g. Mass Effect 3), people still are in their prejudging attitudes. Mind you, I would suspect the majority of guilds are LGBT friendly, but they just do not advertise guilds as such because it should be a norm. Only we, the players, can make sure that happens.
