Really? These are minor compared to actual time sinks. How many days I spent grinding money in a f2p mmo just to enchant one piece of gear one level (just for it to fail and destory the item). How many weeks I spent grinding out bloods for several attempts at my hot heart of magic. How one level takes a solid 120h~ (2-shotting mobs higher level then my character). Played everquest? Mu Online? Maple story past 70 before 2006? Aion? Space cowboy? Linage? Diablo 2 *99 pre-1.10*? You: "I have to hold the W button for 30 seconds boo hoo" This game is faster to cap then Rift/aoc (which is faster then light speed) and you think its too much of a time sink? Really? Even the RNG bags are faster to get gear, what other game that has pvp gear allows you to get T2 gear FASTER then T1, and separating acess to t3(BM) with a very easy to obtain rank.

I would LOVE that system for Champion gear, I have 8 duplicates of my offhand alone, 6 chests, 3 armbraces, more implants then I can count, and still no gloves, mainhand, or the new relics What pisses me off Is I npced all the unassembled relics I kept getting only to find out the champion ones I got prior are turned into pve raid relics and I don't get 96 expertise. (I don't get anymore relics and centurion have less stats and no expertise

You must be new. Let me tell you two things, one pve players are always the majority, and two have you experienced games where hero stats are non-existent? You do know pvp was originally a fun distraction to slaying the dragon and saving the princess. Before it was just pve and players attacking other players, then someone said "Hey, lets add arenas, battlegrounds, pvp gear, ranks, and finally hero stats to give people something else to grind" Ta Daa! *rolls-eyes* Pve was all about Progression, PvP used to be about fun, competition, and ganking people you do not like. Play something older then WoW post WOTLK?

Huh? I usually do not raid but don't their scripted encounters get increasingly difficult? Players do not run around with 3.3 million HP. The only issue if you want to raid you should be avoiding pvp gear altogether since you gain no benefit for having 2 sets. It wouldn't effect me personally but your right for those who want to do both it wouldn't be fair

Flat out no. Why? I'll Explain Hero stats was a step in the wrong direction, your argument is pve raid gear should not be superior/on par with pvp gear is a good point but you do not need a overall stat (15% Damage/Healing/Mitigation) to fix it. It is just as easy to make pvp gear favorable over raid gear by adding better primary and secondary stats. Ex: PvP gear has a lot more cunning on an IA set suited for dps focused builds, while another provides better survivability, and a third for utility/hybrid not all 3 How hard is it to make them both equally accessible so those who want to pvp can gear, and those who pve can still be viable when they decide to. Drop this "I pvp for my gear so I demand to outclass anyone significantly who doesn't" attitude. When everyone is similar levels of expertise the stat is meaningless and it comes down to how well the player plays his class, for everyone else is left behind is fighting uphill Personally Hero stats just give pvp "superstars" an out for why they died, to save face. hurhur
