I think there we're multiple problems. Bioware wanted this game to be like their successfully titles , such as Dragon Age.However, what they didn't realize is having a linear game only works for single player,In a MMO setting it gets boring really quickly.I think another problem was the suits at EA.Instead of letting creativity run amok,they just took every aspect that they thought would bring them money and smashed it all into this game.Thats why you have Star Wars, a WoW clone, mini games,(I.e. the awful space combat), and whatever other cookie cutter money making scheme from other titles they could throw in there.The only thing that makes his game stand out from the pack is the stellar story and voice acting, that would be more suited for a single player experience since at 50 it tends to be irrelevant.

People who pay to play this game want some kind of reward, If you win you still get the reward much faster, I don't see the big deal.

This is the funniest post I've ever seen in here. You're lvl 20 and you think that's indicative of a lvl 50? LOL .If all you use at lvl 50 is vicious slash and ravage you are terribad. I have a 26 Sorceror , and I think he's hella easier than my marauder.

No doubt this patch was rushed out as the project deadline neared and the execs were getting ancy. To determine how much this will effect their customers they use a simple formula, if the cost of completing the update is higher then the expecting cancellations of rushing it out then it will be rushed. Unfortunately the higher ups never factor in word of mouth or customer loyalty. When this game came out I initially touted how awesome it was.However, I am no longer going to recommend this game to friends as it may make me look stupid.

Every premade I've ever been apart of In this game didn't really coordinate to win. I suspect once 1.2 comes out you will see a lot more coordinated premades.

It's an RPG, of course gear is essential,what you are looking for is an FPS.

This is badly needed , I should not have to hit tab 4 times to get the guy Im looking at 2 feet away.

Ive never had a problem beating a Vanguard, I think your issue is you are blowing your CD's too early. Wait till your closer to death before popping Unying Rage. That wait he will think you are about to die and blow all his CD's . If you need extra time go into stealth and just let the DoT's tick before popping back out.

All this patch does is make the other 2 Mara specs actually usefull.

Like the other poster was saying, you can win Voidstar with no healers if you have the right class makeup. I do agree though that with 2 or more healers you have a huge advantage if the other team has none.However, that's the nature of the game, the only way to guarantee a healer is to have a premade.
