  1. Ahh I do apologize. I didn't notice that there was a sub-section after I entered the server channel. I'll be more careful in the future, and thank you for the help.
  2. Thank you for your response and for calling me a numnuts. I have seen Guild Recruitment topics on the server channels, and I have not seen any channels specific for Guild recruiting, but perhaps I missed it. If not here, where is the appropriate place for this topic? Thank you,
  3. Awesome! Thank you very much, I'll go apply now
  4. Hey are you still recruiting? I've had a few characters on the Pub side of Shadowlands, I'd like to branch out to Imps. I've only just started though, so my Op is still really low level. If you're looking for higher levels only I totally understand though!
  5. Good evening all, I hope I'm not stepping out of line here, I'm sure this gets asked a lot... I'm guessing there are several guilds recruiting, but I'm hoping to find one that has at least a few members around my area recruiting? Republic or Empire side, I'm not really picky. Thanks for your responses!
  6. Hey everyone! A year late, but hope this helps. I was having trouble with this achievement too, and I found this thread in my search. I was curious why I had 11 kills on this when I started, but Droids weren't giving me any. I think I found an answer. There are two separate droid achievements: Taris Droid Smasher (Republic) - Imperial/Pirate Droids Destroyed Wiping Away the Remnants - Rogue Droids You'll only get credit for the Droid Smasher if you kill droids that have "Pirate" in the name. Cittie's original comment was spot on for me. Just South of Waypoint Station Dray Speeder, around -700, 1000. As far as Imperial Droids, I'm not sure those exist. If so, I couldn't find them. The Droids that count for "Wiping Away the Remnants" are all over, though I found that around 175, 200 was an okay source. There are some Nexu and plenty of Bogstalkers there too, so it's a pretty productive area in all. Cheers!
  7. Thanks for the response! I think I will stay on my original server. I worked pretty hard on the legacy so far. I'm not big into PvP beyond warzones so The Shadowlands should work okay for me. Thanks again!
  8. I haven't completed all of the storylines, but I've gotten through to chapter 2 on everyone, so here's my two cents based on that The Imperial Agent (Sniper/Operative) has a fairly interesting storyline, I think. They get more of a perspective of what it's like in the Empire working with/against the Sith. It also has a very "James Bond" feel. The Sniper gameplay involves the cover mechanic, which I personally don't like, but basically you can click a button to take cover. If you take cover behind the environment, most ranged attacks miss you as long as you stay behind cover. Other than that, you're a ranged dps class. The Jedi Sage storyline felt fairly bland to me. "Go here, heal this master. Ok go over here and heal THIS master. Then go heal this one, then this one, then this one." Plus I don't care for Qyzen, and he's your first companion and also a tank, so I usually end up running around with him. The Sorcerer storyline was much more interesting to me. Force Ghosts and extra Dark Side power over said Ghosts. I enjoyed it. Also, Khem is much more fun to me. As far as gameplay, the Sage/Sorcerer are the same class, so it's the same with different names on the abilities. The Telekinesis/Lightning path gives you pretty good AOE damage and plenty of proc abilities. You also have a healing path. The other DPS path is the "shared spec" that is the same for Sage/Shadow and Sorcerer/Assassin. I don't know much about it, I prefer to stay away from the shared talent trees, but from what I hear it's pretty good in PvP. Cheers
  9. Hi all! First post for me, so I apologize in advance if this is a repeat topic or under the wrong cateogry. I did do a search and came up empty, hence this post I've played SWTOR on and off and am thinking about getting back into it. I love the story and gameplay and with my job settling down I have more time to play. So I have some leeway on which server to choose. I'm on the East Coast, so I'd like one of those. I'm not too picky about faction, there are pros and cons for me either way, so whichever I end up with I'll find something to make me happy with it. So here are my questions: Which server are you on, and what caused you to decide on that one? I'm looking for one that's friendly and sociable, do any stand out? Would the RP server tend to be more talkative/friendly, or is that just an odd prejudice I came up with in a dream? Mostly I'm trying to get away from WoW, they have the worst user base I've ever encountered. When I game after work, I'm not looking to get yelled at for not doing the right thing in PvP or people who get angsty in flashpoints, and WoW was terrible for that (I get yelled at by customers plenty enough). I never felt comfortable PvPing in WoW. I'm not meaning to judge the game, obviously it's doing well enough to suggest that a lot of people are happy there, but it just wasn't for me. Thank you very much in advance for any responses! I apologize for the length, I'm a bit of a rambler.
