  1. i belive you can start buying rated coms at rank 40? so lvl 40 if you keep your rank capped at rank=lvl if you do lvl 40-50 strictly from WZ's i think you could have quite a lot of ranked coms by 50 if you need something to spend coms on before 40, buy WZ medpacs and adrenals, once you hit 50 you really want to spend all your coms on gear so i would say theres definatly a point, if you start doing 50 pvp in recruit gear or even worse lvling gear, its going to be a rough experience, but if you can get a few pieces of ranked gear right away it will help
  2. they should just anounce the 70% of the servers that will be shut down, then let people from those transfer to whichever of the remaining 30% they chose
  3. if you are going for the high end metals, i believe there are 4 missions, 1 abundant and 3 moderate. it can take a while to get them all going, by doing the enter/exit ship thing, simply because there are so many gift/fabrik missions, that the chance for metal missions is low a trick to help with that, is that before entering/exiting the ship, to get a new batch to chose from, you send your remaining companions out on gift/fabrik mission to take them out of the mix, then after zoning you check if there is a new metal mission and if there is cancel one of the gift/fabrik ones(you get your money back), once you have all 4 metal missions you cancel the last gift one aswell unless you want gifts
  4. no reason to delay the uneven matches. just make it so only the same amount of players, are actually alowed to leave the start box. so if its 5V8, only 5 of the team of 8 are alowed to leave the box initially, when people start dying you do rolling substitutions, and offcourse if more people join the team of 5 more are alowed out from the other team aswell. that IMHO fixxes al problems with uneven matches, and alows games to start on time to boot.
  5. i would definatly wellcome it, mainly since ive had a couple of very bad runs the last few days one was particularly nasty, got a good blue recipe fast enough(pwr/crit), then it took a very long time(well 20 likely) to get a purp recipe, and it was the defence one....ok try again, another very long run, pressense.... ok try again, another very long run accuracy...ok try again, insanely long run, alacrity....then just a long run, and i finally got extra surge, that was some very expensive lvl 25 implants for my alt LOL, took me 2 days and i play quite alot of hours every day i do however think a 1-2% increase would be sufficient

  7. has happened to me several times the last few days. playing rep always when at the left turret, and i think always when that was the only turret we got from the start, and we never got another
  8. from what ive seen there are 3 moderate and 1 abundant metal underworld trading mission, NOTHING else ive had 4 pets out and logged in/out entered/exited ship a crapton of times, never succeded in getting a 5th mission going if you are having trouble getting them to spawn, send your pets out on the gift/fabrik missions(so there are less of those in the possible missions to get) log out and back in and drop the gift/fabrik missions(you get your cash refunded) you now ought to have some metal missions to chose from
  9. the funny thing is they claim there was a bug that made our grav stacks count for all commandos, giving us those big hits on our insta, when more than one person was spamming grav if this is the case and the only thing they fixxed, then why was i seing about the same dmg when i was the only commando in a group? anyway the nerf to grav seem to be way more than 10%(somebody claims the armor debuff no longer works) and the only thing making up for it was that we got bursty, now we arent bursty anymore either, just mediocre dps that is easy to shut down
  10. i wont say im a good player anymore, im 42 now and my reactiontime is not what it used to be, i have played games like this for 15 years though, so i would say im atleast still decent, i have a 69 sorc(retired) and a 81 gravspecced trooper what im seing is that against bad groups i do really well, and am usually at the top of the scoreboards with my trooper but as soon as we are up against good players i do not do well at all if left alone a gravspecced trooper still hurts alot, but we are very easy to kill or just shut down from watching my friends(non troopers) they seem to be much more consistent in their performance, and im fairly sure this is not because of me being a terrible player, but because my class is easy to shut down for anyone competent
  11. edited my post 2 posts up with what i could find in the patch notes nowhere does that make their intent blatantly obious to me... infact from reading georg zoellers post i had an entirely different feeling of what was their intent
  12. i wasnt referring to the patch notes i was referring to georg zoellers post that came a few days before the patch about how it was going to work in 1.2 is he or is he not someone that should know what they intend? and if what he wrote is what they intend, then its a bug edit: reread the patch notes "Craftable Custom (orange) Battlemaster and War Hero PvP armor has been added to Synthweaving and Armormech. The schematics for these items can be purchased from Battlemaster and War Hero vendors." "Players can now remove Armoring modifications that have set bonuses from items and transfer those set bonuses to Custom (orange) items. These modifications can only be transferred to an item that is equipped in the same slot. This does not apply to all items with a set bonus, only those where the set bonus is attached to the Armoring modification." this is what i could find on crafted pvp gear in 1.2 this does not go against what georg zoeller wrote in his post what he said was that for the new gear(warhero/campaign) the setbonus would come from the armoring mod, and for the old gear(battlemaster/rakata/columi) the setbonus would come from the shell well my crafted battlemaster items do not have it on the shell=bug
  13. bugreported it in game and it has now been advanced to the next lvl, whatever that means i was told to look at future patch notes, would have been nice if they had definatly confirmed it as either a bug or working as intended
  14. in the post by georg zoeller about items in 1.2 he clearly stated that for battlemaster/rakata/columi the setbonus would be on the shell, for the new warhero/campaign gear it would be on the armoring mod however my crit crafted battlemaster gear does not get the setbonus, even though the armoring mod is also battlemaster(which shouldnt even be needed) for my non crafted columi/rakata items, where i have replaced the columi/rakata mods with battlemaster mods, i am getting the setbonus from the shell so it seems crafted battlemaster gear is bugged, can others confirm this? and is there an eta on a fix? i have spent alot of credits/time/materials to get this set, after reading georg zoellers post and am quite honestly not a happy camper right now
  15. he asked if anyone have tried putting BM mods into orange crafted BM gear, not warhero and yes this should work, havent been able to find any orange BM gear with aug slot yet unfortunatly i read about items etc before i started messing around with my mods, and it clearly said that for old sets(BM/champ/columi/rakata) the setbonus is on the shell, for new sets(campaign/warhero) the setbonus is on the armoring mod also if you put warhero/campaign armoring into a BM/rakata shell, you do not get 2 setbonusses the BM/rakata bonus will be the one counted
