  1. Well you are saying the CREATOR of SW universe is wrong ummm wow lots of stones there. Thats like telling Stan Lee all his comic hero's are fail becuase he made them. I would think the creator of the universe should be law versus all the wannabe's that want to be George. Now to keep things in perspective. The timelines should be in accordance of when it was prevelant. Anikin, yoda, sidious, luke, ben are in one timeline and the most powerful beings in the galaxy. In SWTOR we have the current emporer and Whatever toon you are playing in jedi or sith as being the most powerful as this game is telling the story of YOUR Character and where it ranks in the galaxy.
  2. Ok guys, Go back to that fatally flawed movie Episode 1. When Gunyon Viceroy was asked if he has ever seen a jedi before. This is when the jedi where more prevelant. Jedi were rare even in the jedi orders existance during a peaceful era.
  3. I don't care what anyone says who is number 1 or number 1000 for that matter According to Sidious in Episode 3 Vader would become greater than himself and Yoda. So at some point he is greater than Sidous before his death. It has been forseen. But according to Lucas the greatest was Luke and the storylines that follow in the novels follow this trend. /shrug. This debate is meaningless Remember also that sidious in Episode 5 said son of skywalker must die or he would be the end of both of them. Well Luke's survival was the end of both of them before he was even in his prime. So was the Son of Skywalker the chosen one and Vader was just a tool for that prohpecy to be fulfilled? probably.
  4. I found her annoying and with my IA I killed her in cold blood. Annoying = lightside
  5. When my friends started this game I was getting phone calls "BEST MMO EVER" after two months of play they are no longer playing. This game has a lot of issues as to completeness. I hear a lot of players have multiple 50's but the legacy content isn't implemented as of yet. This gives a question of "Why is there a legacy if its meaning is pointless at this point?". This is one of the first MMO's I can say I truely never played everyday I can walk away from it and pick it up few days later and not go through the "gamer withdrawel" while at work or school or attending family functions it isn't even a topic to be discussed. I am going to continue playing but not as a full time till I get bored all together which might not be to much longer. /shrug
  6. No on all counts, for one a player that killed you from stealth has some very good skill and they know what they are doing. Also they are some of the slowest players in the game because they do not have a jump ability or a force speed etc etc as most other classes have. This means they have to work thier ***'s off to get to you without being spotted and that is no easy feat. What I recommend is either change how you play if you are getting killed from stealth you have been singled out because you were not in a group of players that will help terminate the op or smuggler. Next if you are by yourself you will need to know what it takes to overcome that. Most classes in this game have the ability to kill one another just finding what works happens with experience.
  7. SWG was awesome because it had a total immersion of social atmosphere. The server I played on had a lot of women players and most of them were the crafters and entertainers. So you had a lot of interaction with awesome female players. The guys went out pvp'd in the world not in a box like what we have now. Raiding other player cities was fun and lasted for hours. There wasn't a true leveling system we had the ability to customize our character classes we were not stuck with just one set of parameters. After a hardcore day of grinding out boxes or pvping we could always sit back in the cantina's and chat with other players and have a great night relaxing in the game. Crafting was unique at the time as well. Crafters were relevent as gear would become broken it could only be repaired for x amount of times before becoming totally useless. Unlike SWTOR or WOW gear would hit durability 0 we can repair it and the gear wasn't lost. Rare loot. Was exactly that. World bosses would drop an item once in awhile with amazing states for damage and these items didn't last forever as mentioned before with item decay. There are a lot of great memories of that game and the relationships built and still stay in contact with a lot of those players even though we play different games or other happenings in life. SWG was a true MMO that required everyone to interact with each other to get the items needed for your class. We were limited to one character per server unless you unlocked a jedi slot (this is one thing that killed the game as well).
  8. I hear ya, I play a BHm now after my op has taken a hit. What I have expereince so far is that the aoe and the knockbacks are far better than the IAo. The IA is singular target with a punch (used to have a punch) and the fights lasted a lot longer overall. BHm cleans house and keeps on moving. As for pvp I had more fun with the BHm than the op because the OP is more like a wow rogue and suffered the same fate in the nerfs applied.
  9. OP, first of all mid level or high level doesn't matter when you face off with a character in this MMO. This MMO everything is equal with exception to level. It is about the story lines and when you face them during your leveling. I have started one of every class in this game and each character is supposed to be "the one" that changes something in the paradigm that is SWOTR. Just because it is a level system doesn't mean that Revan or whomever else should be elite level 50 or champion level 50. It is when and at the point in the story line they are introduced to the character that makes it relevant.
  10. The game was a success, what killed it was SOE and changing the game more than once eventually it became a boring Leveling system. How about character customization the fencer/Kera tasi combination or the carbineer/bh combo. or the combat medic. After a long day of grinding out the boxes or pvp sat back and talked to the dancers, crafters in the cantina's and just having a great time.
  11. @OP First of all I like the fact we do not have "AddOns". Most everyone that have experienced AddOns are ones that played in WoW. Addons had thier uses but then we had third party programs running in the UI that helped exploit the game. I do not have enough fingers or toes from WoW having guilds recruiting saying need bossmods healmods etc etc to be able to raid. That is just an exploit for those lacking how to play. User Friendly is getting way out of hand when it comes to keeping complexity in the games. There should be failure before success its part of the learning process. Most games do not have AddOns and they are the most enjoyable overall.
